  1. Same case. Blaster would actually do better post 50 than 1-50. (Edit: But still won't be able to touch the solo speed of a meleer.) When you can hit max diff and not die at 30, you're going to pull way ahead of those that can't on leveling speed.
  2. 3 vetlvls per hour solo in Dark Astoria with BZB scrap. Granted, that's fully kitted out and T4ed. I don't see blasters pulling that off. I also don't see any blaster soloing faster than any scrapper/brute solo from 1 to T4ed. I honestly have to call complete BS on that. Hell, even a tank will probably solo faster than a blaster just due to mez protection and being able to crank the diff up far earlier. Zerging for mission complete can't hold a candle to max diff clear all XP. Blasters rock at 50 after they've got all the cheat powers in place. Until then? Nah, they'll be wasting far too much time bouncing between mission and hospital/base while meleers are cranking through without issue.
  3. Specifically from the three passives. With all three, starting at 60% health, the resist scales up to 60% at 0 health. Throw in a fully slotted tough and then set bonuses for more and you start hitting ridiculous levels of resists while still being softcapped with capped DDR. Well built and played, it's cruise control immortality. Some notes: the scaling resists from the passives do NOT include psi protection. All other damage types are covered (toxic was recently added.) But many psi attacks have a positional component, so those get covered by your defenses and you can again shore that up with set bonuses should you desire.

  5. At first, I was left wondering why I would need high tech roller blades to fight a gang but then couldn't figure out how I'd get them over the hooves. I then realized my reading failure.
  6. But Sent SR's passive scaling resists go to 80% instead of 60% for the meleers. ... while capping at 75% which makes total sense...

  8. I still don't. Much like the tank buff, where you're left with too much damage output in comparison to the mitigation you have, going procmonster is easily covered with Ageless, Tactics-FocAcc and HOs while still benefiting from a ridiculous level of general power creep from set bonuses and incarnate abilities. And if you want to solo a Posi you just use a second build.

  13. My fire/bio sent managed it at max diff, no faceplants. Can't recall if it was also no temps/insps. Hover blasting kept me alive but the main problem was low DPS on top of AVs running all over the damn map. Pretty sure the time was around 3.5 hours. For comparison, my shield/nrg tank does it in 1.5.
  14. It does. As does irradiated ground. Should have specified it as secondary damage auras. Still dumb. Hell, Burn should crit. Ain't holdin my breath for it, though.
  15. Plus base crits and the even higher crit values as the two scrapper ATOs come into play. Edit: Ooops, nevermind. Crits don't come into play with damage auras for some stupid reason.
  16. Yea, it's a chasm. Easier to have fun with it when you can turn off the analysis. I get the drive to cut the edge but ya gotta find a balance.

It is damn good for that. 🙂 Edit: When I was doing that swipe-only scrapper, I rebound tab to targetenemynear (unsure if that's right) and have been wondering ever since why that wasn't my default... Edit2: I remembered... can't quickly tab through a spawn to see what's there. But still... damn fun on melee cuz we don't care.
