  1. Savage Melee or Savage Assault
  2. I'm not sure I think this is a good idea. But I'll play along. IF I thought this was a good idea, here's how I would do it: Tough and Kick get switched in order. Tough gets nerfed slightly. Kick gets buffed slightly. Done.
  3. The set needed something to contribute more when people weren’t in danger. That was the problem. That has now been fixed. Force Bubble can be learned, but making it useful on a big team is a chore and a half. They tried Detention as a toggle and it was even more niche instead of less, so they’ll come back to it later.
  4. Claiming that a defense buff is a damage buff is really ridiculous. I look forward to these buffs. Very glad the unnecessarily enormous Force Bubble has been shrunk down, and very glad to be finally getting some actual offensive debuffs. Finally a reason to play the set.
  5. I don’t need to quote a source. The evidence IS the change. The fact this was done indicates that the Devs believe there is such a requirement.
  6. it is not flawed. just because I didn’t use the word directly. There is no requirement for sets to be identical, there is a requirement for Support sets to Directly increase killing speed.
  7. And these would be slottable in the secondary?
  8. The problem it fixes is FF was the ONLY Support set with no way to increase team damage. The amount of -Res is not anywhere near as strong as Sleet. These changes bring FF in line with other sets.
  9. They were always going to be a little a lower damage than Scrappers. Seems to me they came about as close as they can without going too far.
  10. I would try to dismiss the feeling that one has to use it all the time. You have increased perception and tohit resist all the time, and you have Vulnerability for when you really need it: AVs, EBs, some Bosses, specific mobs like Sorcerers, Sappers, etc. It can sit there unused sometimes and it's no big deal. The red ring doesn't mean "use me now", it just means "2 charges are ready".
  11. The Controller's version provides higher levels of team safety. All ATs are balanced primarily for team contribution, even those that solo better than others.
  12. You can set it to auto if you want. And you can make a key bind to set it to auto.
  13. Just a question, because this stood out to me. Everything else you wrote was pretty positive, you didn't really explain this statement. What's clunky about it?
  14. My point was that -Regen does not increase effectiveness on teams, It’s of the same effectiveness regardless.
  15. Someone should correct me if I’m wrong but I thought -Regen ISN’T really a Force Multiplying debuff but more like an additional source of damage that scales not with team damage but with enemy hp and regen.
  16. It's not going to happen without a good reason. Since the bots now perform Better either on teams or solo, with or without the -Regen, it's probably just not going to happen. "Because it's different and I don't like it" isn't actually a good reason.
  17. If the Blaster is making you feel useless then the difficulty is too low.
  18. Just tested this on Brainstorm. It DOES work, but like I said the KD chance is very low. IMO the new Repulsion Field is more useful without the KB2KD in it.
  19. So, with the new Repulsion Field, a good strategy is to position yourself facing into a corner and then Wormhole the enemies between you and the corner. Repulsion Field will immediately pin them into the corner.
  20. Knockback with Magnitude lower than 1 is Knockdown. The way the KB2KD enhancements work is they lower the magnitude by like 1000, so any KB the power does will become KD. On "patch" powers, such as Bonfire or Repulsion Field, adding KB2KD both lowers the magnitude (turning KB to KD) and ALSO lowers the chance from whatever it was to 10%.
  21. A pattern of fixing inconsistencies so the game is predictable to new players, yes.
  22. AoE kb "patches" (including Repulsion Field) become only 10% chance with kb2kd, live and test, unless there is a bug. Bonfire, for example, is bugged, for now.
  23. the kd chance is very low, but if they are truly not getting knocked down at all then that is a bug and should be reported as such.
  24. It should still be knockdown with no repel if you put in kb2kd
