What the pro-insp/pro-temp crowd misses is that what you're using to bring regen up to tolerable can also be used by everyone else. The performance difference stays the same. Regen stays dead last. Regen continues being the set where you get to spend vastly more time clicking insps/temps/Rune and its ilk while the rest of us spend those clicks killing things. I can use the regen mindset while playing a blaster, too. Doesn't mean regen is worth a shit.

Planned obsolescence is very common in capitalism. Hell, it's why I still smoke.

Seconded. When my 750W died, I replaced it with a 1000W for an nvidia 1080 vid card and a board that dates back to 2013. WAAAY overkill, yes, but future proofs me for if I do bite the bullet and go full ram/mb/vid/proc replacement.

About 75% of the desktop market. But linux is creeping up to 2.5%!

Did he say why? Needing a better power supply, I get... but a board that can run a 1080 should be able to handle a 3080 just fine as far as I can tell. Oh wait... PCIe v3 vs v4. Should still work and be an upgrade but it won't be able to push the card as well as it should. Also, crap. My MB is also PCIe v3. Thanks for making me look. Guess it's whole new rig time. Edit: For me, I mean. And really... it's just new MB, proc, ram and 3080 that I'll need. Did more digging... : "As of right now, performance improvements to be had when using the RTX 3080 on a PCIe 4.0 interface are very small at best, and in many cases are simply non-existent." Soooo... woot!

But that's just it for me... this game offers so much but often times looks blah to me. Granted, I am an eyecandy junkie and know it. But to see this world rebuilt fully in something like Unreal5 where fire can char skin and claws can cause intestines to fall out of stomachs? Describing my physical reaction to such a thing would break forum rules.

There was an exploit a while back that allowed folks to get AE mission complete bonuses no matter where they were, what zone they were in, etc. We really don't need more problems like that. So... yea... no.

Much as I love the animation style used for Arcane, I'm in the opposite boat. I'd like to see full tilt photo realism with appropriate gore levels.

Meh to proc builds. Too much reliance on being 50 with ageless. Too much reliance on end rec and acc from other sources. Yea, I see the final numbers, but they'll never fit with my playstyle of 100% efficiency regardless of exemplared level.

Claws/Regen Scrapper (no really, don't do this) Emp/Nrg Defender (no, really, pls don't do this) Dark/Dark Defender (yea, it rocks, I don't have one, why bother?) Claws/* cuz claws is fuckin awesome... yea, do this.

No one is safe from the certain end. All we can do is learn to love it, be ready for it, and get trashed AF on the way. 🙂

Nice. Think I sit @1:30 with fu-focus-swipe-repeat on my claws/bio but just as with BZB, it ain't clean without ageless. Not even sure I ever tested with ageless.
