Items I'm considering: Go ageless to make up for the end loss of choosing soul mastery instead of body/nrg mastery. Take gloom/moonbeam and darkest night. DN's -dam and more DPS from gloom/moonbeam sound very appealing. On BZB tank, the autohit fluffy could never get me below 800 HP. I dropped to 700 at one point due to something else getting a lucky hit in. Adding a damage debuff on top of all of that would be very cool, but losing physical perfection sounds freaking awful to me right now. For a scrapper? Man, I dunno. Buffed enemies freakin hurt.

Damnit, man, don't make me think even more about going soul mastery on my BZBs. Gloom/moonbeam and darkest night are lookin real good these days.

OK, @Werner Add me to the list. 49mins was afk but that's still a horrible time. Guess it's time to use the same respec on the brute and scrapper although I'm damn near sure BZB scrap can't pull this off no matter what I do.

... This is ... glorious. Edit: The tech for this is already in the game. You turn this toggle on and as with Khel shapeshifting, it locks you out of all other attacks. And like Judgement Vorpal, you don't need a target, it just hits whatever is in front of you. And it doesn't root you so you can just hop into a spawn and spin around. I want this so bad.

Hasten's duration is 2 minutes. PB's duration is 2 minutes. Hasten gets the autoclick and it tells me when to click PB so PB only has a single end-red in it. Slot saved!

Regardless of my other feelings on randomness in the game, I think it would do us all a grave disservice to remove the foundational fact of rolling a 1 on a 20 sided die is a fumble.

You're not wrong. There's a reason I slot attuned IOs as soon as I'm able.

Because they're ONLY used in AE. That's it. Spines sucks everywhere else. Edit: Hell, I don't even use it in AE. My farmer is fa/claws.

Looks like you don't have lucky and evasion fully slotted up.

This is the only thing that jumped out at me. SR gets capped DDR without elude on tanks, brutes and scrappers. Matter of fact, elude is just plain useless. Edit for major typo.

I play for the piles of murdered bodies. I get enough randomness from crits and procs and the RNG.

Random over time becomes not random at all. Still doesn't mean I want to deal with energy transfer sometimes taking half as long as the rest of the time.

I would. But I'd also be one of those arguing against those changes. I'll try anything. Doesn't mean it's a good idea.

Probably was but I sure was a happy camper after Castle and BAB did their rework. Nowadays, I'd rather have balance because it often leads to good things for the majority.

Based on several posts on this page, looks like Power Boost is a problem but that really shouldn't be a surprise to anyone that uses it. I only have one request for all future changes/balances/buffs/nerfs/etc... can I get in closed testing? 🙂

Roger that. Just found it. I'm not sure what happened back then anymore either. I once had all the notes but they went poof along with all my attack chain spreadsheets. If I'm going to be honest, based on what happened on beta with BZB and a pylon, and the rework they had to do because of it and other testing, a bad AoE calc makes sense. Edit: Just want to throw this in... (and, no, this is not in any way directed at Bopper) Claws is my favorite melee attack set. And yet I'm ok with a nerf if it means that the underlying equations gain balance and equity. This comes from me not being in the "screw you, I got mine" camp of life.

Either you or @Bopperhave the cast time corrected equations that were used for the claws overhaul?

Took me 4 months to solo BZB to 50 the first time around. And even then, it wasn't 100% solo. Unsure if Issue 2 dropped before I got there or not.

I'm a recharge junkie. Gimme my 50% from 5xPurps-5piece and 37.5% from 5xLotG+recharges.

Except for spines/regen. <shudder>

I've got a tricked out mace/bio scrapper. She does hit VERY hard but it takes lots of recharge to get there. Nice AoE and knock mitigation rounds the set out well.
