  1. Spawns are set to whatever setting you have for the spawn size. However I don't believe it will go lover in level only higher. In addition end bosses will still be bosses or EBs or AV regardless of settings.
  2. Because sometimes I just want a patron power and feel like being lazy I was wondering what is the easiest arc to complete. I remember some of them were pretty difficult solo with a sub optimal build.
  3. I got my first purple off of a lvl 47 while farming the other day so yes, they do still drop just at a lower rate on lvl 47s.
  4. That thing would be sucking wind but never getting hit at least.
  5. The stances I can live without although granted I would like to see them working as well but I did find one other thing that I was able to fix. DNA siphon does not allow you to click on or off for brutes. To fix that go to options, advanced, database editor, main database editor. Then on the left row pick brute defense then pick Bio Armor from the middle and DNA Siphon from the right. Then click edit. On the right hand side there is a section for MxD Special Flags. Click the box for Power is a click buff and save. Then when you reload you should be able to toggle it on and off to check numbers.
  6. Wait, did you name your Claws crapper Without Pause? Shouldn't it be Without Paws?
  7. Nope, just double checked because you got my hopes up that it was added within the past couple days. Energy Melee and Super Strength are still currently Brute/Tanker only with Stalkers getting a slightly different version of EM but no SS.
  8. Why Brute over Scrapper? Just wondering, because that chance t crit and do double damage sounds really nice. While talking about creation, does the source of my powers matter in any way? What's the difference between choosing magic or tech? Only because super strength is only available to brutes and tanks. Also a punchy set is energy melee but its animations may not be the fit you are looking for.
  9. I12 and before I had a blast with my EM/WP brute. After that not so much. Melee now is pretty useless unless you enjoy being a taunt bot.
  10. The melee attack is on par with the damage of your higher damage rangede attacks. This means when stuff gets close and with enough recharge you can have a decent attack chain without having to throw in your tier 1 or 2 attacks to fill the gaps.
  11. I only plan on having one melee power from the epic pool. Mainly as a purple mule but would be handy for a decent heavy hitter for stuff that gets close as well.
  12. Just threw this together in a hurry so have not checked every detail but my all around would look something like this. Soft capped S/L and Melee defense. Decent recharge but with incarnate stuff can make perma hasten. It would be an end hog but again, incarnate stuff fixes that and you have consume. Also if you are farming you should be getting enough inspiration drops to pop blues now and then if needed. Now this is stupidly expensive but something like that is what I would probably shoot for. For pure fire farming cheese you really don't need to spend much. Just keep a good supply of purples to keep you at soft cap for defense. I am just running a SO with some basic IOs, no sets and am up to 43 and have been running at +4, 8 since mid 20s. 13. Attack vitals then sweep combo. Sweep is aoe knockdown. That can be done all day long with minimal global recharge. DB / WP is probably one of the least expensive combos to make that performs well. The only issue is it doesn't get much better without some pretty crazy recharge iirc. Would have to do some digging to find the higher damage high recharge combo.
  14. Farming what? General build that can handle most actual content or cheeze AE farms that only deal fire damage?
  15. While leveling I tend to just use the recipes that drop along with the salvage that dropps. It's cheeper than getting SOs frequently and they never get worse as you level up. The few exceptions are numina and miracle. I get those early normally with merits to avoid endurance issues that are normally common at the lower levels.
  16. SS is not that great at lower levels as you don't normally have much global recharge and your heavy hitter is on a long timer. It can be decent for farming with a lot of recharge and the right epic pool. I would go Mu for 2 more aoe attacks. However that same farming build would be terrible for lower level content so you would need a 2nd spec for that.
  17. All they can do is exactly what they did last night. I saw a message pop up asking nicely for those that were multi boxing to stop during peak hours as there was a queue at that time to get into the server.
  18. Healing numbers mean very little. Defenders have better numbers on their buffs and debuffs vs controllers.
  19. Bio is one that is much better on a brute. High regen and +HP which favor the brute and tanks but if forced to go into defensive stance that -25% damage hurts a lot less on a brute with high fury vs a scrapper or tank without any extra buffs.
  20. Energy Melee. It has Total Focus which does as much damage as KO Blow (granted with a longer animation) and also has Energy Transfer which has even higher base damage. It is also a mix of smashing and energy damage and energy for the most part is less resisted than smashing/lethal damage.
  21. I think a lot of it has to do with the mindset people get from most other MMO games. The majority of them have group content where you need at least one person in charge of keeping everyone healed up. Those that come here don't seem to realize that this can be done in all sorts of ways and one of the least effective (at least in this game) is pure healing.
  22. EM is what you are looking for. It has 2 heavy hitting attacks and with high fury and build up can 1 shot lt mobs with energy transfer.
  23. I am loving bio. Having that offensive toggle for more damage until stuff gets close is great. Even better if you solo and pair it with something with lots of knock back.
  24. Playing one now and it is quite fun. I'm still leveling so dont have much of a guide yet. So far I just have combat jumping and super jump but will eventually dip into haste. I'm only 17 and did a solo posi1 without any deaths without any issues. I start off with offensive for bigger damage numbers then if something makes it to melee I swap to efficient or defense if I get swarmed. I'll have more eventually
  25. 10k is the I NEED IT RIGHT NOW! price. Because I value storage space for rares more than I care about common salvage I list them for 2 inf. When I do this during slow times they have sold for as low as 2500. If you have a little bit of patience most people can afford that. I also sell recipes I don't use in a similar way and had well over 3 million by the time I was 15. If you are broke it is your own fault for being a hoarder.
