  1. It may not be the stated reason, but it’s the real effect. Frankly, I don’t understand the reasoning at all. Who was using these things, then going into an event that didn’t allow temps and complaining about it?

  4. I basically said this before, and I still feel this way. 90% of players are going to feel this way. No matter how many times you say that they have been designed for travel, not combat, that is not how people are going to see them.

  6. You are not the only one, no. The changes to Tesla Cage may not make it a must take power for the min maxers but many players will like it, I think.
  7. The change to Sleeps gave me an idea. A possible fix for the powers Sonic Cage and Detention Field. 1. Sonic Cage and Detention Field are now Auto Hit in PvE. 2. Taking Sonic Cage or Detention Field also gives you another power (Sonic Key or Force Key) that removes the Cage or Field and can only be used on the target of your Cage or Field. Done. And give Black Hole the Dimension Shift treatment.
  8. how about option 3: amplifier cost scales with level, timers don’t run while temps are off, but amplifiers are not available after level 25.
  9. Side note: I think the reason this was given only to Blasters is because defeating the enemy before it reaches you is more important on the class with no CC, Armor, or Buffs.
  10. @Captain Powerhouse Can we get some clarification here? Has the temporary range buff that blasters get from using their sniper attacks been removed from all fast snipes? If so, when did that happen and where is that patch note?
  11. I’m not entirely sure what you’re talking about here. If you’re talking about the boosted range that blasters get after using their sniper attack, that was always only blasters, and as far as I am aware (at least on other power sets) you still get that buff both from fast sniper and slow sniper. if you’re simply talking about the long range of slow sniper attacks, that was removed from fast snipes back in page 2. Am I misunderstanding either your comment or this patch note?
  12. does this extra run speed pass the expanded cap of SS? If not, then what is the point? Capping out superspeed is easy already.

  14. Not if you want, in many cases, to have all your attacks and defenses.
  15. The rains simply finish their cast, that's not really the same thing. I did forget about the Gun Drone.
  16. Some people want to play a melee toon that doesn't draw aggro and is not a rogue. Scrappers are for them. For those that want taunt on their scrappers there are 6 secondaries with taunt auras. There's also a pool power aoe taunt and a partial uptime incarnate taunt aura.
  17. Conversely, no Blast set had a power that keeps attacking while you're mezzed (Defiance notwithstanding) except for Electric, and now it's in the same boat everyone else has always been in.
  18. All control sets, and also electrical blast in particular, have methods of preventing enemy action. Also, brake frees are a thing.You have the tools to prevent yourself from getting mezzed in the first place. Use them.
  19. It also depends a little bit on how strong the +perception is. I remember testing the other +perception IO back in the day and discovering that it wasn’t good enough to even penetrate regular mobs stealth or blindness.

  21. Flashfire, the Fire Control AoE Stun, inexplicably requires the primary target to be grounded.
  22. Then I suggest changing the Teleport one to make it actually improve travel as the others do.
  23. The real problem piece is the Running special, because there’s no combat power to put it in. The Flying, Jumping, and Teleport specials will work ok. The Running one I don’t really have a suggestion if you aren’t going to let it be a set bonus. Seems like you’re shooting yourselves in the foot on this piece.
  24. Then make them extensions of the travel power. The current design you have is all stuff for combat, not travel.
  25. If the intention is for them to go in travel powers, then they should be designed to go in travel powers. So it makes no sense to have an element of them that requires them to be on during combat.
