  1. Thx for the lvl'ing build and info in general. When I mentioned AV soloing it was in regards to the ones at the end of the TFs. I've never seen it mentioned about rad melee doing that. It's making me think of dusting my Rad/Fa brute off for more than just farming. Also giving my thoughts on an Rad/Inv Scrapper or Brute.
  2. Am I the only one impressed that Rad Melee is soloing AV's?
  3. Agreed with all of the above, my Rad/Fire is close to 90% res to S/L
  4. Thx for the input from both of you. Is missing MG an issue? I'm sure it puts out plenty of damage, just the idea of skipping the T9 is messing with my programming.
  5. Hey, @Sovera, if you had this to do all over again, would you still go Scrapper over Brute? I saw in another post that you mentioned a Em/Rad Scrapper, how would you compare the two, Dm/ vs Em? And thx for the builds listed. If you're feeling generous, perhaps I could interest you in offering up a lower budget (no winter-o or purple) build
  6. I'd be interested in this as well.
  7. Yeah, I played the ASF once it hit open beta, and it was certainly tough. Rad is one of those armors that I'm interested in, yet have only played once. Same with Ice melee, it being an attack set though. I've seen people mention here on the boards that rad can be as tough as /Inv, and /Inv is, IMHO, the best armor set.
  8. That's something I'd like to see. I haven't tried a Rad Armor toon since the powerset was first released. Was that live?
  9. Didn't you post that toon in the costume thread? I remember really liking both the backstory and the costume.
  10. Isn't this being updated in Page 3? I could have sworn I saw something about it in the patch notes.
  11. Not sure how to post pics without cluttering up my small hard drives storage, so for the sake of my sanity, I'll post the thread I saw in Quora, complete with scans. https://www.quora.com/What-are-Spider-Mans-greatest-feats-of-strength
  12. I appreciate (see what I did there) all of the comments. Seeing as how I have done /SR twice, (br00t and scrapper), I think I'll try my hand at /Nin. @Erratic1 and @BrandX have convinced me to go /Nin. Now, anyone know of a guide to either set? I want to familiarize myself with the powers before I go off trying to make a build. Thanks all.
  13. I took this idea when CoV first came out and made my first brute. A SS/SR that was operating undercover while working with Longbow. Man, was that guy fun.
  14. I was thinking Robin III (Tim) as a Staff/ As far as Willpower, wouldn't that be more Moon Knights bag? I admit to not ever having read any of his comics (I know, shame on me), but I thought he was for brute force, drawing the attention of his foes, him wearing white, and all that.
  15. That's a good point. One I didn't think of. Guess I should dust off my Fm/Inv and finally get him T4 incarnates.
  16. I've been contemplating rolling up a Street Justice toon, and have a question for the masses. I'm wondering if the Batman, and other characters, (his various sidekicks, Midnighter, Moon Knight, etc...), would fit better as Scrappers, or Stalkers. Also, would /Sr or /Nin fit better? Any opinions are welcome, as well as just a general discussion. Thx Homecoming community.
  17. Wouldn't the Bat, and all of his sidekicks by extension, be Stalkers?
  18. I loved the Centurions!
  19. Thank's for the info folks, I'm not really into soloing the Pylons, though I do understand they are a pretty good yard stick to measure against. I loved Elec on my Elec/Sd scrapper, just wasn't satisfied with the ST. Unfortunately, I stripped him and scrapped him. (See what I did there?) Though I just remembered that we have a test server, so I can get on there to check this out for myself, then decide if I actually want to build another Scrapper, or try my hand at a Stalker.
  20. So, I'm looking at making a new Scrapper alt, and was curious as to whether or not it would be possible to make the st damage improve? I had one back when HC first became public, but while the AoE was great, the st was just to weak for me. I like soloing AV's and other such things. I've never used any of the snipes in the patron pools before, so I was curious if boosting damage via Incarnates, and replacing a regular attack with Zapp might make Elec melee more than a one trick pony. Thoughts and advice appreciated, calling me crazy is ok as well. I have the paperwork to back up your claim.
  21. John Wayne Bobbitt would have words with you
  22. Hellstryker here. This was honestly the most fun I've had playing in a long ass time. The steampunk automaton had me legit laughing out loud. My wife was annoyed, but I placated her. (Chocolate)
  23. This. This is perfectly acceptable.
  24. As I tell my teenager, what you say matters. Especially in a format where we can't pick up any cues fromy body movemont, inflection of your voice, or facial expression. Take this case for example, you're not saying, let's test it and see how it effects things. You're flat out saying no, this is why, there's no need to test because powergamers would abuse this, and make a game that is already easy because of power creep, IO's, Incarnate abilities possibly easier for a percentage of the playerbase, while blocking creativity for the rest of the playerbase. Like the roleplayers. On a roleplaying game. No need to test it, I said so. Look what they did on Thunderspy. Even though I know that won't happen here because our devs DO put things on test and DO listen to player feedback, especially when provided evidence from folks such as Bopper and GalaxyBrain.
