  8. Now I'm forced to ask, why do you consider fire/time OP with so many faceplants? Full disclosure: I have yet to solo the MLTF because I use the same rules I use on the ITF. Max diff, no insps, no temps, no faceplants. So I always fail.
  9. Also, easy to test. Hop on your Sent and Veat and eat purples until combat monitor for defense turns blue. 175% for Sentinels 200.38% for VEATS

  11. ALL incarnate levels enemies have a tohit bonus of +13.75%. So for all incarnate enemies, the softcap is 45+13.75 or 58.75%, rounded up by usually everyone to 59%. The defense hard caps ARE different for different archetypes. Brutes/Tanks = 225.05% Kheldian/Scrappers/Stalkers = 200.38% Everybody else: 175% This does not include specific enemies with tohit buffs. Any tohit buff on any attack from any enemy changes the softcap the player must reach to bring said enemy back to the floor where floor = all accuracy buffs from rank and level and specific powers * 5%.
  12. Wut? Now that IS insane. What good is the Gaussian CFBU in freaking tactics to me when I'm soloing an AV compared to the +damage from BU? That's crazy talk right there. I see what they're going for here and agree. I could increase my character's ST DPS, ALL of them, by making different build choices which would absolutely involve a loss in mitigation. They would become characters with which I wouldn't want to play the normal game. Edit again: As for the OP, yea, I can agree with what's stated there.

  14. If 45% defense = 90% resistance and tanks/brutes cap at 90%, with kheldians capping at 85%, with everything else capping at 75%, then why aren't you pushing for defense cap values of 45% for brutes and tanks, 42.5% for kheldians and 37.5% for everyone else?

  19. I think you're right. It only has a single 50+5 basic end-red in it. Probably took it for when the defense buffs get too high on Cimeroran stacking and planned to ignore it otherwise.
  20. It could but you'd have to use different AT IOs in Total Focus and Energy Transfer, plus the brute has lower base numbers for armors so you'll have to take that into account as well.
  21. Here's my shield/nrg tank. Flight already in place. I've thought about making scrapper/brute versions of her as I did with my main claws/sr but never got around to it. Brute will push out more damage (but tank to brute is closer than brute to scrapper these days) and be squishier (as scrapper to brute is closer than brute to tank on mitigation.)
  22. Not at all. Like I said, I've got 20 or so I enjoy playing. The rest kinda suck for some reason or another.
  23. Thanks to the extra recharge from Nrg Aura, my DB/Nrg just runs BF, SS, AS, repeat for her ST chain. No combo in use at all so no need of VS so it got skipped entirely. Same for NS. I'd share my build but it currently has Focused Accuracy and playing her yesterday had me wondering why I bothered to take it.
  24. Can be used for aggro control assistance? Check. -21% damage debuff for up to 16 targets? Check. -10.5% tohit debuff also for up to 16 targets? Check. Yea, and since adding gloom to any attack chain makes it much better, soul mastery is one of those pools it's hard to say no to.
