I think you left off a number of zeros... I believe the reward merit maximum is 1,017,500 for a single character. Congrats on the third alt. Whatcha gonna choose?!

congratulations! This is troo and it has been a bit more underground / have already figured this out. Fire Farming was the easy intro. Now more specialized options will grab some attention.

There is a mean spirited trolliness that is more than evident. 'Ignore' or 'report' being the lamest and only realistic options available. We could make a list of the worst and have them removed, only to then need to make a new list and repeat until we're alone.

As for dead horses, bean boozliing, gas trucks, detonators and claims of troofoolery. Smashing/Lethal Farming is a valid topic which has not been discussed nearly as much as forum moderation, fire farming, power creep, the cottage rule, reward changes, etc. It was a quick topic on the way out of town. clue: One player hitting one target has a negligible impact. Sixteen mobs hitting one player has a noticeable impact. -res, -rech, stuns, etc. lots of better options for player vs mob.

That seems to have been the plan to date and it would seem there is most definitely room for improvement. Maybe you feel it is working just fine. I disagree. As for being upset, the only time I've trooly been upset is when posts which are on topic and took more time to put together get swept up in purges. That is frustrating. -

If it was a requirement to complete DFB, Posi 1 & 2, Peni Yin, and ITF could folks then have their 'insta 50'? If jump starting a character, I think it would be best for folks to somehow earn it. I also think it would be better to jump to 40 or so rather than 50. This encourages some play, the gathering of resources and experience before hitting 50. 10 levels of drops and $$ is helpful for the game economy (recipes and other drops) My preference is not for free 50s and rather for powerset respecifications where a character can respec a primary or secondary powerset. With the insta-50s for PvP the same is more likely inevitable in PvE. Here is a chance for folks to lay out what could be reasonable requirements and preferences. Should there be a cost or accomplishment requirement?

I've found the new wiki to be rife with errors, bias and opinions. The search feature is also awful. As such, I'll use the old and dependable where I can.

As a critic of many changes over the years, I'd like to note that the Homecoming team does read feedback even if it's a succinct "this is bad". Sure they'd prefer it to be constructive and would like to know why something is bad, but even without details it is read. As others have said, they've made adjustments in Open Beta or flat rolled back a number of changes before publishing. I agree it was a short window. I also agree that changes to existing power sets can be frustrating.

@Ukase Workaround 1: Don't craft anything that requires rare salvage. Craft uncommon recipes and convert to rare enhancements. Workaround 2: AE Tickets. Workaround 3: Reward Merits (please don't do this). Workaround 4: Salvage Farming. Rather than +4/8 xp farm, fight greens or higher -1/8, maybe turn bosses off. Drop Rates Each enemy you defeat has a chance of dropping one piece of invention salvage, provided it is at least level 4 and its con color is green or higher.
