Not necessarily! Actually, CO's difficulty lies only in endgame, and that's due to the community really. Unless the same people who lead the community in these raids show up, it's a guaranteed failure or at least a slog. But otherwise? Nah, you can build a suboptimal build and not really be pressed throughout the game. Though everyone, once again, is shoehorned into a half-done WoW clone scenario by endgame(generic healer builds, for instance)

You can't. Trust me I've tried. 41 40s, 6 are "pet" FFs. it's not horrdenous but it is bad for endgame and generic in terms of every pet master is a hodge-podge of pets instead of a set like CoH. Controllers don't exist, period.

I think regen is pretty okay...on a stalker. But outside of them, it's simply outclassed in every feasible way, not just in-AT but in other ATs who don't even HAVE survival sets. It could use some help

I seemed to go the opposite it seems. Earlier I preferred a slower more nuanced approach to things. It made me really have a slew of 50 defs/trollers. But now I’m strangely all about damage. Maybe it’s my hectic schedule irl that’s bleeding over into my game preferences haha

I agree with all of this! And like I said previously I really want to make one, seeing as I have 3 blasters and a slew of other damaging ATs at 50. But, I just can’t. I think I could do a lot more with other ATs and I’m not a new player to CoH to appreciate the safety net that sents offer.

I would HOPE your nuke is up every group. That’s probably how y’all can barely mob up the leftover from my fire/atomic(Sorry that’s a slight bit hyperbolic). Also so are both of my blasters nukes. Again that’s something that should be common place. As far as out damaging scrappers? Yeah I call BS. Taking alphas that kill tanks? Are they level 3? Being proud of your build is wonderful! But straight up lying? Yeah no that’s not something that’s cool. Sentinels need a bit of a niche to fill and a buff, I myself want to make one but not in its current state. They do anemic damage outside of fire and I kinda don’t want every build to be Fire/*. If I want mad fire damage I’ll play my Fire/Atomic. Objectively, sentinels have anemic numbers. Something tells me all of this is from a 50 sent observing some 50s with SOs trying to get their stuff together

Hahahhahahs....wait wait OP is serious. HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAH. It’s the opposite way. Brutes are way way WAY lower than stalkers on DPS. Gotta know how to build em(grab the ATIO) and uh, yeah besides the AoE bit which is true for the most part, brutes can hope to hold a candle to a stalker.

Well that’s how YOU play. Not everyone does the same tactic, otherwise I’d imagine the game would be very boring. Not every team will have that ideal setup to do so, plus, even if it did not everyone would like to play that way. Calling someone’s play bad because they enjoy it isn’t very nice. I could say your play is terrible on a blaster because you think psi blast(as I’ve seen you advocate on its behalf like it’s some kind of hidden powerhouse) has respectable damage in the long run, that wouldn’t be true, nor would it be nice either.

Looks fantastic! 🙂 I love that you're able to create these characters in CoH as well! Makes me wish I had any artistic skill in order to draw up some characters I have that I intend to(one day in the future lol) portray in a screenwrite

Well that's rich. My first ever 50 was a NB/Regen stalker. Regen is good...for stalkers and sents. It can be made to work with IO'ing for scraps and with EVEN MORE IO'ing, brutes. But it's really, imo, best on stalkers. Also, most WP players are really good, I've encountered, and rarely die. Maybe it's an everlasting thing to not have good WP, I dunno, but even then I doubt it. I also have a SJ/WP whose very sturdy and can take alphas very well AND kill on top of it. Regen is not one of the best balanced sets. That's again, WP.

Hurdle, swift, etc are slottable same as stamina. I agree with everything here as well, with one minor addition: CoH, imo, is big enough that if you don't like RP'ing with one person, simply move(sometimes literal feet) over and begin RP with someone else. Not directed at you, just adding on to what you're saying 😀

Honestly? This patch needs to be rolled back. Stability issues are too common. I think rolling it back to yesterday's build would probably fix the issue

My cheapest builds are on my other computer, but I think I have a Grav/Time with Soft cap or hard cap everything defensively with no purps. Maybe a few oranges that get a little pricey but generally very cheap and doable of a build.

I tend to throw it in passive powers as a fire and forget or just simply forget, proc. In this upcoming build I have it in triage beacon(I think) and in another build I have planned I have it in soothing aura. Really depends on how often its used or what you want from it I guess
