  1. I have a Bio/TW tank. Lot of fun to play. Doesn't require a lot of attacks , I picked T2,3,4,5,7, and 9. Only need momentum for t9. Pretty easy to keep all minions, most Lt's, and some bosses on the ground
  2. This is not a good idea. All other melee toons would become significantly tougher, blappers would fear nothing. Other supports lose a degree of usefulness. A team of these could T4 incarnates in a day. Only way it would work is to severely nerf both sets and that would bring a different set of requests.
  3. I'm having a hard time finding my way with my pyro/savage dom. I believe these two sets just don't get along with each other. I'm at level 27,my hope is to have a clue to what I'm doing by 30
  4. Get all the toggles, play a Staff/Bio Scrapper. Only have played one Mastermind past level 10, they are a Demon/Fire. Kinetic Melee is fun on a scrapper as long as you frontload your heavy attacks. Veats are my favorites to play. Yes it is expensive to have multi-builds, but is nice to be ready for anything.
  5. If The Matrix has me then I'm working for The Merovingian. Maybe my Dual Blade/ Nin Scrapper can alter things for the boss. Toss in Stealth, Experimentation, and Mu Mastery I'd make short work of Neo.
  6. Had a lot of fun with a Beam/Rad Sentinel, get to pretend I'm big dps until a blaster shows up. Maybe a Rad/Dark Sentinel lot of -tohit and ignoring defense
  7. Playing a Time/Rad defender, it has been a slog to 41. Several times I wanted to delete, but didn't for one reason or another. Before that I had a Dark/Poison controller, that was very hard as it was my first controller. I love playing defenders, but it appears that I struggle picking powersets.
  8. Ice/Ice blaster is one of the best controllers in the game or at least the one I made is. I have a Ice/Marine corrupter that I think I have worked out for me, pity it took 50 levels to get there. My ice/ice tanker is very much an experiment a friend asked to me to make, I can't recommend it now, but that may change later.
  9. No mention of Paragon Protectors, Longbow Wardens, or my personal choice Wailer Queens
  10. That is a better idea, something different, but still with Pets.
  11. How about a support/pet AT? Could call it a Buffmeister. That might need work shopping
  12. I've made a lot of veats, can't recall ever taking combat: offensive. You will struggle until level 24, but things will get better. I don't like King's Row, try to avoid it as long as I can. Do a Positive 1&2 that should get you close to Yin tf.
  13. Don't build a Stalker, think Scrapper first. Don't add slots to Hide, one is enough for a defense mule enhancement Use your second most powerful attack out of Hide, activation time on Assassin Strike is excessive. All Knives of Vengeance, Rikti Drones, Arachnos Executioners, and maybe something else can all see through Hide Hide has a flat 8 second cooldown before re-hide unless the ATO enhancement procs.
  14. I was playing a blaster one day, when a brute asked me to test his brute in pvp. I was hitting him with everything i had and picking up loss after loss until he told me about Ablative Carapace. I used it as an OH Shit power, but from then to now it became the focus of all my Bio toons, always 6 slotted.
  15. I have a 50 KM/Willpower Scrapper that is very different from all my other melee builds. I front loaded my attacks heavy to light, nothing sucks more than hitting a corpse. A crit with Concentrated Strike instantly recharges Power Siphon making it easier to stack. I skipped T2 and Force Torrent.
  16. I prefer form over function. Because I can't think of a static 8 that could complete everything, besides I haven't done everything in the game and have failed at parts. 8 veterans have a better chance of success with a broken team over 8 rookies playing a perfectly balanced team. Warshade Dual blade/Dark scrapper Kin/beam defender Dual build Bane soldier/Crab soldier Fire/Fire dominator Stone/radiation tanker Demon/Thermal mastermind Energy/energy blapper
  17. There's a map in the Night Ward Magician's arc that I duoed with a lvl 50 when I was new to Homecoming. All the walls are invisible so I was constantly looking at the map to see when I stopped so I could turn the corner into groups that made light work of me. Did that one mission and quit for the day.
  18. As an exercise, I tried to make a rage less tank paired it with shield. I failed gigantically. Then I put everything into mitigating the crash. Maybe I'm just lucky and finish missions before, but I've yet to die because of a crash.
  19. Add Kalissti Wharf as a destination for the outbound Ouroborus portal maybe after completing a Market Crash.
  20. Got an outside the box choice. My electric/time controller is boring as hell solo, but I usually go +2/4x to keep it interesting. In a group, I barely have to do anything to make life easier.
  21. My dark/ss tank has been an uphill struggle. I don't know if I can choose because I'll surely get it wrong
  22. Only have 1 MM, Demon/Thermal. Was rough from the start because I didn't know what I was doing. The more I learned the easier it was to keep my hands off. Could use some advice on how to do Itrails besides BAF.
  23. I like chasing windmills so my favorite scrapper is kinetic/Regen. It was tough at first, but around level 20 I flipped my attack chain heavy first. That made everything better.
  24. On my phone so I can't look at your build. When it comes to stacking leadership, I always stack one power because only soldiers & widows can so it's a small sacrifice. You could also make a second fortunate build that takes 2x maneuvers and/or assault or tactics. I usually limit myself to 6 melee and 3 ranged attacks. Five ranged and 3 melee on fortunatas
