for attack target, there's a dedicated button for that (target or reticule icon). It appears on your tray when you first enter the game. As for follow, it also appears right off the bat (arrow icon). I usually just use those two actually. I'd click follow which puts them on defensive, but as soon as enemies appear, I just order them to attack which puts them on aggressive. If they stray too far, I call them back with Follow and then just have them attack again. I don't like them following in aggressive mode because they end up attacking everything they pass. On weaker toons, I take one of the defensive buttons from the pet window (advanced) and set my T2 pets to defensive while the rest attack.

Sorry guys, just have to vent and didn't want to do it in front of the kids. While cooking dinner, I misjudged the level of the boiling oil and pretty much deep fried 3 of my fingers. Then after a really hard time trying to get the spoon into my mouth, I went ahead to prepare the doggo's dinner. At which time my dogs fought for some trivial reason. in my effort to separate the two snarling boys, my other hand (not the burnt one) got bit. ...and I'm all out of beer. Sorry. Carry on.,

Haha. very true. I had to make my two poison toons into lizards just to reconcile the spitting in my RP head.

[Costume Contest!] Hero Corps Makes a Triumphant Return!

I suppose the prize is getting your costume implemented as an NPC... and our oohs and ahhs of admiration 😃 -
Electric Melee and Shield Defense combo, but what AT?
Six-Six replied to SuperPlyx's topic in Archetypes
Here's my personal way of differentiating ATs: Play a Tank if you don't want to die, and learn to manage aggro if you don't want your teammates to die. Play a Brute if you want to be a tank, but would much rather focus on leaving dead bodies. The Fury mechanic benefits from bigger mobs. Play a Scrapper if you'd rather solo more than team. Play a Stalker if you don't mind not seeing the costume you spent an hour on... and if you don't got time for them mobs, just go and kill the boss at the end. =). Again, not the most quantitative categorisation, but it works for me. -
From what I gather, there are two kinds of people who say a certain power set needs fixing: One camp is the one so vehemently into the power that they want the most out of it (and have some fairly good suggestions regarding how to go about its improvement); the other is the one that barely understands the power and would rather the universe follows how they want it to be. The rest that don't fall to either camp don't bother making suggestions or critiques and just enjoy it (or not) for what it is, or don't play it at all.

@GreyScribe After exhausting his career in Disney, Olaf decided to venture out to Paragon. =D Awesomeness -
Haven't played my sentinels in a good while, but from what I recall: The ATO +Chance for Opportunity works on a mob to fill your bar quicker (so 10 at the most???) Once your Opp bar is filled, you have a choice to fire T1 or T2 primary to use up the bar. It's been documented that you can fire both at the same time if you time it right. T1 gives you a damage buff and one foe -res (the reticule aura) for 8 seconds T2 gives you +recovery, +def??? and -res to a foe for 8 seconds IIRC, Opportunity is awesome in the lower levels, but tends to be eclipsed by other powers in the higher level and endgame. I'm definitely not sure about the values. do a search for Opportunity or @oldskool as he's practically the Sentinel Sensei.

I don't think you can enhance KB distance. KB Magnitude refers to how likely they are to be knocked back, not how far... otherwise, I would've enhanced my powers to max distance.

Just drag the screenshot into the reply. (while you're typing the reply, you'll see a footer with the paper clip icon that says "Drag files here to attach" or if you click the "choose files" you'll need to navigate to where your file is with your explorer. screen shots are usually small in file size, like >1mb, so you shouldn't have to worry about the file size limit. costume files are really small. -

It's a crab spider, so still a spider. or did you think it was the seafood kind? All Arachnos are spiders: Recluse Spider Huntsman Spider Wolf Spider Widow Spiders Fortune Telling Spiders Trapdoor Spider, (Arbiter) Sand Spider, Sun Spider (Kalinda) and yes, Crab spiders the thing on their chest should have been a giveaway, but I suppose not.

What you can do is switch back to blue (Hero/Vigi), then talk to them... even accept a mission. Then abandon the mission so that your mission list is empty. then switch alignment. I think it's a bit trickier if you switched alignment mid arc. in any case, they should go to inactive contacts after switching.

Since you "made a character yesterday", I'm assuming the game loaded properly and you got as far as the character creation screen. After choosing your origin, archetype, powers, body, costume, customisation... were you able to register your toon (with a name that hasn't been taken) and land in Galaxy, Atlas, or Mercy? If not, then you didn't complete the character creation process. But if you managed to set foot in the actual game, then I suspect you're loggin on to a different shard. You can check all the shards (Everlasting, Indomitable, Torchbearer, Reunion, Excelsior) by pressing the BACK button on the lower left of your character creation screen. Your spanking new toon should be on the first slot of the first page. Alternatively, you can type your character name in the search field (also lower left of the character creation screen) and it will display your toon. It's been known to "misplace" your toon sometimes, but it usually happens when you have pages of alts already.
