  1. I was a Paragon Chat diehard and saw Codewalkers post regarding " The elephant in the Room " , it wasn't long after that I was back.
  2. Plus, just to clarify, keep in mind that although you may have the Badges for Posi 1 and Posi 2, if you got them before the new badge was introduced they will not count towards Epidemiologist. You will need a new defeat of Doc Buzzsaw and Dr. Vahzilok for the badge progress to count it. ( This was the case for me ).
  3. Been trying to get the word out that Donations are still open but chat is so busy that it's buried in no time.
  4. Check out the thread below, some opted to replace the Card to fix issues but several on page 2 found replacing the Thermal Paste corrected it, read on....and good hunting. Resolved - Fan 1 Sudden High RPM at 80C - RTX 2080 Ti XC - EVGA Forums
  5. Something else to check... fonts - Text has turned to boxes in Ubuntu 16.04 - Ask Ubuntu
  6. Found the issue, after the security guards are all defeated, there is a File cabinet that needs to be searched in the office with cubicles. not listed in the objectives so was not looking for it. The door with Bars in the shop area along the wall is the secret base entrance and will then open, not the one behind a counter or the vault door, Whew, glad that is done.
  7. Unable to enter Secret Base door even after defeating all the Security Guards, Am I missing something? Logged off, reran it, same issue.
  8. Unlike a lot of newer games, which use DirectX, COH requires OpenGL, without that the game cannot run, has it been installed? Just a thought since you said it was a newer Laptop, which more than likely does not have OpenGL installed unless he did it.
  9. If he didn't make it into the city, he won't have a character to log into, they have to make it to Atlas Park, Mercy Island or Praetoria or they aren't saved for the game to load them. Just select an available slot and create/recreate a character, then name it, then proceed to enter the city.
  10. I was running the Dirge of Chaos Arc from Mercedes Sheldon ( 20-24 ) solo through Flashback today. When I got to the end of the last mission and had escorted Amanda Gates to the exit, suddenly the screen switched to loading the zone and I was outside. No text as far as mission complete, no reward merits text ( had never ran this arc before ) and I was no longer in Flashback/TF Mode. I was running with "no Enhancements" for the badge, which I received, and the Pillar shows the Arc in Gold which means I have completed it now. No idea if I got the merits or completion bonus. Since you can log out and resume in this situation normally I have no idea what happened. Glad I at least got the badge, the Dirge of Chaos and Chaos Ghosts at the end were a handful with no enhancements, and I really am not interested in doing that again anytime soon.
  11. It will always be in the lower right, if there is a way to relocate it, it isn't included in the instructions.
  12. Try this to check your connection. Allows the user to turn on and off a network monitor, or graph. This graph will overlay on top of any other windows, and will always be in the lower right hand corner. /netgraph by itself will return the current net_graph setting. /netgraph 0 will hide the netgraph. /netgraph 1 will display the netgraph /netgraph #, where # > 1, will display a much taller version of the netgraph. On the netgraph: Green bars represent received packets, with the height of the bar representing server ping time in milliseconds Yellow bars represent retransmitted packets. Red bars represent dropped packets. Above the graph, the command also displays the number of duplicated incoming packets, retransmitted packets and lost packets, as well as the current server ping in millisconds
  13. Hey @Solarverse, Noticed Something in Issue 27: Page 6 notes.... Sound System: Added /loudstacking slash command to optionally enable old eardrum-busting sound stacking. There you go!
  14. @lemming, If someone wishes to document these for the Wiki that would be great, let me know when I can remove them from here to free space.
  15. The page for Alexandra Sidelis is not yet created but here is what I have so far.
  16. Also curious about badge for " Defeat 100 Incarnate Lavel Cimeroran Traitors " , it seems the only source for these is Sister Valeris" Arc as the level 54 Cimeroran Traitors on the open map do not count towards it. The Cimeroran Traitors in Alexandra Sidelis' Missions count toward the badge as well.
  17. Not certain but believe it is for defeating 100 Adherants to the Ravenna Conclave in Cimerora. These appear in Missions from Sister Valerus and Alexandra Sidelis. Could find no reference in Defeats Badges section of Wiki.
  18. Was rerunning the Gordon Bower arc to harvest Ghosts for the Badge and got to the mission where you go to Skipper LeGrange and get the Divining Rod to gather info from Ghosts. Entered mission and used the Divining Rod on the first ghost I came across and it then vanished from my tray. I checked in Temporary Powers and all of my trays and it was simply gone. Very strange...
  19. I would see how things go, getting a laptop with a Discreet Graphics Card will be a major price jump, same for desktops.
  20. Here you go. Open the Launcher and click on the 3 dots below right side of Ready. Click settings, and enter -usetexenvcombine in extra launch parameters field. Close out of Launcher, restart Launcher. Good Luck.
  21. Depending on where you are the issue could be from many different things. If you are on a cable TV based (Coax) ISP, such as Spectrum or Cox, they utilize a Token ring network design. This means you pay for X amount of Bandwidth, your feed comes from a HUB that is fed with Y amount of total bandwidth. During off hours you can get as much of the Pie as your plan dictates, but during Peak Hours, Primetime, the HUB gives you a Percentage of the total Bandwidth available based on your plan. Before Streaming became so Common this was not as big a deal as it is now. A lot of people have found that using a VPN can smooth out the connection, especially if your connection to Homecoming hops through a troubled area, like Detroit, on it's way there. A VPN can be set up to avoid this. Try running /netgraph 1, will let you see the connection as a graphic while in game, and will perhaps help you isolate the issue. You can also download and run Wireshark (free) that will let you see the hops from service to service you are using to get from you to wherever using a ping test. Good Hunting Also if using integrated Graphics courtesy on @Biostem Use the -usetexenvcombine launch parameter if you're running integrated graphics..
  22. I wonder if he knows we're here, and available? He does post to PC Gamer after all. More than a decade after the MCU conquered cinema, why haven't superheroes taken over games? | PC Gamer
  23. This is why I didn't find it.....the description is wrong where I saw it but correct on it's own page, good find.
  24. Have a Badge showing 13 of 16 complete with the description " Complete every story arc in Dark Astoria ". Well I have, and have the Destroyer of Despair Badge and all the mission objective Badges. Is it possible it awarded and neglected to update the Badge Progress? I checked the Wiki and there is only one badge that fits that description in Dark Astoria, and it's the one I already have.
