Absolutely a Thieves' World reference, loved those books. Since there wasn't much out there at the time, I went with taking all the primary and secondary powers in the build to see what they all could do. While I do plan at some point to respec, and drop placate and pick up combat jumping, I have been pleasantly surprised with how good this build has been so far. This is my first stalker and I have to say, it is definitely one of my favorite characters. Shadowspawn - Stalker (Dark Melee).mxd

Welcome to Homecoming hero. Since you pointed out you prefer range, as a new player I would also recommend sentinels. They are ranged with great defense, making them a good starter character to get your feet wet and understand the game mechanics. Once you learn more about the game you will probably have a better idea of what you really want to play ultimately. You have 1000 character slots per sever, so skies is the limit.

It also sounds like an all T4 incinerate ITF team, choo-choo.
-
If I saw someone advertising a stream-roller TF, I would think it's a speed run as well. Which is what it sounds like it would be. The current terms do seem to be speed, kill most and kill all. Keep in mind not everyone here are vets, or remember some of those kind of things anymore.

You can use the LFG tab to teleport around. Open the tab, lock the group at the bottom, and que up for a TF or trial, and it will take you to the contact.

Well the very first thing you should do is train, you won't get incarnate exp until you do. Next is unlock your alpha for sure, but then you want to get the power you slot there to the 3rd level, or tier. This will give you a level shift for all content, making you effectively level 51. Doing this for your lore and destiny slots will each give you another two level shifts making you fight as level 53, but only for incarnate content. The other thing you should work on is the four passive accolade which will give you perment increases to you health and endurance.

I find farming to be very boring, but it is handy for supporting my other characters and to fund my marketeering. I'll craft all my recipe drops (since I don't sell my salvage or recipes) and convert them for sale on the AH, or keep them for other characters. My farmer is like my game quartermaster. I still do regular hami raids, so between the merits and what the farmer makes, I can support my other characters very well.

OP I Seer what you did here with your Mother Mayhem. You created a Carnival of Shadows which is causing a Freakshow. You have all of our Synapse firing. I might have to go see Dr. Quarterfield, but that would take Tsoo long and before you know it's Midnighters.

Bombardment Range increase working? Bug?

I would think the 5% is all your going to get, unless you slot 2 into another power. -
Seriously: Alt-itis, What To Do? A Discussion on Self-Control
Dazl replied to tripthicket's topic in General Discussion
I can understand the urge for alt-its. I have about 20 level 50's, and about 30 sub 50's. What broke me from the alt treadmill was finding characters I really liked that hooked me into not really wanting to play the other ones so much. I have about 5 characters I play all the time. So between iTrials, TF's, Hami raids, and Ouro mission arcs, I keep those characters very busy. I've also worked hard to build them out properly which makes them more fun to play and gives me a goal to work to. My biggest surprise love is my Dark/Dark stalker. Maybe if you focused on building up one or two characters for a while and running stuff you haven't been doing due to the alt treadmill, that might at least break up the rut you find yourself in. -
Welcome home. Sorry it took you a while to find it, but you will find it better than ever.

You might want to try the Reconnect forum, https://forums.homecomingservers.com/forum/47-reconnect/.

It might be a good idea to check the AT forums at least. This will give you some good info about power sets so you can get a better idea of how certain combos work or don't work. You should still play what you want, but knowing what to expect going in might save some frustration.

This isn't to hard. When you get to the last part of the map look for the Tsoo with the chat bubble saying something like someone has invaded the warehouse.
-
As long as your T3 you will be fine. T4 isn't mandatory, but it is good to have eventually.

One of the reward options for the hami is 4 emp merits. Just like the first time 80 merit reward you can only get it once every 20 hours or so.

Wow, ok if the 32% bonus for the lvl 25 basic IO isn't good enough for you as the 33.3% for the lvl 50 SO, then wait till you can get the lvl 30 basic IO and get the 34%..
-
A lvl 25 BASIC IO, is almost the same as a lvl 50 SO. Why would you NEED to upgrade it? You can ride it all the way to lvl 50, then you can start working on sets. The one time cost of a BASIC IO, is going to be less expensive than constantly upgrading SO's till lvl 50, to get something that is the same as that lvl 25 BASIC IO. You can probably get basic IO's pretty cheap on the AH, since people craft them for badges. If you need more inf then just do the zone exploration badge runs and get 5 merits for each zone, turn them into enhancement converters and sell those in the AH.
-
Don't buy DO, or SO's, they are inf sinks. When you hit 22 start buying basic IO's from the auction house or craft them. They are the same as lvl 50 SO's and you never out level them. When you hit 50 you will want to consider getting proper sets of IO's, or work on the ones you want as you go if you know what your final build will be. A way to make a quick 1.2 million inf is to get all the exploration badges in Atlas Park, this wiki link has the locations https://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Hero_Exploration_Badges. Use the P2W vendor get the jump pack and ninja run, and you will be able to get to all of them. Once you have them all you will get 5 merits. Go into the city hall and use the merit vending machine and buy 15 enhancement converters and sell them on the auction house. You will get these 5 merits for every zone with 8 exploration badges, which is almost all of them.

I played at launch so I've been there, done that and glad to remember those old day's fondly. I wouldn't want to do it again though. It would be interesting to see how popular a progression server would be if it could have been done.

Just removing the patrol xp would have fixed the "exploit". -

It wasn't Switchfades's post, it was him quoting the offending post that made Jimmy hiding it pointless. -

So much for Jimmy hiding this offensive post. -

It does seem we have come to the end of the internet on this one. Some like it some don't. Guess it's a matter of time to see how it all works out. -
I hope the OP who posted this last May got them by now. But just to add to suggestions, hami raids. Edit: Sorry hami is not solo, but it is a great way to make merits.
