  1. You’re the one engaging in magical thinking that one thing doesn’t take time from another, an indisputable fact of basic physics.
  2. And fundamentally you are wrong about this statement. Absolutely spending time doing one thing means not spending time doing another thing. Period.
  3. This statement applies to you. You have no clue what takes any time away from anything else and none of your statements about it need be taken with any seriousness at all because of that fact.
  4. At which point I leave the team and put the team leader on my block list. This game is so incredibly easy and for anybody to take it so seriously that they block people for using knockback powers in a way they don’t like is Incredibly immature and self centered. It is not a reasonable reaction. It is an over reaction.
  5. Yes, absolutely it does. I’m not gonna take time to argue this to explain it to you because it’s plainly obvious. “ it did not OMGCHANGETHEWHOLEGAME” I don’t think you really understand the relative significance of the changes being discussed.
  6. Ok, here's an attempt. I would prefer to keep this selection of powers, but if anyone has any suggestions for better slottings I'm all ears. In particular if there was a way to get more recharge into Nova, but it's not too bad as is. 7. nevermind, PvP effects was clicked on by accident
  8. Knockback already does scale with archetype to the extent it needs to which is simply that there are buff and control sets with strong knock down and knock back abilities such as storm summoning, force field, and more.
  9. I really hope the Homecoming team is not sacrificing their personal lives, family lives, to get so much work done so quickly on CoH. But thank you!
  10. I just noticed Mids is showing Tough giving my Blaster Res to ALL.
  11. Regardless of whether you're right or not, you come across as a self righteous jerk when you say stuff like this.
  12. My main goal is to free up slots to get -KB into my AoEs while keeping overall self defense around the same or better. BTW, those examples you posted are both Energy with Electricity.
  13. I think this is actually just a bad idea. Here’s why. In the vast majority of cases abilities that do either KB, CC, or End Drain do not do good damage or have only a percentage chance to have their affect. There are only a very very few exceptional abilities, like clobber, that have these secondary effects at 100% chance. This is entirely by design. These are some of the most powerful effect in the game. Far more powerful than -to hit or minus defense. If you hit somebody with knock back they’re essentially held for the next couple seconds. I will say again, while this is an interesting idea that could be fun it Requires a wholesale rebalancing of the entire game.
  14. I think a much more likely proposition is a new power set that utilizes this mechanic. That could be fun and interesting and doable.
  15. there there, kitten. it's comin soon.
  16. CoH2 There's really no realistic possibility of our volunteer dev team rewriting and rebalancing the game from the ground up like that. It's a neat idea.
  17. Yeah, it really is a to each their own thing. I vastly prefer the new version of the raid, but I agree it is frustrating getting locked out.
  18. You are missing the point and being an elitist jerk. Read my suggestions for changing these powers on the previous page of this thread.
  19. This game is about accessibility and this attitude is unhelpful and unnecessary.
  20. Nevertheless, the game is still primarily balanced around SOs. SR could use some love, sure, but Ice is a very strong armor set.
  21. Personally I like that idea but it might be too much breaking of the cottage rule.
  22. No solution that doesn’t include toggle suppression is going to be acceptable to most triform players.
  23. Here are my suggestions: I'd say give Kuji-In Retsu and Elude the MoG treatment. Make them a lot shorter yet also add strong Regen to them. Lower the recharge, but continue to allow recharge enhancements. No crash at all. Give Power Surge, Overload, and Unstoppable the OwtS/SoW treatment. Make them only slightly less powerful and only slightly shorter, and lower the recharge considerably. Do not allow recharge buffs to effect them. Reduce the crashes considerably. Alter Granite Armor so that it has lower values but STACKS with the other armors instead of replacing them. Allow Jumping (with severe limits) while in Granite Armor, but Not in Rooted. Maybe add a little endurance to Dark Regen but leave the self rez as is? Maybe add some S/L res to Temperature Protection but leave the self rez as is? And make Hibernate itself cause an AoE Taunt effect. Oh, and give Tankers Energy Aura. Change the numbers to make it work. That's a neat idea. Maybe lower health though, but with full values. 30% perhaps.
  24. Math. 2×4.63 is not 13.42.
