  1. Gah, that is so nice of you. I'd prefer the pulsating, continuous sound from Crystal Armor (Stalker set, not sure if that matters? New proliferation) removed altogether. Minerals could be reduced by 75%. Also, just got Brimstone Armor, and its continuous sfx could be cut by 75% too. Speed Phase's sfx after its start-up could be zeroed. But Crystal Armor is most important to me. So generous of you, thank you! And I really appreciate your thread - I have several of the sound mods, and they've made the game significantly more enjoyable!
  2. REQUEST: Removing the persistent humming from Stone Armor's Crystal Armor power. I just got it, and oh no, can't deal with that constant sound everywhere. The build up sound is fine, but the consistent part.. ah. And perhaps the same treatment for Minerals - I haven't gotten it yet, but I think it has a similar consistent sound effect. ...And for the Speed Phase power? I'd do it myself, but I'm not sure how to even see the sound files -- my data/sound/ogg/powers only lists modified sound files Ive downloaded =/
  3. Metabolic Acceleration actually gives 20% recharge and Beta Decay gives 10% base plus 2.5% per enemy nearby. Time is comparable at 20 from Time Lord, but I'm just aesthetically not interested in time! Still trying to figure out the best-feeling secondary... Atomic may be the one - Beta Decay and Metabolic Acceleration can be made to look like earth/dust rumbling at the feet and orbiting around us... I wish Drain Psyche added recharge for every enemy drained!
  4. Blaster - Seismic Blast - Tombstone - when set to crystal graphics, Tombstone will form as a crystal, but then blow apart as the generic rock graphic. Big chunks of normal rock will fly away from the enemy after the crystal hits them. This doesn't happen with Entomb, which correctly blows apart as crystal chunks.

Blaster - when Stalagmites are cast with seismic pressure for extreme damage, the large stones that come out of the ground are the original stone graphics only - I have my stalagmites set to lava, and they show when the ability is used normally, but the seismic pressure'd version reverts to the brown, normal earth.
  6. I kind of want to do Earth/Mind, but hard to turn away from Earth/Atomic's +recharge... gar.

  8. I just want to say I love your character names, Roleki! And I'm also currently playing a stone/shield brute (who is constantly out of end 😭), rare to see other /shields, nice.
  9. Hey all, What do you think about a stone/shield brute trying to rotate RoP and OwtS? I can't stand taking kick/tough/weave, so I don't - so I've tried to get as much melee/ranged def from sets in addition to the shield def toggles. He's level 41, and so far I've been using Unleash Potential with as much recharge as I can get to ensure my character is maxing def everywhere for tricky situations - colored to look like a doom knight unholy aura, and it also helps a lot with my stone's end. So that's cool-ish. I'm considering switching to sorcery because I really like the way a red/orange RoP looks, and I'm wondering if I could get more survivability from adding resistance instead of trying to cap def. Before Unleash Potential my melee def is around 41 and ranged is 29. They're both above the cap with UP. UP has about 2 minutes of downtime currently after it's exhausted. Maybe I should focus on raising ranged def through more sets or just popping purples while utilizing RoP and OwtS to always be around 50-60% res. I'm also strangely into sorcery's ranged cast now - those double damage hits are high! I'm taking Soul epic for hell tentacles, dark obliteration, and maybe darkest night, which would help with survivability a bit more. Anyway, what's your feeling about a shield brute using RoP?

  15. Could we perhaps be given an option to customize Granite Armor's look? We have all these cool lavas and crystals, and then -- GREY forever. =( Thank you all!
  16. I must say I actually love the wraith concept, and I have little compunction shadow-izing my teammates >=) But my character is much more of a villain. A minfx option would be great for the heroes. But the flickering... it drives us mad...
  17. Hmm, well, that's awesome, Gatling! You're a badass. I've actually been having a LOT of fun with my Elec/Energy, as it's so active -- juggling the 4 power-up powers keeps me always doing something. I'm still not able to two-shot-sap red bosses like you've done - I have trouble even two-shotting even oranges. But maybe there's more for me to discover. My character is actually lvl 44 or something, took a veery long break. But regardless, it's still an incredibly fun and very powerful combo to play, so thanks for your suggestion! And I have hope for sapping like General Gatling someday...
  18. I love my Ill/Dark controller and I LOVE Fade from Darkness Affinity -- but I can't really enjoy it because this flickering vfx bug has been in game for sooooooo long. Please, please fix it -- it's a great buff with such a unique, awesome vfx, but it's not fun using it when everyone starts flickering like a broken lightbulb. Please, could you hotfix this?
  19. I just read about the purple patch, thanks! So -- this topic is, unfortunately, pretty misleading. Power Boosted Short Circuit is called a "nope" button - but on my lvl 41 elec/energy with 3 end mods in Short Circuit, a PB'd Short Circuit plus a PB'd Ball Lightning still doesn't zero out an orange Council minion. It takes it close with the Ball Lightning - maybe the few extra percentage points from PB at lvl 50 will make the difference, but I doubt it. Edit: A few orange Freak minions were zeroed by PB SC + BL - maybe they have less resistance to end drain? Even +1 minions won't be zeroed by PB SC alone, and BL is needed. I think that's fine - but it's not useful to be able to zero groups of yellows, as they're not a threat. It could be marginally useful if we could zero out groups of oranges with PB SC + BL, but I'm not even sure that's possible at lvl 50 - it isn't at level 41. Red minions still have a sizeable amount of end after PB SC + BL. We'd have to wait for SC to recharge before even hoping to zero reds. So... not sure what the big whoop is here about Power Boosted Short Circuit. High level groups mostly fight at least reds, and this technique does not sap them. We may be able to zero out groups of oranges, which could be okay for smaller groups - not the norm - IF PB SC + BL zeroes them at lvl 50. Otherwise, what, is this promotion for people who want to fight groups of yellows? It works pretty well for whites. Am I doing something wrong? Please let me know if there's a better way to sap reliably with normal pugs, not a niche mode where we recruit just a couple partners to fight yellows and oranges. The video Gatling posted is against a green lieutenant... Disappointed =P

I have a question about the fabled Power Boost + Short Circuit technique -- I have a lvl 40 elec/energy, and my Short Circuit is even 3-slotted with lvl 40 end mods (I'll change em later), so Short Circuit drains 69% (gig) of end before Power Boost. Power Boost should increase that by 78% or something, taking end drain over 100%. But I'm finding even with these enhancements, it's not enough to completely 100% drain even an orange minion. I have to couple it with Ball Lightning. And I can't even drain reds/purps when adding Ball Lightning. Is this working as intended? I was under the impression this combo could just knock out people with Short Circuit -- but is that ONLY for white groups and with a max end-mod-enhanced Short Circuit? Is it something that only works at lvl 50? I won't be getting -that- much more out of Power Boost at 50... Your video shows the attack on a green lieut, Lord Gatling... if the secret techniques are only meant to be used on white enemies, surely they'd have all melted before the circuit could be shorted? Guidance would be appreciated, oh demigods of sappage. How can I reliably sap red groups as an elec/energy? Is this not what was meant? Don't we fight red groups, though?
  21. Hey, The Lockdown: Chance for +2 Mag Hold enhancement is a proc in the hold enh set. When it procs, a crackling, blue electrical sphere surrounds the target in addition to whatever hold power was used. Could we please remove the electric cage vfx? It'd be really nice to just see our normal power fx working. The +2 mag proc is incredibly useful, but my characters don't all summon electric spheres... and I'd rather just see my original vfx anyway. Possible to make it an option? I don't think anyone would be upset if it were just removed altogether. Comments? Thanks!
  22. Thank you so much for the superior testing. I love this power as it's one of the coolest looking, but I've been shocked by how little damage it was doing even with 5-slotted Obliteration on my scrapper. Great to know it has a bug. I've been trying to figure out which power to drop, and you've made my decision. Thanks again!

Hello, Scrapper -> Blaze Mastery -> Fireball with the Dark Fire Crush (alternate animation) animates the vast majority of the time as the regular fireball animation, except the actual projectile is launched from too far to the left of the throwing arm. So basically, the alternate Fireball animation could use looking into. I'd love to use this animation instead for my character, as it makes more sense thematically (drawing the projectile from the left side of her body). Thank you very much!
