  1. Agreed, this is important. I'm not fond of the desire to make our home an afkmobilelarena game
  2. Sorry, no vote. Reason? May I direct you to the many other threads where this was hammered out, and how to solve it easily.
  3. So, I believe that damage resist debuff has a Max of -300 on NPCs. It may have been changed, but on live that was the max. Concerning stacking, that gets trickier as there are a few rules Same debuff, same caster may or may not stack Same or different debuff from different casters I have seen usually stack, unless notes in power Now, you're up against an NPCs max resist, which can reach 200% in some cases (ralaruu boss?) And then the NPCs debuff resistance.
  4. Still no vote.
  5. That's highly controversial at best. Many disagree with you and such statements are dangerous. I get you feel that way, but feelings aren't facts and opinions aren't proof. Taunting ability on scraps and the blurring you speak of is highly subjective. Your asertation that no one will take a better confront aggro tool is false, because I would take it. Your assumption that scrappers don't need taunt is dubious and many have offered differing views and proof. Further, your statement is invalidated by the ongoing requests for scrap aggro auras taunts. Clearly, it's desired. A gap closer is something you want, but by no means THE solution to the issue of under utilized confront. To be succinct, you want scrapper burst of speed and others want confront. You are summarily dismissing many views, which could be counter productive. Perhaps you should be amenable to compromise? And for posterities sake, scrapper teleport is not an idea I will vote Yes for. No vote.
  6. How do I know he's invis if I can't tell and he's on my team? There are situations that require invis and fast verification by a teammate is the visual.
  7. For a bunch of reasons I comically just won't bother posting, I have to say no vote. Look, I'm invisible! But I can see you... Nuh uh!
  8. Actually, even once in 6 seconds would be ok, as the mechanics of casting it, waiting for the animation, running to the target, killing it (which would be 4-9 seconds), tab retarget, cast again, wait for animation again, Sprint to Target, etc.. Just tht process would benefit the more rapid close but not be exploitable as a permanent speed buff. 3 sec moderate speed, once per 6-9 seconds, unenhancable meets design criteria of: -Not exploitable -retains animation -keeps current benefit -adds a quick close in emergencies -keeps unique flavor of SM, shield, lightning rod -not overpowered -adds flavor and variety, making the power a worthwhile pick -requires comparitively less Dev design time So for that idea, replacement, I vote Yes. Beta it, test, and a great first step for v1.1
  9. Meaning, speed boost can only apply once per 6 seconds? Edit: or once per 9 seconds?
  10. I would yes vote this. The weight of return on investment reworking pools like tele and presence far outwieghs a single power from one AT. Further, it would give a valid reason to take it and satiate the "want meleeport" build desire, as well as an option for aggro fun. Doesn't solve the confront, but let's face it, in terms of importance, this is bottom of the list as it doesn't hurt any scrapper to have it and use it, unlike DIMENSION SHIFT, which borks you and your team 8 out of 9 times you use it. Also replacement, I would up vote the 3 second speed boost, but am wary and hesitant because with it's current recharge it could be perma, which is not acceptable. And, increasing the recharge takes away the good it does now.
  11. 1. I want confront to take me to an enemy instantly: not confront any longer, new power and new animations. No thanks, DB confront is really cool looking. 2. I want to teleport to my enemy: ok, there's a pool power for that. But I want it targetable. Ok, roll shield or Savage. Or lightning rod. But I want it in every set. Hmm, so those two sets unique mechanic is now mundane. Ok fine, give all sets a teleport, build up+power up, a ranged attack like claws and make all have 2 AoE. Also, give each set a heal. Now, all have standard mechanics. 3. I want for confront be worth taking. Ok, this I agree with. Great, let's change it completely. Haughty no thanks, how about we polish it? 4. Make confront a choice on par with the other powers in the set. Ok, I'm all for that, how? Teleport. No, see above. How about we find a strategic way to make it work as described? Friend targetable aggro pull? Friend targatable stun those attacking him? 5. But I want to close the gap. Nice, me too! I recommend swift, CJ, ninja run, the W key, Savage melee, shield, roll a blaster. But I want my melee toon to negate the cost reward trade off for rolling melee and not ranged. No thanks, see above 6. But we need to make confront better and the devs agree. Sweet, so do I! Sorry, teleport is not it. What's more, that would be something I wouldn't take, and you don't know if others would take it, but I recommend gathering data so we can prove that they would or not (like a poll or questionnaire). Plus, it would be far inferior to the other 8 powers and my build has no room for sacrificing, say, golden dragonfly for telefront. 7. Yes but see, it takes me to the enemy. Ok let's just entertain this as confront rework. Confront is strategic, like pulling a MOB off a squishy, or a boss from a group. Lost that ability, drat. Hmm ok, so now I can just port to anyone. Ok fine, let's assume it's still strategic. I see squishy health bar dropping out of the corner or my scraplock eye, and I stop and click their bar to Target them, spin around to see them realize they have 1-17 baddies on them and need help. I click new power, I wait for animation, I pop out next to them and go to work. Squishy take hits and dies during. What's more, if I click the same Ally bar mad hit F, I Auto run to them which would be the exact same timelapse as click, cast new power, wait, animate, appear and attack. Pointless as a confront strategic mechanic. Let's call it what it is, you don't want confront, you want a whole new power that lets you teleport about. Me too, so I take teleport instead of SJ. No thanks on the change. Let's be frank, no disrespect intended. Teleport as part of every set is plainly not just a better confront, it is a mechanical redesign to the AT. Not even diving into the limited Dev resources that would have to be committed to such an effort. I like your zeal, I respect your effort, but this is an Edsel.
  12. I get you, but please keep in mind the OP didn't launch a discussion he offered a proposal, which is cool. After his speech, I said "I'm not sold and frankly, I have to vote no. Also, I'm open to your refining it and trying again." Now, if this were an attempt at discussing his rough idea and his ellicitation of how to make it better to collaboratively create a better world for all the children and puppies 😋 I would oblige, but it wasn't. No disrespect, but, not sold on teleport ever, and no vote. And because of the lack of listening to feedback I'm now not receptive to this idea even refined.
  13. You just lost your audience. No one said there's not people who want change, what I said refers to your proposal only I said your idea is unconvincing, so no sale. That is IRRESPECTIVE of the larger confront debate. Thanks for your idea, but your lack of listening to audience feedback has now prompted me to leave your presentation.
  14. You're misunderstanding, your job is to sell your idea. I'm not sold, but I'm open to your new idea. Work on it and come back, don't ask me to sell myself on your idea. And don't tell me I'm wrong for not liking your idea.
  15. OP, I gotta say, you're kinda going about this backwards. We're the audience, if you want a change, you have to convince your audience that there's a problem, that it's significant, that it needs changing, that your proposal is worthwhile and get buy in. You're asking us to propose changes to you. Look, I don't care if confront stays the way it is, I'm not at all interested in a change. If you are, that's awesome, your job now is to get be to buy what you're selling. Honestly though, telling me my reason for not wanting what you're selling is telling your audience they are wrong for not wanting what you want: instant loss of audience. If your pitch doesn't work, work on your pitch.
  16. That's great. I think this one of the least desirable suggestions, thus the hard no vote. Also, it's kinda rude to tell someone their objections are not relevant. Your case for change is shaky and your proposed solution is unconvincing, I'm very sorry. I suggest, take the feedback, review your proposal, refine it until you get buy-in. Sure, confront sucks. Bit your proposal is an instant no. I'm welcome to a reproposal and encourage you to work on your case
  17. Exactly, two primaries that are majorly defined by a unique mechanic that this would trivialize. Sorry, hard no vote on giving all sets a teleport to foe. Other fixes? Sure. Not that one.
  18. Range closing attacks are features of certain sets that distinguish them. Sets such as Savage and shield have unique powers that should stay that way. Leaping has spring attack. By giving this mechanic to all scrap sets, we open a whole can of other worms as well. Sorry, I have to vote no, we should not go down this path. Unique confront changes would be something like Ally targeted aggro redirection, or for targeted aggro redirection.
  19. The solution to this is quite easy, Don't auto-gank yourself by insisting on +4 as default 😋 There, aggro cap argument solved for the OP.
  20. I feel you. Perhaps play a not brute for a week or two? Controllers are fun! We'll get there, they're working on it 😁
  21. You, are the person. I use gender neutral here to be safe. And I give you an air-five.
  22. Invuln rooted, changed in 2 I think. God that sucked. Claws swiffy swiped, I loved it, deleted my claws when they redid the animations. MA had back flippy, side pausin' kicky, hyper machine gun kicky fun, which changed in 2, 7 and I think 9? Ene melee got ganked. And I forget when, but I think 12 or so? Death to TF! Deleted my main tank. I miss anything?
  23. There's a great write up on this that boils down to, If you're at the damage cap then generally go double hit, like a fire/kin controller and a capped brute. If you're well below the damage cap, and have heavy hitting attacks like a scrap, go boost. If you're well below the cap and have light hitting attacks, like a tank, go double hit. Generally.
  24. This just in, Warshades are MF'n! Tri-forming is the uber-gosu! In other news, PB's are best in human only, and we don't mean a sandwich! Story at 11.
