  1. Thanks for posting these, I never knew there was a third episode.
  2. CO's nemesis system mated with the customization we have with AE would be awesome.
  3. I was surprised they went with the classic yellow and red costume. Bold choice, though the muted colors make it less eye catching.
  4. So, maybe you've been sleeping on this little gem. I certainly was. But I finally gave it a watch these past few weeks and it's great. If you like your superheroes with a large dollop of the surreal and the absurd, you should definitely check this show out.
  5. Just watched it last night. It was okay but the mood whiplash was something else. In the first moments we jump from the tragedy of Gorr the God Butcher to Thor hamming it up with the Guardians to Jane has cancer. It felt like it should have been two separate movies.
  6. My forum name, and global handle, are the same on HC as they were on live. In fact, thanks to NCSoft's shenanigans, Ulysses became the default name and avatar on all of my gaming sites. I wanted other CoH refugees to know I was one too.
  7. He was the Wong man at the right time.
  8. No one listens to The Question. 😄
  9. Okay now that's a headscratcher. I mean, all she needs to do is wear black boots. It's not like those are hard to find.
  10. If you recruit people specifically to run Frostfire, most of the people you'll get are there to run Frostfire. They aren't there to follow you into a new zone and pursue a new arc. It might be because they only budgeted enough time for that one mission. It might be because they want to stay in the Hollows. It might be hundreds of things. If you want players who'll stick with you for a long time, you should make sure to spell that out in your recruitment. It'll take longer to fill the team but you'll have a better chance of getting the kind of players you want to team with.
  11. Griefing. Actually, deliberately screwing up the game for other people. The worst example I've seen was the jerk (I'm being polite there) who sabotaged several Master of Lambda attempts by waiting until we had Marauder's health bar down to a sliver and then tossing a grenade on him. Compared to that, dropping out of a TF is nothing.
  12. No, pie are round. Cornbread are square.
  13. Boston Cream Pie 🙂
  14. I used the tips on sinking letters last night. A bit of a pain at first, but easy enough once I got the hang of things. Thanks for the great vids!
  15. This is simply false. The "secret project" was undertaken as NCSoft's request after they nixed the proposal for CoH2. What you're suggesting would be embezzlement. People don't lose their games for that—they go to jail.
  16. So...some sort of Insane Clown Posse?
  17. People really need to keep this in mind. Even Paragon Studios, with a paid staff, couldn't guarantee their update timetable. It's unrealistic to expect Homecoming, or any other volunteer operation, to do so.
  18. Interesting. I caught the bandage but not it's possible significance.
  19. Just finished with the first two episodes and so far I'm loving it. It hasn't passed Hawkeye but it's tied with Loki for second place.
  20. That was certainly something. Kind of like Watchmen meets The Venture Brothers. The frenetic pace left me feeling unsure about whether I actually liked it or not, but it was unquestionably arresting.
  21. Some great ones listed thus far. I'm especially pleased that Hudson Hawk hasn't been completely forgotten. Let me just add one more: Tremors.
  22. There is one critique I keep seeing which is really off base: "Why didn't they help with the Chitari/Ultron/Thanos?" Because those threats all popped up on short notice. By the time the world knew they were happening, the Avengers had already dealt with the situation. The one exception being life post-Snap but even there a) what were the Eternals supposed to do once it had happened? and b) the Earth would have returned to its original population within a century*, a trivial inconvenience to millennia-old immortals. *Yes, Thanos' plan was dumb.
  23. Given the overall "meh" reputation this movie has garnered, I was pleasantly surprised to find it enjoyable. Perhaps it helps to play lots of Civilization—or just to have lowered expectations. It's definitely a slow burn though, I can see why someone expecting Marvel's usual fast and quippy style would be disappointed.
  24. That pretty much sums up my reaction every time I've gotten to the intro.
