  1. Something has to be done about Rage. That has to be done.
  2. I just wish more of Paragon City and the Rogue Isles were less of a Potemkin Village and had more places with cool interiors. I know that's quite demanding, but I'd still like it.
  3. I've never played WoW. But I played SWTOR (AKA WoW in Spaaaaaaaaaccccce!) at launch. And WoW isn't the best MMORPG. City of Heroes is. And Homecoming is the best version of City.
  4. The Day Job check is on login and it checks if your login location is tagged for a Day Job. Those are volumes set and adjusted by the devs. If you're in a Day Job volume (normally checked by which is the left-most Day Job indication on your Buff Bar), then the time your Toon was logged out will be credited to the Day Job. Patroller::Criminal is another separate check done if the Day Job Badge is unearned and if you've accumulated more Patrol Duty time. As well, the check will credit Day Job Accolade Powers as well.
  5. Flea is quite right. Like other loaded files, it's done while the City client starts up. The client needs to be exited and restarted to see any changes.
  6. The solution to this issue is saving the Chat config ("/chatsave"). Because the Chat config stores where the split line is in the main chat window. Reloading that saved Chat config ("/chatload") will reset the Chat config as it was saved. Important note: Any Chat Tabs with a default Global channel will have no default channel. Edit each such Chat Tab to set a default channel.
  7. Not sure, but I think it's because you commented on that topic and when there's a link inclusion, it grabs all sorts of images.
  8. The Critical Strikes ATO Special is a proc you want in an attack that's used before your heavy hitters. The non-Superior version is a 2PPM proc, the Superior version is a 4PPM proc. When they fire, they increase the chance of a crit by 50% for 3.25s. That's a very short window, affecting maybe 1, 2, or 3 attacks. https://cod.uberguy.net/html/power.html?power=boosts.attuned_critical_strikes_f.attuned_critical_strikes_f https://cod.uberguy.net/html/power.html?power=boosts.superior_attuned_superior_critical_strikes_f.superior_attuned_superior_critical_strikes_f https://cod.uberguy.net/html/power.html?power=set_bonus.set_bonus.critical_strikes_proc I put Critical Strikes in Body Blow because that may be followed by Quick Strike, which has a 1.056s Cast Arcanatime. But then there'll be a stronger attack after that. It depends on your sequence of attacks where you want to put it.
  9. From the Combat Attributes window, I always monitor "Last Hit Chance" at the top, to let me know when it's dropped below 95%. The next one is always "Damage Bonus". That way on all my Toons with whatever sources of extra Global Damage Enhancement, I can see it. Have that in the monitor window and can see pumping up the Damage Bonus after firing Power Siphon. Putting in the Gaussian Chance for Build Up Proc in Power Siphon with a fairly high chance to proc helps to boost the damage of the initial attacks while getting stacks of hits to raise Power Siphon's own Damage Enhancement.
  10. From what the devs have mentioned on the Closed Beta Discord, on high-population busy Shards (which couldn't be tested before going Live) the City Badge Tracker script grows in memory that before the weekly reboot, it hits the per-script memory limit and gets killed off. There's a bugfix on Brainstorm being tested and should be deployed to the Live Shards when there's a Live Patch announcement.
  11. I've run a Kinetic Melee/Ninjitsu Scrapper through Praetoria and found it to be fun. The attacks only sound slow due to the long sound effects. Power Siphon is more damage than Build Up, as it quickly builds to 5 stacks and thus on a Scrapper 5x +31.25% = +156.25% Damage. And that's every 30s on the completed build. The key is to take all Powers but Repulsing Torrent and Confront. When Power Siphon is fired, quickly use the T1, T2, and T3 Powers to pump up the damage to 5 stacks and go with the T7, T8, and T9 Powers at full damage bonus. It's been a while since I played the Toon. I ran it as a Goldside Completist and I screwed that up in First Ward. As I enjoyed the Toon, decided to reroll it as I know how to do that properly now. The build is from i26p5 and needs a serious review, as it is still using the old Tier minimums for Powers. Already rerolled the Toon and once I've caught up with a massive amount of other Toon admin, I'll be running it through Praetoria again. 12. COMRADE !
  13. @Major_Decoy, I think you mean "Flee". Because if you say "Flea", who knows who might show up? Right, @Bionic_Flea? 😺
  14. Look at the sums. Lists the -Regen and -Heal debuffs but they don't change the value.
  15. But the Cage Powers in both Force Field and Sonic Resonance aren't autohit, so they always have at least a 5% chance to miss. What happens then?
  16. Come on, @Snarky! Show 'im the Power of the Dark Side! 🍿 😺
  17. As others have mentioned, Interrupt Reduction Enhancements don't speed up that long casting time, they just cut down the window in which the Toon can be interrupted. What could reduce the amount of time you have to Rest is slotting it with a Health Enhancement. When Rest'ing, the Toon gets back all its Endurance first, then all its HP. With a Health Enhancement (SO or IO) in Rest, that time to get to full MaxHP should be shorter.
  18. @Psyonico, the best people after the HC Powers devs to talk with about all this stuff are the MRB staff: @Felis Noctu, @Metalios, and @Zed. They are very irritated with UberGuy, as his work building on the people I mention below is all hidden away closed-source. And the CoD2 website isn't really walkable by any automated tool (like wget or curl) to extract its data. Last update to CoD2 was done in 2024 July because of pressure from an HC dev. And UberGuy is now walkabout. The only open-source stuff on it (besides .json files here and there) is the parser @RedTomax used for the original CoD. And what @RubyRed did, which I think is the parser in Rust.
  19. Hmmm, now I'm curious. I should try this on my main AR/Devices Blaster (he'd have his secret weapon, a Resist-All 90% Gun Drone to tank). And my Ice/Cold Controller--but I think I'd need to fiddle the build, as I took Frostworks at L49 in the current one. Ice Shield and Glacial Shield may not be enough. I assume you need +1x4 to get Hellfrosts in sufficient numbers. So, there's a few other things to get help outside of Teaming with other Players: Use the City Player's Secret Weapon: 2nd Account Toons. On my 2nd account, I've got an Anchor Toon (DM/Inv Scrapper), a single-build universal Farmer (Spines/Fiery Aura Brute), and a Kinetics Toon (Kin/Electric Defender) for future things like getting the Ski Slope Badges. A 2nd Account makes so many things easier: Hold Loot from all the Toons, like Recipes, etc. Main Account Toon isn't in the Jacke SG and needs gear from my Base or dropping off. Anything to do with the Auction House and controlling both sides of the transactions, like AH Attuning. I've often brought out the Brute with both Auras running and autofiring Burn. At least get some extra toys: Shivan from Bloody Bay From S.T.A.R.T. vendors: https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/S.T.A.R.T. Envenomed Dagger (-Regen -Def) Backup Radio (PPD Hardsuit (Ranged/Melee offensive mix, but at -1 Player Level) for 2 minutes, maybe use after an Ultimate Inspiration, below) Signature Summons (pricey) Amplifiers (pricey) Kinetic Damper (+SLE Defense) St. Louis Slammer (good KB) Ethereal Shift Med Pack Recovery Serum AoE Powers if there's problems with too many targets (there's a Praetorian Imperial City mission that these are a life-saver for) Hand Grenade Stun Grenade Plasmatic Taser Smoke Flash (-Acc) From Luna: https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Luna Super Inspirations for Incarnate Threads (can also buy off of the AH) Especially 3 Ultimate Inspiration, each 30 Threads, for +1 Level, once for each run-in with the Envoy Anyhoo, hope this helps.
  20. That's alright @Snarky. You bring the Snark which is sometimes needed. 😺 I also recently reduced my usage of Macros. Or rather changed them into a different form.
  21. Welp, there's something I recently found out. On a Hamidon Raid, if all 4 Mito Blooms are defeated, there's a better reward table for the HO. Yes, there are 4 Blooms: Initial, Hamidon 75% HP, 50% HP, and 25% HP. Zerg through and not defeat all 4 Booms, then it's a lesser reward table for the HO. Welp, I misread a comment from a dev. Good thing that @macskull caught it. Maybe some day....
  22. New version of the Commands popmenu now released! Download it here! Changelog in the 2nd post of this thread. Installation and usage covered in the 3rd post of this thread. Commands.20250528a.mnu
  23. That's at least somewhat improved by a Toggle Turnon Macro. I have one for near every armour set (still haven't got them all yet) and for appropriate Powersets for non-Melee Toons. Which I can tweak as needed. For Dark Armor, need one near the maximum command length (255 characters) and have to edit the Macro after creating it. I then hit the key until all the toggles are running (have them mostly in Tray 6, which is in the 3-stack of extra Trays under the main three (so top to bottom it's 3 2 1 4 6 8). For Combat Jumping, if there's not room enough for it in the Macro, I have Break and Ultimate-break Macros on B (doesn't stop Prestige Power Surge where I put my Celerity Steath proc) and U (turns off all running movements that I use) respectively that besides turning off other toggles turn on CJ. I put a stealth power turnon macro in Slot 9 Tray 3 and the protection turnon macro in Slot 10 Tray 3, which the macroslot commands puts it in. I also rebind many other keys (movement used WERD) and I bind S to turn on stealth and F to turn on fighting protection, so S and F respectively. next macro is so long you have to edit it after pasting and executing it edit to add "idian Shield" on the end /macroslot 29 +F "powexectoggleon Tactics$$powexectoggleon Assault$$powexectoggleon Maneuvers$$powexectoggleon Weave$$powexectoggleon Tough$$powexectoggleon Murky Cloud$$powexectoggleon Dark Embrace$$powexectoggleon Cloak of Darkness$$powexectoggleon Obs" I usually put Death Shroud in Slot 10 Tray 1 and turn it on for combat as needed. With the changes to Cloak of Fear, it'll likely go in Slot 9 Tray 1. Even with the Macro, it is a lot of toggles to get fired up. Such is life with Dark Armor. 😺 Oh, for running, I have a Macro bound to G to turn on running Powers. And I have H, J, and K bound to activate Powers in Tray 6 Slots 8, 9, and 10. Where I usually put flight and emergency Powers.
  24. I believe boosting the Regen of mobs was to make -Regen Powers the Players already have more useful. The Regen of most mobs are still just about the same as Players, 0 to 100% HP in 2 minutes. This is all a balancing act. Both Damage and -Regen will contribute to overwhelming mobs. The best thing to do here if you have the time is to actually test and report when some ATs and Powersets struggle against which Enemy Groups. These issues will be addressed.
