modify the SYNAPSE TF so that at the end of it, as a "spoilsport" option that the Clockwork King had set up in case of defeat, the ish 24 paladin event launches and Paladin is on a rampage. Defeat the emitters then bring down Paladin. OR: Similar to the Malta arc that spawns KRONOS, a Clockwork story arc could be developed that culminates in the spawning in KR of the ish24/post shutdown version of the Paladin event. The classic Paladin event that was recently restored will remain intact and unaffected by this. The story arc spawning of Paladin would not be affected by the rule that only 3 Paladin's can be spawned by the random KR event.

Vidiot Maps had the spots marked on the map long before the lights went out, and I have been observing many a player posting in the chat channels about the classic Paladin event now that is back and where to find the Paladin construction sites. So here is a pic of the vidiot map and I have added a notation on it of the symbol of the construction sites. Remember: the badge is only awarded if you STOP the Paladin from being built. Destroy a rampaging Paladin and you get merits. Also once built, the Paladin tends to head North in the general direction of Hyde Park. Things to note: The Paladin cannot attack until it is built, you need to smash all clockwork trying to build it and keep blasting the incomplete Paladin until it is destroyed. If the Paladin is built, the construction site is still "active" and will not spawn another one until the previous one is defeated. There are 3 Construction sites, and if there are 3 Paladin's stomping around no new Paladin events can start. There are 3 spawn points. One is in the southwest corner, around an electrical tower just bordering a warehouse. (513.0, -42.0, 2787.9) One is towards the middle of Kings Row, and is in the large electrical complex. (-1639.7, -42.0, 1729) The final one is in the northeast, just south of Royal Refinery, near the spherical silos. (-2865.3, -42.0, -506.9)

Use Mender Ramiel's first mission, you are unkillable. Get all the ghosts of the AVs to surround you. Control+left click your incarnate judgement power to auto fire every time it recharges.

-1 x8 is fine. Main thing is the smoke they emit when defeated like Rikti monkeys. Also watch out for the waves of full grown paragon protectors At the x8 setting you will get 55 of the immature clones.

For those that remember the laser rifle that Optimus and Rodimus Prime wielded or Megatron/Galvatron's arm cannon, or the giant guns wielded by a gestalt robot or the giant guns wielded by Metroplex then you now see what I have in mind. This power set would be for blasters, sentinels, and corruptors.

Please remind me how to get the Knight Errant badge.
Voltor replied to Col. Kernel's topic in Badges
To be honest, this whole thing with the Paladin event, original vs the new one, is an example of ""if it isn't broken, don't fix it" As much as I liked the new version and mapped out where the emitters were, I did prefer the original one that we have once again. -
The new arc is the only pace for them. However do this: make an alt on a drone account, get it to L25 and teh first money badge to unlock Doc Buzzsaw. Do Doc's original 2 arcs and she will tell you to come back at L30. Get the alt to 30 and talk to her again and you have the new arc. Send the alt/drone through the missions until you get the Crey mission. KEEP THE CREY MISSION. It only ends if the boss on the first floor plus the boss in the last room is defeated and all glowies clicked. Then just go to the last room, defeat that boss to spawn the ambushes and the immature clones, you can farm the Womp Womp and Infiltrator badges with ease. Set to 8 spawn and you can get 55 immature clones in one run.
-
I've the run arc many times, you can blow up the boss in mission 1 and still get the badge. The injured cops spawn in random spots on the two floors. use the target macro and carefully check around all elevator doors, check each office and room on the floors. It is easy to miss one as you do need to be close enough for the macro to target them.

Back on live and even now I have always thought that 10 bombs for the badge and 10 defeats of U'kon for that badge were a tad excessive. So my suggestion would be this: 5 bombs for the badge, 5 defeats of U'kon for Master at Arms badge, and also change the Welcome to Earth badge for the drop ship to defeat 5 drop ships for the badges. Thus the 3 badges are equalized. Of course this does not mean that those with the badges already have to lose them, as I know some would think that could happen. If you have the badges already you keep them.

[Focused Feedback] Paladin Event
Voltor replied to Faultline's topic in [Open Beta] Focused Feedback
Correct, Back on live if all 3 Paladins were stomping around no new events would occur. This happened a lot as the goal was to STOP paladin being built and people didn't want to smash the completed Paladin. If I found them and couldn't get a team together I would just drone them to reset the event. -
Womp-Womp Badge for the immature Paragon Protector clones New badge from ish 27 On a drone account, power level a drone alt to Level 25 and make sure it has the first money badge. Flip the alignment of the alt to redside if it isn't already. Doc Buzzsaw should now be unlocked. Burn through the two Mission Arcs of Doc Buzzsaw and they will then tell you to come back at level 30. Power level the drone to 30 and send it back, now you should have the new story arc that they offer which is the only way to get the Womp Womp badge. Go through the missions until you get to the one where you go to Cap Au Diable to rob the Crey. That is the mission to keep. Do not click all glowies and do not defeat the boss on the first floor. Head up the elevators to the last level, take out the boss in the room,, and the immature clones will spawn. Set your spawn size to 8 and you should get Womp Womp in 2 or 3 runs of the mission. Also the mission can be good for farming the regular paragon protectors.

You are quite correct. We currently have 1549 active badges to get in the game, and while I do have a pattern I use on how to get them --as I am sure others with multiple hunters do -- it still takes time to get them all. It's one thing to double back to get a couple of new badges on the hunters that are complete, but glutting us with hundreds of new badges is something we do not need. Malta Sappers: nice Nemesis Jaegers and Warhulks: nice Rularuu: two new defeat badges: easily obtained but not nice New login badge for the yearly winter event: Nice Just add new story arcs once in awhile that offer some badges, or else add a new badge for completing an older arc like the recent one for Frostfire. Also perhaps a login badge each year when you log an alt in during the Halloween Event, similar to the winter event login badge? Also there are some legacy errors on some badges from live that I wouldn't mind seeing fixed: The Mu Guardian and Raider Engineer gladiator badges have their tracking meters, but the description of each badge just shows as ??? When hunting for Prisoners for the Warden badge and the gladiator badge, the gladiator badge description states you need 100 bosses but the tracking meter shows you need 200.

If there is a badge added for hamidon kills, I hope the LGTF Hamidon counts as well for it. Also 100 hami kills for a badge........NO. Make it 50 instead. 500 Mothership defeats? no 100 pylons? eh 10 raids should do that as well as the bomb and GM badge for the raids. Also does anyone think that both on live and now that the badge requirements for bombs and the GM in MSR is a bit too high? If they were reduced to 5 instead of 10 I wouldn't mind.

Sappers: I just run the Peregrine safeguard mission over and over. Stop the robbery, clear out sappers, do the side missions for those badges too.

For the buddy badge:
-
Team size setting wont matter on Cole's personal mission. Amount of Toxic and Mu Guards that spawn is random, sometimes none. But I do like using that mission to finish the Mu Guardian Badge, Fortunata badge, and Toxic badge. Also the flyers do not count towards Heat Seeker

Well as soon as Legendary badge activated this past evening, my alts were all flipped around and now they all have the badge. Alts that were missing Anniversary badges have now visited Luna. End result: Who is the one with SIX alts with all 1549 badges? My humble self, indeed! -
Thanks! I did ask about wormhole, it is working as intended. Once upon a time on live, wormhole did warp the Mitos, but the devs changed that. I think at the time wormhole also worked in Hami raids but I cannot recall for sure.

PROJECT S.H.F. Data for Project S.H.F. as follows: After much investigation/experimentation trial and error I have discovered and refined a process for Solo Hamidon Farming. This process isn't exactly easy, but with refinement the process has been streamlined and successfully completed with ALL the Archetypes. Some easier then others, of course. Things needed for main badge farmer: 1. L50+ 2. Lore pets, longbow or BP, T3 or T4 3. Hybrid T3 or T4 though further refinements show hybrid may not be as needed but good to have 4. red inspirations of any kind 5. ultimate inspiration is optional, not really needed 6. A drone on a second account on a second PC that is a TANK, preferably granite rooted with self teleportation and taunt. The rooted power prevents knock-back and stun which are vital when hamidon starts blasting. Note: if your badge-hunter is a brute or a tank or a Peacebringer/Warshade that can use Dwarf mode then a tank drone isn't really needed. For the other AT's, use a tank drone. 7. A drone on a third account, on a third PC with Gravity power set and a fully slotted WORMHOLE power!!! This is a mandatory power to perform this farm, no other teleportation power will work on Hamidon. This has been quintuple checked and verified. No wormhole = no farm Also I checked and confirmed that wormhole is working as designed on this mission. 8. essence of the Earth inspirations for main badge hunter and drone tank, easily bought on the A.H. These are of course, mandatory 9. Wakes and break frees for the gravity toon, EoE wont shield it much when the time comes to wormhole Hami. 10, any temp power that spawns an attack pet, such as build snowman, shivan shard, amy's ward, kight errant, etc. Special notation: having the temp power to summon a signature hero will greatly enhance the destruction of the Hami. Remember, Hami will be warped away from the Mitos, he is easily destroyed. It is recommended that the drone tank and main badger each summon a signature character. Statesman, B.A.B., Positron all highly recommended, but each character can only summon one at a time each. So both could summon Positron for example. Signature summon pets greatly reduce the need for reds and hybrid Be sure to have gone through the above steps. Procedure for farm is as follows: 1. Form team with main badger as lead and then the two drones. Leave drones parked near door to mission 4 2. Difficulty at +0 or -1, team size leave at 1. 3. Play through Missions 1, 2 and 3 of LGTF. Standard strategies for the missions, fail mission 1 and 3 to speed things along. 4. All toons enter mission 4. Mission 4 Solo Hami Farm steps. 1. All pylons must be removed, you can either destroy them one by one or use wormhole and warp them far away from Hamidon. If they are taken far enough away, the pylon beam shuts off. I have found it to be quicker to just blow them up. 2. do not wipe out the rikti, ignore them. Just get rid of the pylons. 3. Once pylons are down, park badger and tank drone behind some rocks. 4. Gravity drone enters the goo, targets Hamidon and starts using Wormhole. First Wormhole takes it to edge of goo field. Second wormhole removes it from the goo field, however the goo field will reform around hamidon in a few minutes. Now, use more wormholes to send Hami towards the rocks near where other toons are parked. This puts hamidon out of range of the yellow mitos so they wont attack when you attack Hamidon. Also place Hamidon in such a way that a group of Rikti is in visual range of the fight, but not aggro'd to attack Hami. See below data on Hami bud spawn 5. Spawn all available attack pets, drone tank goes into granite/rooted, uses an EoE, sets taunt to auto, teleports near hami and targets it for taunts. Monitor drone and use more EoE as needed. Once Hami is taunted, main badger uses an EoE and moves in with all their pets spawned. 6. With signature summon pets adding their awesome power, Hamidon should drop very fast. I have destroyed hami in only a couple of minutes to as fast as 30 seconds this way. (2 positrons blasting Hami is great!) Keep all pets and characters where Hami explodes also move gravity drone in as well to be near explosion. Hamibuds will spawn after Hami has exploded and should be right where you are standing, along with some near Rikti group that was left in visual range. Destroy all hami buds! 100 needed for Buddy badge. Note: blowing up Hami like this and harvesting the buds while any mitos are left intact does NOT END THE MISSION Once buds are all wiped out, all toons log out with main badger being last out and first one back in (this helps to ensure mission resets) Repeat above steps for mission 4 until badge dings. See below for data on Hami bud spawns: 1. They spawn after Hami is destroyed, destroying Mitos not required and will keep mission from ending. 2. team size setting does NOT AFFECT hami bud spawn rate. This has been quintuple checked. 3. What DOES affect Hami bud spawn rates is how many "threats" to Hamidon are nearby when it explodes. "threats" are: player characters, their attack pets, and nearby Rikti. The more pets and nearby Rikti the better. Players that are defeated before Hami exploded and have not revived do not affect spawn rate. 4. Hami Bud spawn amount is always random but the more "threats" as noted above will help increase chance of more buds. The most I have had spawn has been 16. 5. Buds that spawn near the Rikti should be eliminated first, they will likely take down the Rikti but it is good to take this group of buds first then move back to where Hami exploded and wipe out remaining buds. Note: when Hami is taken out of the goo field, the goo field will reform around in it in a short time. Here are links to classic paragonwiki that show the temp powers that spawn attack pets and how to get them. https://archive.paragonwiki.com/wiki/Clockwork_Connection https://archive.paragonwiki.com/wiki/Amy's_Ward https://archive.paragonwiki.com/wiki/Warwolf_Whistle (obtained from Peebles in Striga Arc #3) https://archive.paragonwiki.com/wiki/Longbow_Mech_(Power) https://archive.paragonwiki.com/wiki/Shivan_Shard https://archive.paragonwiki.com/wiki/Build_Snow_Beast https://archive.paragonwiki.com/wiki/Arachnos_Combat_Radio https://archive.paragonwiki.com/wiki/Creeper_Seed https://archive.paragonwiki.com/wiki/Loa_Bone https://archive.paragonwiki.com/wiki/Rikti_Drone https://archive.paragonwiki.com/wiki/Summoning_Amulet https://archive.paragonwiki.com/wiki/Arachnos_Mini_Blaster Now imagine for a moment how many Buds you MIGHT get if you had a team of either 8 controllers or 8 masterminds with all their regular pets spawned, plus lore pets, plus all the temp power attack pets........................... Addendum: don't bother trying to wormhole or use any other teleport power on the Mitos. Also a reminder: the pylons have to be taken down or you cannot wormhole the Hamidon.

For me it was a matter of breaking the badges down into the following categories: 1. Team Mandatory: incarnate trial badges fall into this category. Attempting to solo the i-trials is, to me, not worth the hassle. 2. More efficiently obtained on a team. Example: The Recluse AV badges and pillbox badges. Solo is possible but more efficient on a team. 3. Easily soloed. Many badges fall into this category. Then I have 2 sub-categories: Speed bump and Royal Pain. Whether a team badge or a solo badge, some badges get this sub category also. Royal Pain: Dreamwalker badge from MoM itrial. Speed bump: Money badge #6 and the hamidon Buddy badge. Fortunately I figured out a great way to spawn and harvest the hami buds. One day I'll finish and post my badge classification list.
