  1. It's completely consistent with all katana options.
  2. Not to be blind as a bat, but where is it stated we're getting a change to AE critter damage? Did I miss the point of something somewhere? Though I personally think AVs needed to do more damage. A full team of 8 versus an AV is just a health sponge endurance test, not an actual fight.
  3. I still like the name Surge Protector.
  4. Final Fantasy XIV is a good game.
  5. This has been a bug for awhile now. I'd like to see it fixed, as well.
  6. What does self damage mean? Is that the damage % scale or the modifiers?
  7. Everlasting.
  8. The Mavericks are a Rogues' Guild that hide out in Port Oakes in the Rogue Isles. They do have connections in Paragon, too, however. While one of the purposes of the group may be to make money, the other is to look good doing it! How is that? The Mavericks double as a vigilante task force that target corrupt superheroes, corporations, fascists, and other such people. In a sense, they're a guild of violent Robin Hoods who are ready to leave their mark in Etoile and Paragon and make sure people know the name. The Mavericks are lead by Richter, or "Helmet", a mysterious sword-toting vigilante from somewhere unknown. He's been joined by like-minded individuals who want to free the oppressed and make money doing it. The SG will have an ongoing storyline, on top of its side stories. However, anyone is fit to prepare a story for the Mavericks or offer them a job! If you wish to get in contact with me about joining the group or just RPing with them, hit me up with a PM either here or message me on discord @ Moka#6341. You can also contact me at @Moka in game. Let's steal back the world! The group is on Everlasting!
  9. Sometimes characters develop in ways you don't expect them to.
  10. With the changes where they are now, I see no reason we can't bring back the endurance buff.
  11. Tankers were also given higher buff numbers to the team, to be fair. They give defender levels through the leadership pool.
  12. Yeah it's been a long morning so my vocabulary is probably off. I meant to say something along the lines of making sure they're truly tanks.
  13. I'm not ready to beat the dead horse any longer. There's only so much they can add, and in the end, the goal of City of Heroes optimal play is to kill as many things as fast as possible. Tanker's wider AOE change and damage increase does in fact conceal its role as a TANK because nobody will be able to rip aggro off of them.
  14. He's scared.
  15. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone, this thread will never die.
  16. The no redraw hurts it slightly, but venom grenade is honestly a must have. I do soldier with the soul power pool for Dark Obliteration every once in awhile, as it's worth the DPS. You're not going to be clearing at the rate of like katana/bio armor scrapper or anything but you'll dispatch things fairly quickly with a really sturdy build.
  17. This is sort of what I had to do already when Homecoming first started.
  18. Get rid of defensive opportunity and make offensive opportunity a self sustaining damage buff that also inflicts -res on enemies.
  19. One AT is already irrelevant for farming. Technically all ATs but one ate for optional farming. And farming shouldn't be considered content. You could consider ITFs and such farm content but at least that's actual game content with AVs and such.
  20. I think the damage buff to tankers is entirely necessary. They should have always had the same damage modifier as a brute. The keyword here is modifier. They will not have the same damage potential, but there was no reason a tanker's damage modifier should be as low as it is on the live game. Giving them higher defense/resistance values won't fix their current problems in the regular game, because a brute will still be equally "good enough" at a certain survival rate to invalidate a tanker in the current scheme of things.
