Not a fan I take it? lol Doesnt cost a enh slot, adds to to hit and never get blinded again. Endurance? Yeah you can outbuild that too. Also provides to hit debuff resistance.
-
Also focused accuracy.

Wow. Why am I giddy to try this. lol Like worf facing the jem hadar in their fight Club when they were captive on the asteroid.

Not really, cause if you get hasten you get dull pain perma almost by default.

Yes, when rage crashes sometimes its necessary to avert a hard rage crash, i have found that occasionally when i am engaged in a particularly nasty fight, and rage crashes sometimes i need conserve power even to maintain my attack, now if you stop attacking you dont need CP but who wants to do that?

i have found burnout most useful on my blaster to double nuke, for tanks you really dont need it. Usually take fly to get hover and afterburner to slot luck of the gambler +recharge and also afterburner for the fly speed. Try this build if you want another look at a solid tried and true end game invul build. You won't be weak to anything in it, nigh unkillable in fact. It also exemplars really well. I usually get Agility for defense and endurance, or musculature radial for dmg and endurance on the Alpha. Destiny Ageless radial is my only choice for the Debuff Resistance alone. Judgment on my tanks I usually go mighty radial for the knock up and feeling of power. Lore on all mine I go longbow core because of the -regen Interface degenerative core Hybrid you are correct melee core and - yes and assault radial. Use either situationally.

Oh yeah SR is good, I just didn't choose it, had it on scrappers for a while too, but swapped it out for Ninjitsu. Ninjitsu is like SR 2.0 IMO. Only allowed myself a 10 tank limit. SR is very good though once my 40 is complete I may add more - I'm at 29 now. Actually more like 39 but I have 10 that I lost interest in and they lay dormant and unslotted.
-
My goal was to have 10 fully loaded tanks 10 fully loaded Brutes/Scrappers/Stalkers 10 Troller types 10 ranged types As far as the gold standard for nothing will kill me - my 10 tanks Invul/SS Invul/EM Shield/SJ Shield/Elec Dark/Dark Fire/Fire WP/SJ Elec/DB Fire/EM Rad/Rad

Have you ever tried MIghty Radial? If you havent try it out on test before you finalize that, lol cause its got a lot of control and still does great damage - and feels uber powerful.

Captain Infinitum - Tanker (Shield Defense - Street Justice).mxd Ultra Infinitum - Tanker (Shield Defense - Electric Melee).mxd Both are excellent. The Shield/Elec has AOE in large Quantity, its like a battleship loading for a broadside every 20 sec.

Thats a good time. I'm incarnating mine now, but I have 4 other projects so it's taking a while.

NINE..... DAYS..... LATER....... lol More than one person asked you and you let it go for NINE DAYS. I was actually, and i said so at least 3 or 4 times. I wasnt ranting partner, i was simply showing you how useless barrier as a buff was to this discussion, and if you need to prop yourself up with 6% on either of these builds you have gone seriously wrong in your build. Its not irrelevant when you are giving out bad advice like that. Im fine with my tank thank you very much 🙂 again, 82% is more than enough on an invul - should you ever find yourself in trouble Melee core has a nice 2 min buff thats better than a T9 IMO That hardly ever happens. I dont need them, my tanks are strong enough out of the box without needing a crutch. But if you like them YMMV MPTY Pointing out your mistakes or misdirections is not rage my friend.
-
Lol watch the picture show. My point is and always was - ageless is more valuable and the barrier buff is either overkill on most tankers or not noticeable because 6 % is lol on a resistance tank if you arent already at the cap anyway and on an invul tank it wont matter because you can get to 70% resist across the board in your sleep and with 3 MotT procs be at 82% easily with invul saturated - 6 percent more wont matter - go with the ageless so you get extra DDR. Furthermore if you are at those levels you don't even need the p2w buffs to cap your res - you are just throwing your inf away at that point and its honestly bad advice for this conversation about rad or invul. Maybe not related to something else but here a good baseline buildnis largely unkillable anyway. See My point now? It was never about barrier being perma - it's largest buff isn't perma and the buff that is shouldn't matter it's so small its not going to change much of anything how survivable either of these two are - maybe if the rad was fighting a winter lord once a year? Barrier is useful on fire tanks, but thats about the only thing I put barrier on.
-
You couldnt be more incorrect. Sorry if that comes across as rude, but its being honest and rude.
-
Yeah, ill reserve judgement on that to when they are finished with it, but I dont agree with this. Taking out an AV or hardened target or even Boss killing has an important team function, and if you are 1 or 2 shotting bosses and chunkin AVs swiftly thats very important to a team.
-
Yeah, Fiery Aura is going to feel weaker than most sets because it is, you will have to lean on Healing Flames a lot but its a quick recharge heal - slot it up fast and first and it will save you in a lot of those early encounters - the rest just follow whats in that build Lodestarr and it will gradually get stronger - as far as incarnates You will need Barrier on this one for those ultra hard encounters like a +4/8 ITF.
-
The Fire Energy though IMO has a perfect mix of AOE with the Combo of Blazing Aura, Burn, and whirling hands - then combine that with the ST capability of Energy Transfer and Total Focus while under fiery embrace and build up thats a solid one shot lieutenant killer nad 2 shot boss killer.
-
Ok, trust me on this one - go Fire Aura-Energy melee and use this build. If you wanted to go more AoE try Shield - Elec Melee - aoe for days. Or if you want ultimate reliabiliy with slightly less damage go Invul-Energy Melee Lodestarr - Tanker (Fiery Aura - Energy Melee).mxd Ultra Infinitum - Tanker (Shield Defense - Electric Melee).mxd Nova Infinitum - Tanker (Invulnerability - Energy Melee).mxd
