  3. Hey, So I've been playing this Radiation/Atomic Blaster, and he's been phenomenally fun. Almost as much fun as my Elec/Elec. :) But I don't really have a solid plan for what I'm doing with him, so far it's all been improv, which will work great, right up until it doesn't. What I've got is below, and any feedback anyone would care to give would be great. (All the IOs are level-appropriate, a few are IO-25s but most are actually 15s, but that will obviously change over time. Key question: I'm close to 26, at which point Neutron Bomb would be available. I already have Irradiate and Electron Haze. Do I really need 3 AOEs? If not, which one should I skip?   4. I'm with you Vanden, maybe I was having wrongbadfun back in the day but my Inv/SS never had a problem with Rage in endgame content.
  5. In ddition to Erydanus' comment, I'll also throw in that the Leadership toggles are a lot of end cost for not a lot of return. Ditch 'em.

Hey folks, So I'm interested in trying a Sentinel, but I'm just wondering, is there any forum post/website/wiki page anywhere that has an offline description of what the Sentinel versions of power sets do differently? To cite an example, I know what Fire Bast does for a Blaster, and what Fiery Aura does for a Brute/Scrapper/Tanker, but if I make a Fire^2 Sentinel, what changes? (Just so we're clear, I'm not "asking for a fish," so much as I'm "asking if there's a resource where I can read up on fish." :) Thanks! Generator
  9. This does not sound like "get the Performance Shifter proc piece" kinds of issues. I agree with Vanden, let folks take a look at your build in the approporiate AT forum (IIRC you said Brute). Be as specific as possible, Mids/Pine build will be a huge help.
  10. Hey there, Let me throw this out there. I love the idea behind the Empowerment Stations, my issue has always been that the duration feels ust a bit too short to be useful. So, I think upping the buff durations would be very QOL-ish. Assuming you agree, what's a good duration? I think if they at least went to 2 hours (up from the current 1), that justifies the time & trouble at their current pricing. If they were to go longer, I think that would warrant upping the amount of salvage needed to grant each buff. Any thoughts? Generator
  11. 5-slot for PBAoE Damage Set and add one of these in the 6th slot so you can heal yourself by using Frozen Aura. How well does that work in PPM-world?
  12. Not everyone is built for that, so don't go taking away Interrupt Rdx based on that assumption.
  13. Are you aware this item can be controlled via Options? I always set it to forget it, slide both to 50 or whatever.

  16. I'll try and remember to give it a spin tonight. :) If you're still working with it, the first version of Pine I used didn't have the Pyre Mastery for Defenders and Corruptors that's in the i25 patch notes. Any chance you can stick that in?

  18. I think you're really on to something. For me, that "Psionic + debuffs" issue was often the heart of the matter. More so the debuffs, really. Nothing ruins your day like those Carnie Ring Mistresses and their huge -Regen/Recov debuff, for instance. I think back in the day, my response to this was to use my Destiny Slot for Ageless Radial, which offers huge chunks of debuff resistance. Other than that, myresponse was to try and not get hit by said debuffs. Not sure where the next step to take this leads, jut thinking out loud for now. Generator

  21. Hey, So as a long time Elec user, one of my real peeves about VS was always that it was a multi-step process to use it. In a fight, both of my hands are on the keyboard, but to drop a Sparky, I had to go get my mouse, drop the Sentinel, then get my right hand back on the keyboard. Enter issue 25, and the powexec_location command. Want to just drop a Voltaic Sentinel right in front of you? Bind or marco the following: powexec_location 0:5 "voltaic sentinel" That puts Sparky 5 feet in front of you. Done. Happy blasting! Generator
  22. Thats's exactly what I'm trying to figure out, best plan to optimize. Invul is weak to Psi, so naturally I'd like to mitigate that, but softcapping defense is a necessity too. The thing is, I don't think you can do both in the same build. You'll have to pick one on which to focus.

  24. As happens frequently, I think optimizers have overstated the case. Is it resisted more? Yes. Enough to make those sets unplayable? God, no. Play what you want. Enjoy. Life's too damn short.
