It's the one above: Psychic Blast / Dark Miasma / Dark Mastery Positional Melee 45 and Range 42 Here's a little simpler Fire-Dark-Soul that is affordable and easily upgrade-able.

Not a bad build at all. We almost all have builds with room for improvement, fiddling, and/or overclocking one aspect of a specialized build. Some good points have been made already so let me add: /Dark and defense: Shooting for just over 30% can be as effective as soft capping.. *G A S P* With /Dark there is much less stress to get to the softcap, especially teaming and +1/8. Go ahead and lean into the dark side of you character. Fearsome Stare at lvl twenty has 15% -tohit 45 degree arc 70 foot range Fearsome Stare can get bumped up to 20% -tohit Fearsome Stare is fairly easy to perma Can be supplemented with the heal Twilight Grasp (-5%) and toggle Darkest Night (-15%) -tohit doesn't care about Type or Positional defense So rather than gimping a character chasing the softcaps, there can be a lot more flexibility. One of my characters leverages 46% -tohit.

LotGs are an exception to that rule. You get the five LotGs +rech and five 7.5% +rech from other sources if you want. That said, correct, the 6th 10% recharge would not count. -

Maybe my pseudo-pet? Burn, Ice Storm or Enflame? No NPC, fall damage, not using any pets or temps. I ran the first couple groups on @Vayek's "Night at the Movies: Final Destination" #51733 on two different characters and got different results with the same +4/8 Bosses settings. Seems odd that one character is getting exactly 2/3 the exp. You have defeated S L Minion You gain 4,267 experience and 3,982 influence. You received 633 Psychic Incarnate experience for your Lore slot. You have defeated S L Lieutenant You gain 12,816 experience and 20,504 influence. You received 2,850 Psychic Incarnate experience for your Lore slot. You have defeated S L Boss You gain 38,448 experience and 64,081 influence. You received 9,500 Psychic Incarnate experience for your Lore slot. You have defeated S L Lieutenant You gain 12,816 experience and 20,504 influence. Minions and Lieutenants seem pretty consistent, but two different bosses dropped in exp right after defeating an identical pair.

@The_Warpact look what you have wrought. "I have no easy answer on how to proceed, but.. ,,I know something is seriously wrong." @Neiska don't forget Gladiator matches. @Trike you're not wrong about a lot of effort going into PvP and it magnifying balance issues that ended up directly and/or indirectly impacting PvE. (I still liked PvP and the PvP zones) @battlewraith I agree that SO & Hami PvP which was closer rule wise to PvE was better and more inclusive. @Ukase rant on fella. rant on. -
Can Brutes get any buffs or refreshed Archetype Enhancements? Is that even possible with the what goes on currently? Kinda stinks for the average Brute that isn't trying to overclock game mechanics.

@Solarverse Convince you? Nope. AoE melee attacks can definitely be wasted on many teams, your assessment is accurate. PUGs by nature can end up pitting Fun against Effectiveness. The more folks on a team the worse it can get. Therefore, smaller teams might appreciate a strong AoE tank more. Similar can be said for other ATs on full PUGs. We simply might not get to use all our tools or it might be best not to use all our tools when things get steamrollerish.

Let all participants in Weekly Strike Target task forces receive Prismatic Aether Particle rewards. Rather than just level 50+. "If the character is level 50 when they start the target activity, they are awarded with a Notice of the Well, used in Rare and Very Rare Alpha Slot boosts." AND "will also earn 1-2 Prismatic Aether Particle salvage depending on the length of the content completed." As it is now, the Weekly Strike Target reward for Aether essentially encourages players to skip to 50 and play down while failing to reward characters who are actually in a task forces level range. Shouldn't the folks in the actual level range of a task force be getting the most reward, not the least?

Maybe 'max level' is the top of the Weekly Strike Target level range and varies Task Force to Task Force.. nope Numina Task Force The last of six Freedom Phalanx Task Forces Level Range 35-40 Suggested Team Size 4 players Merits 36 So.. a level 40 or higher would receive 72 reward merits, 2 Prismatic Aether Particles, and a 2% chance for a drop of an Aether a level 39 or lower would receive 72 reward merits and only the 2% chance for a drop of an Aether Is that correct? nope Weekly Strike Target "If the character is level 50 when they start the target activity, they are awarded with a Notice of the Well, used in Rare and Very Rare Alpha Slot boosts." a level 50 or higher would receive 72 reward merits, 2 Prismatic Aether Particles, and a 2% chance for a drop of an Aether a level 49 or lower would receive 72 reward merits and only the 2% chance for a drop of an Aether This would appear to reward a "skip to 50 double experience AE train**, IO out your character, and then exemplar down for accolades" method over anyone actually in the level range of the Task Forces. Why wouldn't it simply be anyone doing the Weekly Strike Target Task Forces? Folks need to be the minimum to participate already, right? **I don't begrudge anyone skipping to 50, I just don't think it should be rewarded above and beyond.

@MoonSheep I'm disagreeing to some extent. Offering such high rewards to players with the most expensive builds could be a rich get richer scenario that is effectively punitive to more casual players. That's a valid concern.

Yep, it was just gone. Checked all desktop adjacent folders for a accidental dragging which doesn't happen but very rarely on desktops (unlike laptops) but I checked anyway. Searched everything. Checked the tequila.exe.log & tequilaactivitylog files, nothing strange to me. Ran a quick diagnostics, reset my ip address, and recreated the shortcut. (will need to setup Pargon Chat, etc again later) No biggie just a little alarming. tequilaactivitylog for the past day or so:
