  1. hey look another request so I'm doing the Revenant Hero arc and boy would the parts from this lab be neat to have! It looks like the following are all separate parts: 1) The incubation tubes 2) The suspended Green Blobby clones 3) The bubble effect (smaller and lighter than existing bubble effects - yes please, says everyone whose base has a fishtank in it, amirite?) 4) The fluid in the tubes (I see different levels) 5) The mounting sockets/arms for the tubes (may be base+arm separate, may be base+arms together in both closed and open positions - hope it's the former cause those arms could be versatile) Additionally it'd be cool to have: a) the floor-mounted base thingy (just imagine it placed around an ouro crystal!) b) the steam effect (different color and density from steam effects we have already, would be perfect for hot tubs, hot springs, and steam rooms) c) these slab things at the back of the room; can we say DIVING BOARD? d) Straight 'Tech Pipe' wires and four way junctions; I don't know why we don't have these already. So yeah, more stuff for the Villain Lairs tab if I ever saw it. If it's helpful, the response to /whereami returned the map name CREY_HERO_LAB, and /loc returned -3400.8 0.8 -182.1
  2. Whoof. I've been neglecting this thread's upkeep with regards to showing people what I've been doing. Anyway here's the latest - @LtZerge's Indusdryad:
  3. My Fortunata "blends in" to her surroundings by a psychic cloak that makes her about as relevant-seeming as a sofa, or a random pigeon in the park. If it were possible to do, I'd be in favor - however, I also understand it would take a lot of our development team's time and energy that I would sooner prioritize somewhere else.
  4. So this stuff in Pocket D isn't in the base editor yet and should be - Salt and pepper shakers! Shot glasses! Pint glasses, both empty and full! YES PLEASE! And we already have the vodka, rum, gin, and whiskey bottles, but THERE'S A BEER BOTTLE ON THAT TABLE TOO CAN WE HAVE IT PLEASE
  5. Chess board. The white parts and the border is made of four white wall cabinets (large white wall cabinets? I forgot). It's two pairs of them placed back to back, overlapped so the edge of the door forms the border and tilted by a fraction of a degree to prevent flickering. The black squares are the tops of the smallest dock post piece, which tiles nicely with itself when the grid is set to 1/4.
  6. I'll take Places My Main Will NOT Be Going for $500, Alex! Nice discovery 🙂
  7. In only three pages of posts, that must mean you're dropping your jaw multiple times per image 😛
  8. Talking about the base GrapeKat did that is like being inside a digestive tract.
  9. The bare hands as used with jacket sleeves rather than tight tops do have a couple texture matching issues when used with sleeves that end before the elbow. It's slightly less noticeable with some skin tones, but never completely absent.
  10. Looks like throwing a punch, and you speed-blur out of where you start and appear at the destination.
  11. I wonder if the default teleport animates in the same amount of time as the Sorcery one... because THAT animation is lovely, both with and without the rune circles, and I'd adore being able to use it for the actual teleport-centric pool (my dude isn't supposed to fly). In the same vein, the default animation doesn't look BAD to me per se, it just only works (for me) if I think of it as "Yeah, I just ripped open a hole in reality to push through" and that... doesn't work for everybody, but I wonder how it would look with the magic particles.
  12. So I'm already in another group that I don't want to leave on my main, but as it happens he's a Croatoa resident who's lived there for much of his long life and I'm always up for Moar Magic RP, especially if it's out in public. Hit me up sometime if you need an immortal teleporting librarian.
  13. That's the whole issue, I don't know which I prefer. If we ever get that Assault/Support AT that I and many others are hoping for, I don't care if I have him to 50 with a tricked-out build and everything by then, I'm gonna reroll him IMMEDIATELY.
  14. Ladies and gentlemen, I have a dilemma: I am playing a Carnival of Light character. He's an Energy/Kinetics corruptor (Energy for Carnie lightblasts, Kinetics shared with Primal main as major powerset). When he gets to level 35 and can pick an Epic/Patron pool, I then have the choice between either Mace Mastery with its best-acceptable-Carnie-Staff-stand-in or Primal Forces with its energy melee attacks that LightCarnies have. What do I do, folks?
  15. Body scanner from the Tech tab.
  16. hey so the Praetorian Wards have an awfully familiar color scheme for their primary ally groups
  17. A real-life photo of the stuff that goes on in this thread:
  18. They are a bit tricky that way, but I've never had a lot of trouble planning my rooms around them. What I like is that they're seamless, unlike the stairs we originally had, and if I need to turn it around at a landing, a pair of the larger, rectangular University Table pieces just happen to match the stair surface texture perfectly, so they're great for creating those.
  19. Okay, I've seen a lot of big fancy fireplaces and there's a gazillion ways to make them but I haven't found a lot of ways to make small, simple fireplaces. However, an idea struck me today, I tested it out, and it works great, so: 1) Chimney, on its side and sunk into the wall 2) Two Roman door frames, back to back to form the mantel and side columns 3) One small cement plate to cover the back wall 4) Brick wall corner to form chimney going up 5) Firepit (unlit) attached to Surface on the back wall of the fireplace, rotated and sunk down slightly, so the logs fit inside 6) The fire itself is one floor torch to provide actual light, and one "torch flame" effect emitter to increase apparent flame size without increasing brightness - I also found that the torch flame emitters, if turned upside down, emit the embers/sparks downward instead of upward so I did that too in order to avoid embers popping out of the fireplace Below is a 'cutaway' screenshot with the camera angled so you can see what's below the floor, for a better visual on how the logs are placed:
