  1. So, on account of my current task in polishing up the Dantless Reverie base, making it the best possible version of itself, I'm making a request: To all you excellent fellow base builders here, may I see your best medical setups? It doesn't matter if you have a magic or a more ordinary theme in them; I'm looking for inspiration on both - my intent is to tailor my work to the characters that I expect to be the primary users of various spaces, and this group's medical lead is a fairly conventional surgeon (i.e. a Doctor, rather than a Healer) and he'd want a space that's as up to modern standards as a slightly sentient magic-origin self-reconfiguring base would give him... I can handle that kind of atmospheric trapping myself, I'm just a little stuck as to how to actually furnish his operating room beyond "operating table, throw some tools on a stand, oh there should be a sink in here somewhere." I HAVE made him a fishtank for his office, though!
  2. That is CLEARLY Sailor Moon. 🙂
  3. Holy balls, @First Player, those are some extremely impressive costumes - I'm so glad to see they measure up to the excellent names they're on, too!
  4. I would be STOKED about that! I want them for my partner's character; we have so many different flavors of membranous wings but only two functional-looking feather options - GIVE US BONE VULTURE WINGS AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA anyway thread derail over, here's the statue of liberty
  5. Darkfury is correct - you cannot travel through an open sky ceiling outside of base edit mode. The bases that WanderingAries encountered must have been built entirely above the base to begin with; the entry portal was moved outside the plot.
  6. And I'm free again after this latest bit of fun:
  7. Thanks for the plug, @battlewraith 🙂 Meanwhile here's a compilation shot of four more that I just finished (Seismic Selenite, Felis, Synthpunk, and Aurelian Titan). Some fun stuff in here, I particularly enjoyed Synthpunk's design.
  8. They're not - they're actually new. The textures for them are included in the archive containing all the stuff that's new as of Homecoming.
  9. Re those last two bases that @Dacy and @BlackBlade posted: DAYUMM!
  10. Hi there, a while ago I put this costume together of the pokemon Lucario!
  11. It's cool! In any case I did figure out something that worked for me so we're all good. I like your idea of color coding for rarity, too, so I put a spin on that that matches the base's decor: If you position them JUST RIGHT, you can make the logos on supergroup banners visible while the rest of the banner is hidden. Useful for my labeling here, as the alphabet letters are humongous and I don't like the look of them next to the rest of the workshop. Alphabetical divisions were chosen by making an alphabetized list of all salvage types per rarity and counting out where to evenly divide it so it's roughly the same number of stacks per bin.
  12. These evil-looking rune thingies were spotted in the Dark Astoria intro and I don't know if I've even seen them anywhere else. They're cool. Can we have them?
  13. By 'buried' I mean 'hidden behind/below a bunch of other items.' I did watch your video, and in both that and apparently with the tech salvage you illustrate here, both of those strategies seem to rely on a clickable box being still visible, which is what I was avoiding with mine - I wanted what looked like vault doors, as opposed to a smallish storage container.
  14. I continued using the Arcane ones because they have a slightly smaller footprint and found them easier to arrange. The smooth side of the Tech one wasn't giving me much luck when it came to keeping it actually clickable when buried - also, I've never found the ends of either one to be clickable, and AboveTheChemist's photo shows racks that are arranged like a row of bookshelves (i.e. ends facing into the room) but the sides of them are still accessible, which they wouldn't have been in mine. If you've arranged any salvage racks to still be clickable while the only part still visible is the end or bottom, or while the flat side of the Tech one is totally buried, I'd love to see how it was done... in the mean time, this is what ended up working for me.
  15. I'm currently working on adding more salvage racks to my base's workshop, and would like to sink them into the walls to be able to fit more - however I've found that the racks are not clickable from their ends or from the bottom like Dacy demonstrated with enhancement storage tables, which is troublesome. Has anyone found a good way of 'burying' salvage racks so they're still usable? EDIT: Okay, I got it... eventually. Here's how the salvage racks look in Dauntless Reverie's base now, still clickable: To get them clickable and also close together, they're sunk down into the floor such that the grayish chest on one clickable side of the racks (not the brown one at the end; the ends are NOT clickable for some reason!) is positioned facing the room with the keyhole just at floor level - there's enough clickable area above the box that the rack remains possible to use when the box lid is covered by those stone steps and the little bit of shelf that pokes through the wall is covered AS SHALLOWLY AS POSSIBLE with those tables that I've made into vault doors. To get them so close together, saving space, each rack is also rotated 10 degrees, so when they're overlapped one is distinctly in front of the other and that's the one that gets clicked when you're moused over itss corresponding vault door. Here is what it looks like from outside the map:
  16. That doesn't work. Right-clicking an object does rotate it 90 degrees, but with the entry portal you will still be deposited facing south no matter which way it's rotated. I wish it could be changed too!
  17. I always wonder if the fact that it's the name of a place ever figured into the show writers' thinking...
  18. My latest - an oldschool street fighter (StJ/Nin).
  19. Thanks for the plug :3
  20. I'm a RPer before all else, so to me, "downtime" is anytime people aren't present in my supergroup or coalition and talking IC. I spend a lot of that time base editing.
  21. For some time now I've wanted to put a glass roof over the swimming pool in my SG's base, but everything I tried looked really lackluster... and I have FINALLY landed on a design I'm happy with!
  22. You can exchange them at the Halloween vendors - one of each will get you an additional costume slot (one per customer), a spider vanity pet, or temporary NPC costume powers like the ones you get from Trick-or-Treat. The vendors are Annah in Croatoa, Granny Beldam in Nerva, and Acantha in Imperial City; they're all witches. Annah is the easiest to reach, as she's just outside the wall near the train station without any mobs to get between you and her.
  23. This too would be acceptable! Animation-wise, moving the male walk posture to the female (or huge) model would be not an easy task, I'm afraid, but giving us a Walk that uses the same animations we already have but an added transparency effect would be far easier...
  24. The fact that you get access to powers in your primary well before the same tier powers in your secondary is very significant when leveling and when sidekicking down for TFs and teaming - Brutes and Tanks have the same available sets and similar roles on a team, and can have exactly the same picks and slotting at level 50 overall, but the fact that they have to be taken in a different order means that (for example) when leveled down for a Penny Yin TF, the tank can Shield Charge but the brute can't. Maybe this isn't relevant to your play style (you might only interested in high-level content; I have no idea!) but it's certainly relevant to me!
  25. Walk. Let us put enhancements in it. Run and jump sets, specifically. Who cares about gameplay, build quality, or balance - I just want to be able to stick a stealth proc in it, so ghostly or otherwise transparent characters can stay that way during low-key RP 🙂
