Made the mistake of rolling a super reflexes/SS tanker. Ahhhh!!!!

I was about to say street justice doesn't feel very weak to me but I play it on a stalker paired with bio armor. I noticed a considerable difference when swapping to say, willpower brute.

It would be! Though I wouldn't mind if it were an account-unlock. But maybe that's just me.

What story arc is that?

City of Heroes is a very old game and unlike games like Warframe, World of Warcraft, and Final Fantasy XIV, it does not have much in the way of linear content to push you forward with the sense of 'constantly progressing'. It's instead a game that goes in a variety of directions, but not always forward. It's a true sandbox MMO where you generally have to make your own fun while waiting for updates. I highly recommend playing the Dev's Choice AEs if you get truly desperate for new content, as they're usually pretty good. The fun of City of Heroes is how many ways you can play it, so if you're someone who wants to play just one character, there's nothing wrong with that, but you might find more opportunities in alts and it'll feel like a completely different game.

Is there any chance we could set our teams we form to have the special Ouroboros difficulty bonuses? Like maybe I want to play a "classic" paper team or AE team at level 50 without incarnates? That'd be really cool and I'd think it'd go a long way in giving people an optional challenge if they feel like the game is too easy. I personally find the game a little too easy with a team of 8 incarnates, but I'm not looking to start a debate on the game's current difficulty, so please don't take that as an invitation to.

Yeah. I had to transfer to aether temporarily to meet up with my old static. They were all gilgameshers, haha.

I cleared TEA and took a break from raiding, but overall I've still been very active in FFXIV. It's definitely my favorite MMO so far, even if City of Heroes has a 'home' feeling to it.

I think there should be harder content, but it's kind of hard to figure out just how to do that. I wouldn't mind some more progression beyond the incarnate system.

This videogame is nearly old enough to smoke and I think the fact its updating at all is pretty stellar. Nothing against the other servers, but despite the fact they add much more content, I find a lot of it can come off as rather jank lol. I do like the optimization in Homecoming's new content and keeping it feeling like City of Heroes.

I think new stuff is cool.

No need to fight. Let's keep it civil. I do imagine Dz131 feels a little piled on right now. I agree with the feeling that it feels like built characters are now meant to be the "standard" rather than something you spent months if not years aspiring to on a single character, but I kind of like that I can play a bunch of content viable characters now. However, we have a lack of a sink to really push these characters outside of custom made content in the AE.

Personally I think the game just needs a higher difficulty setting and new task-forces balanced around fully incarnate/IO'd toons. I know creating a taskforce would be easier than a new iTrial, as nice as a new iTrial would be.

CoH has more players than CO but our playerbase is a joke compared to Final Fantasy or WoW.
