I'm unsure why folks insist putting the +crit chance in an aoe. I need it for my ST chain against hard targets, not my aoe chain.

Clarification needed on this. A build for claws to maximize it at 50 may not exemplar well to low levels due to shockwave not being available until level 38 (33 exemplared.) Claws itself, however, exemplars wonderfully, and it is, quite frankly, one of the best all arounder sets in the game. I recently took my sr/claws tank to exemplar down to my new warshade's level of 28 doing her missions and got her to 32 because I was able to cruise around at +3/x8 even at lvl 28 thanks to a heavy recharge build with just followup, focus, slash and spin.

It's not being old that bothers me. It's the aging part that sucks. The slow degradation, the inexorable pull of gravity... it's not decomposition yet but it sure seems similar. There's a reason I drink.

See this now. They changed the Concealment pool to be considered a travel pool. So 8 of 12 pools now allow you to pick any of the first three powers as your first pick from the pool. Why not make that the rule for all of the pools?

Gotta admit I'm bummed about this. My fire/bio sent perma-hovers and the loss of extra flight speed here kinda sucks.

Got the PB all built. She's functional but clunky. Do get hit with the double-whammy of hasten's drop along with light form's drop causing dangerous issues with end. Alpha musculature is a must as damage output still feels kinda anemic, even with degen backing it up. But she can handle DA spawns at +1/x8 as long as I don't get too caught up in scrapperlock and miss clicking LF or EB or carefully watching health all the time. Would be nice if Inca Strike would get the Total Focus animation\cast reduction. Still working on unlocking destiny/lore/hybrid so it'll get better. Went mighty on judgement to keep with the knockup/down theme.

I hear ya. She's definitely a nostalgia build versus an effectiveness build. Like many of my newer alts after the insanity of the shield/em tank.....

It's not strange at all. It was a response to "if we allow this everyone will take fighting/cj/hasten/leadership," where I already always take fighting/cj/hasten/fly and sometimes drop fly for leadership. You're absolutely correct that no one is forcing me down that path but any other path leads to ... lesser builds.

I have a lowbie ar/dev blaster that I've been enjoying the hell out of... much has changed since I last tried that combo before the snap.

I've been asking for an assault/debuff Archetype for ages with the debuffs all being pbaoe and acting like armor. I see no reason that you couldn't also go manipulation/debuff along the same lines.

I like compromise but unfortunately I don't care for the offerings of the newer pools beyond sorcery and even then it's only to get rune of protection which I've pretty much given up on and instead go down the cheat code path with defense amplifiers for mez protection.

Why doesn't the reverse count? Meaning, if it allows me to take provoke instead of some other throw-away power that I don't even bother sticking an enhancement in, why would that be bad?

Huh. PermaLF with net gain on end rec even during crash period. PermaEB for 1856HP before accolades. Overcapped DR to all but Psi. Heal every 17secs. Hasten 2 seconds shy of perma. Absolutely zero KB in build. Wut.... Lousy defense but kinda don't think that's gonna matter much. EDIT: Lots of slows might be problematic. Already in the plan. (Already have a kb to kd on dark detonation on the WS.) I do love bouncing the baddies. And, yes, I'm still eyeballin Air Superiority on both of my Khels for more bouncy goodness. But we'll see.

I watched carefully and think is was the endrec debuff from LF's crash which isn't quite perma on top of heavy fighting eating the rest of the end. Great info, yall. Thanks much.
