  1. You make the false assumption the only way to address KB issues is requiring people to burn a slot to not make a power detrimental to your team. What the rest of us over here in not false equivalency land are saying is there are other ways that can, and should, be explored. Yes, that is an added benefit in the niche example you provide. But this is not the majority of the game nor representative of the way most people play. Most people are far more concerned about not getting curbstomped because the tank lost aggro than they are about clear times.
  2. It's absolutely not what the OP is asking for.
  3. No, people complain because spreading mobs out makes it harder to maintain aggro control. It has nothing to do with damage.
  4. I can't possibly imagine this to be true.
  5. Honestly I'd like to see such a power available to everyone from the P2W vendor. A zero-endurance toggle that reduces all KB to KD. This way one can choose this if you want it to cover all your powers (and have the ability to turn it on or off at will) or opt for IOs if you just want to convert specific powers.
  6. How about no? More options = better. Having to burn an enhancement slot isn't always ideal. Having a zero-cost passive or toggle power isn't always ideal either. But the more options we have the better. I really do not understand the pushback here. If I suggested that all KB in the game be reduced to MAG 0.67 so that it's KD, with the excuse that you could then slot KB enhancers to turn it in KB if you wanted to, with a massive -tohit and/or -dmg penalty, you'd lose your GD mind. So why is the reverse OK? Sometimes KB is a good thing and sometimes it's not. Giving us the flexibility to control it better is a plus, not a minus, especially since no one will ever force you to use said options if you choose not to.
  7. There are a number of powers that are autohit and naturally do not accept accuracy enhancements. But there are others that are autohit in PvE but not in PvP so they will accept accuracy enhancements. And others still that are hybrid, where the caster effect is autohit but the critter effect requires a tohit check. The problem is this info isn't displayed anywhere in-game, which results in either slotting accuracy that's not needed or not slotting accuracy that is. It would be great for this info to be in the power descriptions so it's clear and people don't have to guess. Even trying to figure this stuff out using CoD is a PITA for sets like Traps because they're all pseudo-pets, and it's not always clear what is autohit and what's not.
  8. Just tested this today, and the stealth in Steamy Mist does in fact stack.
  9. Ooof, yeah, you deleted it when you cleared the tray. That's the only place they exist. Once you delete the macro button it's gone.
  10. Well I learned something new today.
  11. I don't think there is any way to do this, but I'd be curious to see if anyone has ideas. Your macro should be there someplace. I don't think I've ever had macros disappear after a respec. Did you check all the trays?
  12. So the change will make it a 15 sec debuff that will persist even if they leave the puddle? Did you also change the damage to do the same, or will that continue to be only if in the puddle?
  13. Re: speed; The thing about debuffing is that you don't need them on a team that's steamrolling thru mobs, except when you run into an EB, AV, or the occasional tough Boss. so it doesn't really matter how fast they are. The times when they are the most useful are when things are slow and your debuffs will serve to speed things up. If things are already moving quickly don't bother with debuffs and just attack or buff.
  14. 1980 to be exact.
  15. I think he's OK since he's not trying to make her look like the actress/model/has been. Well they were freshly deceased, so it was still probably good.
  16. Unless it's changed recently you used to have to be level 40 to get the arc, so if you want to take one of the PPPs at level 35 or 38 you need to team with someone who can get it. There is one mission that's a defeat all, for speed purposes you can just auto-complete that one and move on. IIRC you also don't have to finish the arc, you just need the badge.
  17. The +defense and +resistances in Steamy Mist definitely stack. Not sure about the stealth tho. Hurricane will also stack with other Hurricanes.
  18. If the debuff isn't persistent on PvE critters standing in the puddle then yeah, there's something wrong.
  19. Steamy Mist gives buffs while Hurricane is debuffs, so yeah, you can use them together.
  20. Also check to see if the damage is ticking away. It should work like the defense debuff; they will continue to take damage as long as they're in the puddle but not once they leave. I do know the puddle is a pseudo-pet, not sure if that has anything to do with it.
  21. I don't know enough about how debuffs work in PvP to give you a good answer. Isn't there some kind of suppression mechanism at work for multiple applications of the same buff and debuff? That each application within a set amount of time triggers a % resistance that fairly quickly makes you immune to it for awhile?
  22. I wondering if this has something to do with how some Spider parts aren't visible till after you respec at level 24.
