All the answers here are wrong, the correct choice is Scrapper. And every time yall play together, send this link to your friend:
Sure technically the Brute can hold aggro better, but that only matters if things are left standing. And as a Scrapper, enemies left standing shouldn't be a thing.
This is a great response. If I could award points, I would give you six for this(that's a lot in my made up on the spot game in my head) and would read again. Well played.
I tend to agree with you about nerfs, even if it's one I don't care for. My biggest issue with nerfs is doing a respec sucks and is a shitty experience from start to finish. That gets fixed and I'll make any adjustment to nerfs and they won't be a big deal. To me that is, can't speak for anyone else.
It may not be the right thing to do, but it might be the smart business decision. I realize this isn't a commercial product, but the game is still dependent on revenue, so if 100% of the player base wanted something, it should probably happen. Though 100% will never agree on anything, I agree with you on that.
I'd only ever consider this if dynamic respecs became a thing. I don't mind adjusting my build. But having to do an entire respec and figure my power trays and slot every single power again sounds is something I really don't like to do.
I got my first Tanker to 50 yesterday and didn't feel like being patient on one of them with only one for sale, so I bid like 50 million and didn't get it. At that point I just bought a different one and used a few converters.
Yes the non unique. Yeah I'll eventually convert and sell them and more than double my influence, but I'm in no hurry.
Edit: I forgot to factor in converters. So I won't double my influence, but I'll make a healthy profit.
Obviously their strengths are different, but I have a War Mace/Willpower Scrapper and she's awesome. Can survive almost anything with good damage and tons of knockdown. I've played around in Mid's just a little bit with WP on a Tank and the numbers look ridiculous. With the added AoE and the taunt buff to Rise to the Challenge I bet that will be great at holding aggro. If my Scrapper wasn't so new, this is the combo I would have made with the changes that just came out for Tanks.
I like this combo. This combo is better on Scrappers than Brutes, and even better on Stalkers
Also, Ice/Fire Blaster puts out a ridiculous amount of AoE damage.
I'm not sure how I feel about the suggestion to be honest. At this point I'm very used to how I need to position myself to get the most from Fearsome Stare, so this would be an adjustment. I really can't say if it would be a good or bad adjustment for me, so I don't have an opinion either way. But I do find the idea interesting and I'd be all down for trying it out.
I do too, so not sure how well that will work for me. I only used a few of the extra buttons on my Logitech mouse for that very reason.
It's also what I used to rationalize buying a Mamba Elite mouse a month after buying a Deathadder Elite. The Mamba is just a bit smaller.
So now that the Tank changes are imminent, I think Scrappers getting Super Strength(and Stone Melee!) should be next. It's only fair for reasons I haven't made up yet.
Still, bump.
