Look, we’re trying to encourage others to write more here, not tear em down. I’d imagine with that last comment on that individual’s arc, they’d be less receptive to feedback.

And you wonder why people don’t respond to you( well, generally I know why, most either forgot about the arc or don’t care to give you the time of day). Give constructive feedback not just yelp like reviews. Also, you’re talking about them ego-stroking? Who are you to give any authoritative review on AE? Hell, even crane doesn’t really do that, they offer feedback to help the artist. Now, this isn’t my arc obviously, I have 3 of my own for me to play through about my characters, not really written like this, but still. Offer actually good feedback, people will respond more. Give it a go!

People think blasters are squishy( bad players think this). I’d tell em a scrapper is a tank-lite and should be tanking the AVs, and if they were any good, they’d have been tanking the AVs.

I do all of this, and I get where you’re coming from. All I’m saying is for those who want to farm, they shouldnt be considered not playing. 😀 also no one needs to farm and if I wanted to be smart with my time? I’d log into one of my 50s with loads of merits, convert and sell, and within 15 minutes at most, have over 130mil. And thats just one of my 50s. No TF, no hami, 15 minutes of half-assed thinking and selling. But all that aside, I agree with fun/hr over inf. Just not the farm hate since a lot of the haters inadvertently benefitted from farmers way back when the servers came back.

Hey guess what? They ARE playing the game. Crazy right? I say this because people think doing TFs over and over is somehow “playing the game” more than being smart with your time/playing the market & farming. Both work, both are playing the game

Yknow I’m always tempted to make a 2nd acount but all my needs can be met in one account. Got the farming brute, the oodles of merits and IOs, and spare inf for new 50s. If I had it all, I think I’d get bored to be honest(i.e. billions in purps stored). I like being what’d I’d call upper-middle class 😂

Ohh you didnt play when IOs were around back in the day eh? Waaay back, IOs were roughly a couple bil( Gladiators, Shield Wall, LOTG..etc). Here’s my question; How many alts do you have not at 50? That’s a big reason why you may not be able to afford them. I can always send a full build in the mail to any new 50 im going to make because I use the others to fund them, without having to no-life the game.

You want Beam/Devices for a range-only build. Sacrifices nothing and does great damage with the added bonus of feeling like a operative from SWTOR I think( never played one but heard that from someone once)

Grats on the accomplishment!! I always end up in the snare of “This AT is too much fun with IOs” which leads me to making multiple of that AT. Also, I think I got tired of HEATs after my WS, so PB will probably never happen. I need to make a Fort though, just after this Ice/EnA stalker hits 50. Then I’ll have (mostly) every AT to 50(no sents until they get a buff. I can’t justify it as is for a 500mil+ build)

I know this isn’t most people who read comics growing up but man, I see this and see why I generally avoided reading the mainstream ones/being a part of that fandom/community. Too much of srz biznuz instead of just enjoying the work.

I mean, it works if you’re able to detach yourself somewhat. I mean it’s a game, and no one said you have to be a VILLAIN villain. I think people forget this cool alignment called “Rogue”. Does wonders for headcannon, well at least for me. I dunno for others, though. without getting too far off topic and weird about, I think vill side is being seen as for some arcs, an introspective look( again, only for those who can’t fully detach themselves) and they don’t like it. CO made me HATE Hero-only thinking/play. It’s cookie cutter and turns boring fast. Preshutdown CoH had more interesting and dynamic splits between hero/villain with more varied depth and intrigue. It’s what I was looking forward to most upon return, I’m a bit sad to see that’s not the case.

Where are you getting this “Players hop over for X” info? Especially that once a month thing. Is that what you do?
