  1. OK so I probably butchered the name of the icons that show what powers are currently affecting me, both positive and negative, that display under your XP bar. Namely these: Today I was under the affect of the Farady Cage power by an random and I wanted to see the effects of the power so I right-clicked the icon. For ~1.5secs I got what I would expect - a detailed listing of everything that power is doing: However after that ~1.5secs the display changed to this: I retested this a number of time and every time after ~1.5secs the display would change. Immediately right-click on the icon again and the details view would show - for ~1.5secs.
  2. SD/Savage is fun. I have a Brute with this and Savage Leap into the mod from afar (add a KD proc), then Shield Charge (already has a chance to KD so now you've got most foes on their backs), then Rend = most minions/LT's dead. Maybe Street Justice for Secondary?
  3. Hi all, dont normally play Corruptors but wanted to give one a shot. Chose Water Blast + Dark Miasma and just got to level 33. I have no idea how to slot or what to aim for with Corruptors and would like some general advice or even a build is someone has one. Cheers
  4. I really like the idea of part of the Sentinel Inherent being moved to Tankers where the T1 (mandatory power pick) applies the -Def/Res and upon building up a Bruising Bar the next T1 that hits triggers a larger -RES debuff. This allows me to 'save' my worst attack for when I want to apply the large debuff. The Bruising Bar is like the Fury bar where attacks and being attacked increases the bar. If the purpose is to hold aggro then reward me for it. But maybe this means the Sentinel Inherent needs to change first or at the same time so there arent two of the essentially same Inherent in play at the same time? Another idea, maybe not new, is to allow the T1 attack to replace the Boxing/Kick requirement to take Tough/Weave?

    War Mace?

Here is a very quick build. No purples but does have ATO/Winter sets. No Incarnate powers selected and no Accolades. Can prob be improved but is a starting point. 6. The current BETA patch includes not allowing Travel sets into Athletic Regulation so removing the Celerity IO's is needed (if you have already slotted them you can keep them there but any respec/2nd build or new build wont allow it). Still getting IO's (altitis) and will then run some solo Tip Missions at different difficulties to see how it goes.
  7. +1 for WP. Lots of Regen and Resist and Recovery. Has some Def (not much) and the Aura does -ToHit which helps with the Def (its not much).
  8. With the fixes to certain powers no longer accepting Sets (such as Sentinel > Bio Armor > Athletic Regulation: Should no longer accept travel enhancement sets) if a current build DOES have such a Set IO slotted what happens when the update goes Live?
  9. LOL Hey I dont mind if it stays that way. Happy to rebuild and move Set Bonuses elsewhere 🙂
  10. UPDATE: changed the build as putting the Steal proc in Athletic Regulation is a bug. Even if it wasnt it means you are always stealthed (when not in combat) meaning any rescue or follow missions are a PITA. Also be aware that Bio has a bug ingame atm with Resist numbers somehow adding ~5% for no reason. Still getting the IOs (Winter Sets are bloody expensive) so still gearing up.
  11. This seems to still be an issue. Here is my in-game S/L Resist numbers broken down into their individual numbers - adding them together does NOT equal 75%: Adding all the numbers (green and red) gives me 70.13% S/L Resistance
  12. Along with the Brute Resist numbers being off I just noticed with my Psi Brute his Concentration power (build up) has an End Usage of 5.2/sec. Potentially the bad person has stuffed up other areas as well. To fix Options > Advanced > Database Editor Main Database Editor Group: Brute_Melee Set: Psionic_Melee Power: Concentration [Edit] button Power Attributes tab > Power Type: Change to Click [OK] [Save & Close] [Close]
  13. I'm have altitis so this toon hit 50 and didn't progress much. News to get back to it to do ish the build.
  14. So that thread pretty much, to how I read it, comes down to the animation is crap so dont take it? Or did I miss something? Im not 26 yet (pre-panning the build) so dont have it and I cant remember Claws from Live. What would you put in Evisc place?
  15. Aim is for 75% S/L Resist, close to S/L or Melee capped Def (32% min). 16. Seems like there is a variety of requests for certain pets to stay in melee vs ranged. Could there be a per Pet flag, in the Pet window, that the user sets to indicate THEIR preference? This would need to be remembered when re-summoned.
  17. Imagine a Dual Pistol/Bio Sentinel if it had "Stances". Stance Set 1 = DP Swap Ammo (Standard, Cryo, Incendiary or Chemical) + Stance Set 2 = Bio Adaptation (Offensive, Defensive or Efficient) + Stance Set 3 = Sentinel Inherent (Offensive or Defensive)
  18. Yeah I didnt thinka bout not being able to turn it off an it affecting Escort NPC's when I slotted it. I also 2 slotted AR with the Celerity Run Speed IO for the +2.25 S/L resist but could move that to Sprint using the End IO instead. I hate Respecs
  19. Found this myself ingame before finding this thread. I have the Celerity +Stealth IO in Athletic Regulation so when not attacking Im always stealthed. I have to use the Walk power so the escorts can follow me. On some maps this can take AGES to get to the door.
  20. Its in my Sentinel Bio Armor - Athletic Regulation power
  21. I have a stealth proc (celerity) in an auto run speed power so can't turn stealth off. Had to turn on the walk ability as even with sprint off I was too fast and lost the npc.
  22. Captain powerhouse has said he wanted to try and have the Sentinel be like its namesake. Sentinel = "a soldier or guard whose job is to stand and keep watch" So a guardian, someone with some defensiveness = hence the Secondary powersets. Keep watch = be on the lookout = Inc Perception in a 20' radius (1/3 that of Leadership buffs) - part of the Inherent Stand Guard = Protect = stop others from getting hurt = Change the -5% Res on all attacks to -7% DAM on all attacks. (leave -ToHit to Dark Blast) This -DAM doesnt stack from the same Sentinels but can stack from multiple Sentinels so more than 1 Sent on a team has added benefits. Keep the Opportunity Bar but link it to a +ToHit or +Acc buff the same radius as Inc Preception. 0-20% = 0%, 21-40% = 5%, 41-60% = 10%, 61-80% = 15%, 81%+ = 20% Or 0-30% = 0%, 31-60% = 5%, 61-90% = 10%, 91%+ = 15% Or even done in 2.5% increments - whatever [Purely numbers for numbers sake - devs need to apply balance points] Similar to the Fury mechanic it builds up as you attack (maybe as you are attacked as well?) and degrades out of combat. This helps both the Sentinel (Solo) plus the Team (Groups) Up the 2ndary Resist Caps to 75% (same as Scrapper) Up the Ranged Dam scale to 1.0 Keep the reduced range as a balance Keep the lower AoE targets as a balance Keep the MaxHP as a balance (lower than Scrappers - both Scrapper and Sentinel take no more than 75 damage from a 100 damage attack [when at capped Resist] but the Sentinel cant take as many of those attacks as a Scrapper can)
  23. The Sentinel Inherent is confirmed to be reviewed for a complete overhaul. No ETA. Also not sure if this is underway or somewhere on the Devs To-Do List. But best to have any further discussion on Sentinels in the Sentinel channel or wait for the Devs to start their "Focused Feedback: Sentinel Inherent Changes" thread (name?)
  24. Thanks for the reply. I'm only at 42 so far and will see how it goes once finished to see if I need PL.
