    Claws/da

It is a good combo that I have not tried yet. Claws are pretty easy on endurance to offset the toggle heavy dark. Now you can throw kb to kd io in shockwave to keep things in your damage aura while still being able to keep stuff from attacking.
  2. My old Rad/Sonic defender would argue about defenders having low damage. She could take down pylons faster than most scrappers. But yes there is a trade off for being durable with mez protection and having range. If it is fun for you that is all that matters.
  3. Shudder. Don't remind me of the days my old Spines/Dark would occasionally get detoggled. That was a mess getting back into the fight having to wait for at least 9 toggles to all charge up. On the bright side if I got detoggled most of the time it meant I was dead so I would have a nice long stun for everyone while I got back up.
  4. I made a character 4 feet tall. The punching target area is right at groin height. Sands of mu looks terribly painful.
  5. It would hurt whatever it is debuffing. You are safe.
  6. Exactly - the amount of builds I see who still need to depend on purples is kind of ridiculous. Turning them off and being capped makes life way easier. Question - why Mu Lightning? Purely for the set bonus? Is there a similar one you could still keep Throw Spines for? I've found it is some nice extra damage while waiting on other stuff to pop AND is great for grabbing another group as you're finishing off one. Also, what other Incarnates would you go with? Set bonus for one and it is a fast single target attack for that last boss which always seems to wander off. With that much recharge there is very little down time between aoe attacks which is mainly used to gobble up inspirations. Any wandering groups that pass by I hit with Elec fences, that holds them in place and the dots keep the aggro popping as the group I am working on dies off. That and I am lazy and don't like positioning myself for cones. Ageless is handy until the build is finished, by then there are fewer endurance issues and consume is up fast enough to manage those. Barrier is nice for doing normal content since fire tends to be a bit squishie. For Hybrid I go assault for more damage but am working on Melee core to be able to do more other content as well.
  7. Back on live our SG would run that pretty regularly. Just by having everyone knowing exactly what to do when, it was pretty common to get it done in around 25 minutes. Sometimes the stars would align and everyone was totally on point and planning several steps ahead and we would get it done in just over 20. Shaving another couple minutes off of that is quite impressive.
  8. This^^ If I am engaged with 1 group at or above the aggro cap and another wanders by, I'll hit them with Elec Fences. This keeps them from wandering too far away and by the time it wears off the other group is dead and the ticks of damage they take lets the aggro reapply once I am back under the cap.
  9. Not to be a smart ass here, but if there was plenty of room, I would have never made this post. ;) Not to be a smart ass here but if your build is so terrible that you have to remove more than 70 enhancements, you probably should try a different game ;) The difference between what I said and the garbage you just spewed out of your mouth is...I honestly wasn't being a smart ass...which was why I stated it up front so that you wouldn't take me that way. You on the other hand are clearly "trying" to be a smart ass. Has nothing to do with my build, my man. I was level 46, I had out grown my SO's...I wanted to sell them. And before you tell me to go make IO's...no. For reasons. P.S. Don't tell me to go play another game. Chances are, I was playing this game back when you were nothing more than a squiggly thing racing to the egg. Oh I was being a smart ass. I was not "trying". But it was ok because I put the ;) at the end ;)
  10. Way back before there was a TP prompt I was on my Rad defender. I was in a group that had a tank but a regen scrapper (who thankfully skipped his self rez) thought he could tank too. He would run off and get himself killed repeatedly. After the 2nd time I stopped rezzing him and instead would TP his corpse around after the tank pulled and use him for fallout and veng when they were up. The douche move was thanking him because the team did more damage with him dead than alive. In another game (SWTOR) our guild would regularly raid and we did all sorts of things to mess with each other and try and get people killed. When the boss fights started we all stopped but on the way there anything was fair game. One raid had a section of trash mobs that would explode when they got low on health. This was well telegraphed and took a few seconds to blow up giving everyone plenty of time to get out of the way. The damage has since been nerfed but for a while when they exploded it did enough damage to 1 shot most of the squishier types. So while everyone backed off those of us with powers to pull mobs (only a couple classes could do this) would pull them into as many players as possible just a split second before they blew up.
  11. Sounds like you have followed the advice given here
  12. Have gauntlet cause a small -resist and cause taunt on tankers to have a larger -range debuff to the point where ranged attackers need to get 15 feet minimum to attack. The aggro cap is not going to change unless it changes for everyone so odds are that is not happening. This would make having multiple tanks on a team less of a slow down and makes tanks able to heard into melee range without having to break LoS.
  13. Which can be done in two weeks, AFK, with a friend PLing you hard and fast. How many HOURS do you have invested in the game, both Live and Homecoming? :) Got my spines/fire up to that point in 1 day. Solo. Number of 50s means nothing. I have met plenty of 50+s that have no idea what they are doing and have little understanding of game mechanics or builds.
  14. If your goal is only AE fire farms then you want several things to all be included. The first is high recharge to at least make hasten perma. The second is a bunch of accuracy/to hit, at least 2 purple sets with +accuracy and Kismet (less of an issue with Rad as it has -defense built in). This gets you hitting everything 95% of the time once you get your alpha level shift. This allows you to turn yellows into damage. Next is high fire defense at 45%+ so you can turn lucks into damage. On top of that you should be fine with your heal power so you can also turn greens into damage. Outside of AE farms Devastating Blow and Radiation Siphon are great attacks but are really not needed on fire farms. This is what I use and it's a monster...ok actually a little bunny but you know what I mean. Solid AOE only attack chain with brief moments of down time to click on inspirations. In the rare cases where I feel like hunting down that one boss that managed to wander off I use Radioactive Smash, Burn and Mu Lightning. A side effect of all those sets is decent S/L defense as well so it can still do well if you feel like running some other content. 15. Unless it is just for the set bonus, focused accuracy is a bit overkill. With Kismet and 2 purple sets you will be at 95% chance to hit +3 mobs which is the highest they would be after you get your alpha slotted. For those times you get debuffed or face high defense targets you can pop yellows. You also have 3 slots in boxing unused so you could put those 4 slots elsewhere or have another attack with 5 slots if you reallocate those.
  16. Almost true. Claws is the exception. When Claws were ported to Brutes and Tanks, on many of the attacks they increased the recharge time, damage and endurance costs compared to Scrappers. As usual Arcanaville is correct. Fury makes brutes do more damage which in turn means before slotting for damage, brutes are more energy efficient at dealing damage once the fury bar gets up. With no damage slotted in an attack a brute with over 25% fury will do more damage than a scrapper (outside of crits) while using the same amount of endurance. However at lvl 50 with both having 3 Damage IOs, they would have to maintain over 50% fury in order to do more damage (again outside of crits).
  17. If you slot brawl, rest and sprint you would have 98 slots.
  18. Not to be a smart ass here, but if there was plenty of room, I would have never made this post. ;) Not to be a smart ass here but if your build is so terrible that you have to remove more than 70 enhancements, you probably should try a different game ;)
  19. Oh, Ice/Ninja Sentinal. 3 slot Hurdle and Swift and 6 Slot Shiobi-Ri with 4 slots for defense stuff and the other 2 Winters Gift and Blessing of the Zepher. The PVP ranged jouster with no suppression buzzing by at 70 mph.
  20. Ok so this would take forever to kill anything but it could survive. I took 0 time to figure out attack strategy or optimize damage. Just threw in sets to bump up various defenses and resists as much as I could. Almost 40% Fire/Cold Defense. Close to soft cap Melee Defense and capped S/L resists. I figure fight what you can and when you get low on HP, hit afterburner and GTFO and heal up then come back. Oh and 6 slotting brawl with 4 damage procs and accuracy is potentially viable. Over 300 damage if you get lucky and they all proc on the same attack. Replace one of the accuracy with a proc to hold from blistering cold for even more fun. | Copy & Paste this data into Mids' Hero Designer to view the build | |-------------------------------------------------------------------| |MxDz;1458;659;1318;HEX;| |78DA6594C76F134114C667ED35212E3871E212A7D909B11307962C70A00A8992881| |0A30810079AB5721C7B2537D989448EDC39406817EA891B277A39C05F430B41A288| |BEBCCCFB702C76E4D54FF3BD7975344E9FDDEFBD37716E8F50DAF6158D7A3D9336E| |A73B95AC92CCFB8D246DECC3A05AD16FA7A562D99A3F3A552A5AC1DCE656B959251| |CE2EC49B8C7BE76767B56305DA19C5CC1163C634E6CC4A5978A72B95A2369533AA6| |639EF939B71335F98A39D8777C595ADFFDFB1995CAD5E30ABD1035533AB35854FCF| |A3C685085595A0EFAE4B6059F4A3259EFA1A8A4BBCA616745538DE806F99EA3BF03| |D73CD12F319F92AECEB5436C31626A557156B23E077D683341827F238130EA92593| |CCD43073C3089802479921F275C94496EA0A2A52734F725CF738D33B011E64865BF| |82E563A6D919D2AB46D4505AD27084955244E82A7C0D3CCE41930C37490AF07D13C| |32DAF921217C88E6BBAECA9CEB6E803799D15BCC9EDBE01DA693A2F9B91FA7FF1BD| |7DBF619FCC28C7EC5CCE96C3B7A6F47EF01F41E40EF9DE8BD13BDBBC9A703B5755C| |E09CF18BE02273FD25F0327885D94EBE41E40B225F08F942C81741BE08F205C827C| |C3E221C1752EB20AD0B13EB82A68484E8465DDD3FF96EFB7E81BFC13FCC98C58C0B| |CEE1A178BD88D72B6FA093947E561CFDA834F6894FC70E319F130630E9014C7A109| |31EC4A40731E997749D43C8302433BC20C330EA1DBECFF31979003E041F31538FC1| |27CC65AF10A3F01DDDC6BD6CDC0EEE00773237ED0277335F51251A2AD1A23C3B41B| |31B8336D6C75A8FFAFF6B4ED994319BA2DB942D3665AB4D99B229E955C59A561BFF| |044291D6D6B6C67BB796DC64559AADCBAB8A4339CE77A7C7F91EF44945BEB90F36A| |F8FCD5ED730B345A67E95F983E6A4F319EB2F984500C0| |-------------------------------------------------------------------|
  21. Petless /thermal MM with only pool powers for attacks. I'll see what I can do when I get home and can make a build.
  22. You get 2 warning messages and plenty of room to place any extra enhancements you don't plan on slotting anymore. Before we only had a handful of room so I can see why the auto sale was put in place but it's not needed anymore.
  23. What takes the least amount of effort on the part of the developers is to do nothing, which is what should be done.
  24. I would try to muster the courage to join a radio mission team. It is rare for people to care how good you are on those teams. They also tend to have people drop and be replaced after 1 or 2 missions so no one will be mad if you have to leave. Otherwise if you are on torchbearer Ill get you to 50 in a hurry if you want. @Helen Carnate. I would aslo 2nd the RP option. It makes it easier to stick with 1 character at a time.
  25. Combine that with a large overhaul of salvage. Since they are interchangeable on the AH get rid of all the individual salvage items and just have 3 salvage that can drop. Common, uncommon and rare. This would require a lot of work but would be a very nice qol change.
