  1. Brutes are fine. They do hit harder than Tankers, they just don't hit as many foes at once. Against a single enemy or a smaller group, the Brute does more damage. On teams they can be as tough as Tankers. There's no problem to be solved here. These two AT's are as balanced as they need to be.
  2. This varies by ambush. Some know where you are and some don't.

  4. Assault Rifle IS a lot better at AoE than Ice.

  6. I love how one person is like "all the nerfs" and in another thread someone is like "HC is constantly buffing things, what's with all the power creep?" Sounds like "juuuuust right" to me.
  7. Sniper Rifle doesn't have interrupt time in the fast version. Not sure where you got that. I agree it's kinda slow, but that's all.

  9. In general I like these ideas, but specifically the Hollows I disagree. Flux should remain a regular contact. I think SOME zones can have just a Trial instead of a TF (Hollows, Eden, etc)
  10. I don't know what you mean by "relevant". If you enjoy playing Claws/Elec I'm sure it will be perfectly fine. The game is incredibly flexible.

  12. What I want is for rescuees to be untouchable until AFTER you free them. When I rescue Thunderhead Bartlett he should NOT be able to be killed by AoEs before I've even freed him.
  13. FFXIV characters typically have about 30 buttons and the game is explicitly designed for console. The cross hotbar system they use works very well.
  14. I understand what you’re trying to do with it, and for that you can use an epic set aoe control. But the reason the power is in your secondary is to be a defensive aura that chases enemies away.
  15. It's not unnecessary, it's literally the point of the power, to chase away enemies trying to hit you in melee.
  16. Master of Cones Boost Range+Sniper Blast gives you a HUGE range increase, making your cones enormous
  17. I agree it’s annoying, but it’s definitely a tutorial. They introduce you to game concepts in those arcs.
  18. You’d still get the same drops. This would simply change the recipe requirements.
  19. Don't be shocked if this eventually gets fixed. It's supposed to only have a 10% chance to KD when the enhancement is added, just like Repulsion Field, etc.
  20. It should be changed back. It should absolutely introduce you to all five.
  21. not completely sure, as coding and the details of CoD are a mystery to me, but I think it may have to do with whatever tech allows the DoT to be of variable length depending on the Confuse duration.
  22. At this point though I think it becomes part of the larger discussion about the remaining big crash t9s. Unstoppable, Power surge, Overload, Elude, and Kuji in Retsu (am I forgetting any?) should all be modified to have smaller crashes with equivalent levels of power.
  23. Since the market buckets salvage, this actually makes a lot of sense.
  24. It seems clear that the reason I have been disappointed with DP is because I play starting from 1 and I don’t add sets and procs until very high level if ever. Most powersets that’s not a problem for me. With DP it feels like an issue.
