  1. Yeah, I guess you're right, that power recharges every 30 seconds. What if we gave Soul Transfer a double use. One use is to rez based off of enemies, the other use would be similar to Soul Absorption? it has a 300 second recharge, which gives it an almost twice as long recharge as Soul Absorption. I don't personally think that giving /Dark a 45 second Recovery buff based on how many targets it hits, every 300 base seconds would be OP. I think that would be a good compromise that gives /Dark just enough recovery utility without giving them constant endless endurance. it simply gives them a 45 second break from time to time from having to heavily manage toggles.
  2. Ditto. Or at very least, add a +Recovery buff to Dark Regeneration similar to the recovery buff from Soul Absorption.
  3. I just tested the other abilities, for whatever reason it only affects Assassin's Staff. I'm wondering if it has something to do with the fact that your abilities and Assassin's staff share a similar mechanic? They both have a charge up period, and under circumstances can cast instantly. That seems to be the one thing that your attacks and Assassin's Staff share along with using the Siphon powers.
  4. I have my Blasters...and I have my Blappers. I'm like you, I still build them. I unleash my AoEs and then jump in there and start melee slapping this hell out of them. Elec is also a good secondary for Blapping for anyone who wants to give it a try.

  6. Yeah, I had just put together a Moonfire team, took a bit to gather players for it, we were on about the third or fourth missions when things went kaput.

  8. The only attack I noticed it affect was the Assassin's Staff. None of the other abilities seem affected...or at least that I have noticed.
  9. This bug is repeatable and I have made a video of it. I'll quote you and post it so it gets your attention. This bug seems to take place after any type of AoE siphon powers used that do not do damage but rather drains the enemy's endurance and transfers it to you. Does this look like what you are experiencing with Whirling Smash? Edit: I used Siphon every other attempt to attack. Used nothing in between the ones that I used siphon.

  11. Ah okay, gotcha. Yeah, I am just going to wait and see after I play the set after the change and reserve further judgement until that time. All in all, I do love the news, looking forward to it. Worst case scenario, I just might pick up Flurry to fill in the 8 second gap if it turns out I have a time frame to fill. Come to think of it, I don't think it would bother me to have a reason to pick up Flurry. (My character is Speedster themed)

  13. I'm getting the same thing with Assassin's Staff. I have not been able to pinpoint how or why because it did not happen all of the time. However, I am also using a powerset that has a Power Sink effect called Energy Drain, which is pretty much exactly like Power Sink. I'm wondering if this similar effect is causing my delayed action to my attack as well. It animates like it is supposed to, but nothing happens until a second or two later...which is extremely odd. I chopped it up to server lag, but you may be on to something here. Glad you made this thread. So it's not just me...and it would seem it's not just one power. Makes me wonder if any other powers are affected.

  15. My thoughts. I love these patch notes, very excited! That wowed me completly. My negative thoughts. A bit long of a recharge on Shadow Maul. I foresee that upsetting some players. 16 seconds is a long time, I could see adding a couple seconds to it, but adding double the recharge time is a bit much. The change to Dark Consumption is just another Wow! I can't wait to try this out! I don't think the endurance leech reduction will hurt too much, will have to play it to see, but I am thinking in most situations it won't even be noticed as long as players use it to attack more than just a couple of baddies. However, where I can see it going wrong is if somebody uses it to teleport to the mob to gain much needed endurance, and somebody scatters the mob with a knock back right before you trigger the power, you'll teleport to the location and get next to nothing. Like I said though, I'll have to play it and reserve any further thoughts for that time. All in all, I fricken LOVE this new patch, great job, Devs! And thank you!

  24. It may say that in the description, but it never fails me. Really. Works every time.
  25. I am not speaking for him, but most PB players only use KB to KD in their AoE's and Cone attacks. I personally don't waste my time putting them in single target attacks.
