What you can do is switch back to blue (Hero/Vigi), then talk to them... even accept a mission. Then abandon the mission so that your mission list is empty. then switch alignment. I think it's a bit trickier if you switched alignment mid arc. in any case, they should go to inactive contacts after switching.

Since you "made a character yesterday", I'm assuming the game loaded properly and you got as far as the character creation screen. After choosing your origin, archetype, powers, body, costume, customisation... were you able to register your toon (with a name that hasn't been taken) and land in Galaxy, Atlas, or Mercy? If not, then you didn't complete the character creation process. But if you managed to set foot in the actual game, then I suspect you're loggin on to a different shard. You can check all the shards (Everlasting, Indomitable, Torchbearer, Reunion, Excelsior) by pressing the BACK button on the lower left of your character creation screen. Your spanking new toon should be on the first slot of the first page. Alternatively, you can type your character name in the search field (also lower left of the character creation screen) and it will display your toon. It's been known to "misplace" your toon sometimes, but it usually happens when you have pages of alts already.

Offhand 100mil seems low... that's almost like just 1mil per IO. If you're planning to buy them directly from the AH, you'll most likely come up short. You can stretch your budget by buying cheap and converting, but that's also a sort of gamble. Finally, do a search for "farming" threads. I remember coming across one a few weeks back detailing how to start a farmer from level 1. In that thread, it posts several build "stages" or upgrades to switch IOs as you earn more inf before you reach the final build. One of those might work for you.

1. Don't sweat it too much. It's a game. Have fun, enjoy. You'll be fine. I usually stick to 8 things that I click. The rest would be toggles or clickies on auto. My wee brain can't handle any more than that, and I don't have enough fingers. Besides, most of the people who play this game have seen a few too many winters, so you're definitely not alone. Sooner or later, you'll find your tribe and it won't matter how old or how much you suck... trust me. 2 & 3. I suggest you do some solo missions early on. this will let you learn and get a feel for your powers. And if you can survive solo, then you'll be pulling your weight on a team. I think you've got your AT and powers chosen. good luck and good hunting. 😃 P.S. don't be afraid to try out other ATs and power combinations.

I think the people above have most of it covered. I'd just like to add that the rarity of an IO (uncommon, rare, PVP, very rare) do not necessarily translate to higher kind = better. some uncommon (yellow or otherwise cheaper) IOs come with very nice set bonuses depending on how to build your toon. Once you get the hang of it, try frankenslotting, when you put IOs from different sets to get different procs and/or set bonuses on a power. Welcome to the complicated world of builds. I doubt that there are are any two builds exactly the same, or used the same. When I was starting out, I'd look at other people's builds. it helped if they came with explanations as to why this was slotted there. Then I'd add my own changes to better fit my personal play style.

I'd like to put a vote in for Elec/. My elec/elec fender is an AV killer levelling up. He's 50 now, but I haven't earned any incarnates yet. A little too strong that I find him boring, especially after the patch that made elec stronger in general.

What level were you when he told you to buzz off? I remember getting a mouthful from the other patrons for trying to continue the subsequent arcs before the required level. But retroactively, they won't turn you away for trying the earlier arcs when you're say at 47. Except Scirocco. He/she gets moody sometimes

You can get some of the midnighters to help if you bring it near the mansion. But don't bring it too close to the respawn (hospital) that you'll get insta-killed before you get any toggles up. And focus on him, don't mind the spawns/adds.

You can mod your SFX to save your eardrums. I've installed some client-side mods that helped me enjoy the game more. Have a look here: There's a quieter lightning powers, and one that I particularly enjoy a lot is the beam rifle edit. I believe a few don't work with the recent patches, so there's that.

Been hitting the character creation again coughing up costumes and concepts. I find myself yearning for: Blaster primaries/Scrapper or Brute primaries Scrapper or Brute primaries/Blaster secondaries Blaster primaries/Dom secondaries Brute or Scrapper primaries/Dom secondaries. haha, I'm a blapper through and through... and occasionally a Brutinator.

I personally think Mako's is the easiest AV/EB at the end. Black Scorpion "feels" like the fastest since the mission doors tend to be closer together (save for one in St.Martial) and the missions themselves are in smaller maps. Ghost Widow's is slightly tougher with a celebrity AV, "weakened" Numina... only because of the Longbow Ambushes every quarter health. I rarely do Scirocco's because of how the mission (maps) are designed. That said, though Serafina is a pushover, especially with 2 Fortunatas to assist you, you still get two missions that will have you tangle with Barracuda (EB/Boss) and Silver Mantis (AV/EB) which I think are two of the toughest buggers in Arachnos. Purely preference on my part. All of them have really good stories, though. Even the ones after the Patron Badge. Incidentally, only Mako's 3rd arc (Iron Fist) gives a temp Bane Summon (3 days???) I just repeat it from the Pillar to keep having a bane by my side. Black Scorpion's portal stuff will help you earn the Fake Nems, Warhulk and Jaeger badges for the sheer number of spawns in 2 missions.

You can do the Patron Unlock Arc (Armor Wars) as early as 35. Next arc (Chink in the Armor) won't be given until you're 40, and similarly, the next one until the last at 45. You'll never out-0level him, so if you're 45-50, you can do everything starting from his first arc.

Good on ya! Next up is Posi 2 😃 a couple more up the ladder and you'll be thoroughly addicted. The only one I really had trouble with on a Blaster was Manti's with Hopkins and the Countess ganging up on my huge psi-hole. Once you're done blue side, you'll be ready to take on red-side TFs solo 😃

There might be a way you can "fake" this yourself. Customise your first costume to set MA's animations a certain way, then the second costume slot to another setting. Switch between costumes to cycle through the animations. Now if can find the syntax to set a macro to fire on a timer, it's just a matter of costume change every 11 seconds. (no emote or cce means less interruption during a fight).

Ya, I get it. but if they're phased, then your mouse pointer won't select them as well. or make the Portal float about 10ft in the air.

Ever notice how most blue missions are Defeat (cough KILL cough) All, while most redside missions are steal this, kidnap that?

I foresee a lot of Malta Sappers will be picketing somewheres alongside Freak Juicers and Mu. 😃
