  1. I think the ability to solo AVs with an IO build is a good starting point. Blasters can do it and survive, so if a Scrapper can't then the build and/or strategy probably needs work. The AV will matter too. Ghost Widow and Lord Recluse are though ones, and if the build doesn't have DDR Silver Mantis is can be difficult as well. I have no experience with that Lore pet
  2. It was! Now that we've done it and feel we have a solid strategy, if we were to attempt it again it should take significantly less time. I was so worried about defense and resistance that I forgot to factor in him completely draining my endurance and causing me to drop toggles and not be able to activate powers. Plus we should have just taken out the final tower that gave him that to hit buff instead of banging our heads against the wall for another twenty or thirty minutes.
  3. Here is a link to the YouTube video. I can't figure out how to flag certain points so you can easily skip to certain parts, so I'll just mention a few 1. Most of mission one didn't get captured, but that's fine, it was stupid easy. 2. Mission 2 starts here: 3. Mission 3(vines) here: 4. Mission 4 here: 5. First deaths here: This one was my fault. I thought I aggro'd Aeon so I went in before jshmoe and I were ready and it led to a very fast wipe. Upon watching the video, I don't think I actually aggro'd him lol. But what is an all Scrapper team if someone doesn't aggro too aggressively? 6. Mission 5 here: 7. Start of Recluse battle: The Recluse battle apparently took us about an hour and thirty-five minutes. I'll go into more detail later, but a couple quick points to touch on for this: We wouldn't have been able to do this without inspirations and Lore Pets. We had enough damage to defeat everything without pets, but surviving long enough against Recluse for a tower to go down was tough. When he eventually got me, he would make quick work of jshmoe since he was focusing on damaging the tower. Blue inspirations turned out to be much more important to me than purples or oranges. This was my first time trying to hold Recluse's attention during one of these, so it was a challenge lol We should have taken out the blue tower a LONG time before we did. Once he lost that to-hit buff, we made short work of him. I'm so used to skipping the blue tower when I do this TF that I had forgotten what it did. Will get into more detail later and share the specific builds we used. Now that it's done and we figured out how to handle Recluse, I think we could shave significant time off it with these two Scrappers.
  4. This was fun! Recluse was a struggle, but that was more because we had to figure out a solid strategy as we went. I am currently uploading the video and will post it at some point in the morning/early afternoon.
  5. We're on mission 3 now. Not streaming, but jshmoe is recording and we'll put the entire thing on YouTube after we finish.
  6. Do you mean like generic IOs for damage or recharge or accuracy?
  7. I hear ya. My first was (and still is) an energy/energy blaster. And while I didn't do anything to increase the natural knockback of several powers, I still managed to piss off the scrappers. They sound like lame Scrappers. KB all you want, I'll just hop on over and smash them if they aren't defeated.
  8. What's a decent estimate on how long this TF might take to solo?
  9. Making a tank first when Scrapper was an option.
  10. That's a better number than my Elec/SD Scrapper lol
  11. Absolutely nailed it.
  12. Thanks, I appreciate it! Yeah, I'm having a lot of fun doing me, using the powers that I want, the enhancements that I want and building the hero that I want, doing missions and reading everything. The first missions for Twinshot made me laught a lot. But I'm playing alone, while I'm trying to solo everything, right now I'm stuck on Veles cause I can't beat him alone, thats why I'm asking how to properly ask for help cause the chat doesn't seems to have anyone that never played before, I don't see anyone asking for help with these silly things so I felt strange about flooding the chat with this. I second everything Niizzy said. But don't be shy to use the Help channel if you have a random question of any sort when you're in game. And you can directly use Help or Looking for Group channels if all you want is help for a specific mission. Also if I'm on I'll be happy to help when I can. My global name is @MunkiLord
  13. The primary reason I suggested moving the set to Thunderstrike is so you can have a chance at the critical strike proc as much as possible. Charged Brawl likely won't be a power you use a lot, so that will limit how often the critical proc goes off.
  14. Here is the build I'm currently using myself on live. I went through many versions of this build, including abut four or five people giving significant suggestions before I settled on what I wanted in the end. 15. Some suggestions 1. I'd put Superior Critical Strikes in Thunderstrike since you'll be using that power significantly more than Charged Brawl. 2. I feel Defelction is underslotted. You can get over 19% defense from that power plus other set bonuses. It will also open up other slotting possibilities for Lightning Rod. Reactive Defense is an excellent set to use there. I made some tweaks and moved some slots around just for some ideas. I like your build a lot. My changes result in less regen, but more smash/lethal resist, slightly better end management, and a little more recharge. But I wouldn't use my version for a final build myself. There's more defense than needed, especially AoE, and you could probably get a bit more resist if you give up some recharge(you can afford to lose about 10-12% and still keep perma hasten). As far as your overall endurance, you shouldn't have too many major problems. You may need to pop a blue from time to time if you're moving really fast. Getting the accolades completely solved that for me though. So end is manageable as is, and no problem at all with the accolades. 16. What exactly is Gnarly's supposed to do? I am unfamiliar with this.
  17. Later in the summer/early fall when I build my new PC, I am extremely likely to go with this mouse or something with a similar set up.
  18. It does work, I ended up picking it up last week after starting a similar thread, lots of replies and good info here: https://forums.homecomingservers.com/index.php/topic,4449.msg33084.html#msg33084 It's comfortable, but some of the side buttons aren't ideally placed, so I don't use every button. But it's a good mouse for the price. When I'm ready to spend more, I will be getting something different, but I'm not quite there yet dropping 90-150 on a mouse.
  19. I'll open this up when I get home tonight and look at it in detail, so you may have already done this, but if not I suggest adding the Alpha Slot into your build since it comes so quickly. That particular Incarnate power is worth planning for at this point for end game builds that use a lot of sets. Alpha slot makes a significant difference and you will have it sooner rather than later if you spend any time playing at level 50.
  20. Have you looked into the XBox Adaptive Controller? I haven't used it myself, but I've heard great things about it helping people with limited mobility play games. https://www.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/accessories/controllers/xbox-adaptive-controller
  21. Both. That being said, if you're wanting to solo AVs, Fire is the better choice. Electric Melee can solo AVs, but it is significantly slower than Fire. If you want to kill large masses of minions and LTs, then Electric Melee pulls ahead, though again Fire is also really good at that.
  22. These are all incredibly fun to play too!
  23. It's not cheap, and I have no direct experience with it, but I have heard wonderful things about the Xbox Adaptive Controller and how it can help customize a gaming experience to make them more playable for people with various disabilities. If someone has $100 to drop on a controller, it may be a good idea to look into it more. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/xbox-adaptive-controller/8nsdbhz1n3d8?activetab=pivot%3aoverviewtab
  24. If the team is going well and we're having fun, I'm fine with anything and everything. Pure Empath, Petless MM, I don't care.
  25. I've definitely used 10-12 merits and still not ended up with something I could sell for 5M, but perhaps I'm choosing the wrong things to convert. Or just have bad luck, more than once there have been only 3 possibilities, and I cycle back and forth between the two unprofitable ones 4-5 times in a row. . . Selling converters also requires a lot less time spent researching what enhancements to convert than converting enhancements, so depends on what you like to do with your time in game. It's pretty random as far as I can tell. I'll sometimes get the rare I want four times in a row, then other times I'll burn through 40 converters on a single enhancement. Based on the 3-4 times I've actually tracked 5-10 enhancements at once, it seems to average 9-17 converters for me to get the specific one I want. This is with Numina's.
