Do you think that the changes they've made, like not allowing Energy Melees T9 not critting for the full amount, could be used on KoB? I know that was one of the concerns that most have mentioned.

Has shield melee been put in the suggestions topic yet? Shield/Shield would be the best flavor of awesome sauce.

My problem with /Ea is Energy Cloak. I deleted a scrapper after I got it, because I couldn't see the costume I had worked so hard on.

I'd be up for both. Never got a tank past the low 20's. That was before the revamp. And a big thanks to everyone who contributed to the conversation.

I had a Dm/Wp br00t back on live that I was soloing redside on when it we were shut down,and I currently have a Em/Rad scrapper I am putting the final touches on( that should have probably been a br00t), and a Fm/Inv br00t that I played near nonstop when Homecoming became public knowledge. I love both Em and Inv, haven't tried Dm since shut down. I feel the same as @Without_Pause about Em and it's single target chain. @Bill Z Bubba, have you ever given any though to a Em/Sr toon, or would that wind up killing itself from the self damage. Altitis can be a pain sometimes. Thanks for the responses. P.s. Please ignore the discombobulated way my thoughts are strung together. My brain just ain't right.

Sorry, but this was the number 2 post on google when I searched this combo. @Snarky, I know that you are a lover of /Inv, but did you ever get this built? And @Without_Pause, what about you? I mostly play toons that are homages to my favorite characters, and Wolvie is number 1 for me. I had a claws/regen scrapper back on live, and I haven't fiddled with re-rolling him yet.

I've finished my last project and ready to start another homage toon. I've never really tried either set, but does one shine above the other? Is it just a preference between the animations?

I'd appreciate a lvl'ing build. When you have a chance, of course.

Thx for the lvl'ing build and info in general. When I mentioned AV soloing it was in regards to the ones at the end of the TFs. I've never seen it mentioned about rad melee doing that. It's making me think of dusting my Rad/Fa brute off for more than just farming. Also giving my thoughts on an Rad/Inv Scrapper or Brute.

Thx for the input from both of you. Is missing MG an issue? I'm sure it puts out plenty of damage, just the idea of skipping the T9 is messing with my programming.

Hey, @Sovera, if you had this to do all over again, would you still go Scrapper over Brute? I saw in another post that you mentioned a Em/Rad Scrapper, how would you compare the two, Dm/ vs Em? And thx for the builds listed. If you're feeling generous, perhaps I could interest you in offering up a lower budget (no winter-o or purple) build

Yeah, I played the ASF once it hit open beta, and it was certainly tough. Rad is one of those armors that I'm interested in, yet have only played once. Same with Ice melee, it being an attack set though. I've seen people mention here on the boards that rad can be as tough as /Inv, and /Inv is, IMHO, the best armor set.

That's something I'd like to see. I haven't tried a Rad Armor toon since the powerset was first released. Was that live?

Didn't you post that toon in the costume thread? I remember really liking both the backstory and the costume.
