  1. Here's my concern with it. Used to be, Alignment Merits were the answer to the question, "Why should I bother playing a Hero/Villain as opposed to a Rogue/Vigilante?" They payoff on their Morality missions was just better. If they now all pay off the same, I'm not sure how to answer that question anymore.
  2. OK, I just did my second Hero morality mission on one character, and while the first one gave me 50 RMs, this one only granted 20. Is that really WAI?
  3. According to the wiki ITF gives 26 merits (and that number sounds in the right ballpark with what I remember). Are the disadvantages supposed to reward more merits? If so that's the only part that's bugged.
  4. Is there a global channel associated with this yet? If not, did someone create one? I probably won't be there right at 9, but if I can get there late I'd still like to.
  5. Right? Those make me feel like I make the Lost dudes look chic.
  6. Alignment missions give fewer merits than they used to, but it seems most rewards cost fewer merits, so it seems tht it all comes out roughly even.
  7. I can't recall, apart from Kismet, are there any other "low hanging fruit" sources of +ToHit? I don't recall that the version I was using on i24 Beta back then had Tactics, but I had Kismet, and I think I was set up to get the bonus during the durations of either Aim or Build Up, and whenever I popped a yellow.
  8. Um, if this was working, would Homecoming (Beta) be showing in the top left corner of Tequila, alongside Homecoming, Paragon Chat, and Icon? Just a bit confused.
  9. Hmm, I had a Scrapper version of this back in the day. He wasn't IO'ed out, I might not have even gotten him to 50 (might have been "only" the 40s) but I remember him as being very capable. No real problem with end. If I remember later, I'll try and dig up his Mids build. If I've still got it, I'll post it. EDIT: Hey, I've still got it! I think most of this was just "wish listing" for this guy, so take the IOs with a grain of salt. 10. Another once and future Mind/Psi here, and basically QFT. Well stated.
  11. Thanks for the update!
  12. Man I swear, people keep pushing the Christmas season earlier and earlier... ;) Just kidding.
  13. Hmm, Bonfire becomes a 40% chance every 2s. Do you think that IO is still worth considering for that? I'm leaning toward yes.
  14. Oh, well in light of that a lot of my concerns are pretty much allayed. Thanks.
  15. Hey there, So back in the dark days, I used Sentinel+ to make XML records of all of my old characters. Is there any way to get the costume data out of those files into a format usable on these servers? Later on, Generator
  16. I was just thinking about this last night and I cant recall. You could complete all of the DA contacts' arcs, once a week, to earn [something], some doodad that was key to advancing your Incarnate ability, and I'm utterly blocked on what it was. Was it a Notice of the Well? All I remember or sure is that that's how my Fire Brute on Freedom did all his Incarnate stuff, I didn't run trials over on that server.
  17. I don't know about the worst, but playing Electric Armor was really a labor of love until, as you said, Conserve Power became Energize, at which point my Brute became an electrified wrecking ball. Before that I tried to make do with Aid Self which, well, it wasn't ideal, I'll leave it at that.
  18. The version of the game you're playing is Issue 24, which included (among other things) a revamp of KR. The wiki's information details how the game looked at the time of its shutdown on the live server.
  19. Up in the top right, the female figure over proto-BAB's shoulder always used to strike me as being kinda-sorta-Luminary?
  20. By Web planner, you mean Suckerpunch's planner, via the link at the top of this thread? That's only as far as Issue 16 compatible, unless you mean something else that would have a lot of holes in it.
  21. Wow, now Perez Park misadventures, those I remember fondly. I recall blundering through the undergrowth, then suddenly seeing a lamppost and being all, "I'm saved! Follow that to freedom!"
  22. Is there anything that runs on mobile, for when I don't feel like giving work my undivided attention? :)
  23. Tired Gen-Xer who never had the patience for that nonsense, but po-tay-to, po-tah-to. :D
  24. Even if that's true, an Alignment Merit was "worth" more than 50 Reward Merits, my memory has them valued at about 100:1 instead of the 50:1 we're getting now. Also, simply pput, I don't see why the reward was changed.
