  1. Wild Things (1998). Caught this one as part of a double feature. Based on the marketing my friend and I had assumed it was going to be some forgettable teen drama or romcom. Instead we got an excellent suspense thriller.
  2. A kick animation for Cobra Strike. My savate-using martial artist would greatly appreciate it.
  3. I think I know the one you're talking about. The gang is driving down a road and the Mystery Machine keeps breaking down in front of various spooky locations. Each time, the special guest star pulls out exactly what's needed to fix it, so they don't have to go visit the creepy place. Finally, Fred gets annoyed and just runs the van into a tree. It aired on Cartoon Network, if I'm not mistaken.
  4. Anyone who likes this sort of thing—and, really, who doesn't?—should check out: https://braveandboldlost.blogspot.com/ That said, hands down the strangest actual crossover I've ever seen was IDW's Transformers/My Little Pony.
  5. I'd love it if the destinations for base teleporters were arranged in alphabetical order.
  6. Ohhh, never thought to check out Pitch Meeting's entry on TVTropes. Whelp, there goes my evening.
  7. Bravo. My only critique is you didn't include "hey, shut up."
  8. Well, it's not like they're using it anymore.
  9. I have to say, Creature Commandos really surprised me. Not one I would have expected DC to run with, even in animation. I wonder if the Universal monster faceplant had something to do with that decision.
  10. Many bad rooms here, particularly the Arcanos reactor room, but nothing tops the pain of the COT summoning portal room.
  11. This is something I technically know but, in practice, always forget.
  12. Some of it is the new having worn off. Some of it is people returning to their normal post-pandemic lives, with the attendant reduction in free time.
  13. That was certainly what I thought when I saw it.
  14. You just need a satellite with a really low orbit.
  15. As others have pointed out, winning a CC comes down to how closely your costume matches the judges' tastes—something you often have no way of knowing. For me, the primary draw of a CC is to check out all the other costumes and bios. If I also happen to win some INF, great. If not, no loss.
  16. Thanks for posting these, I never knew there was a third episode.
  17. CO's nemesis system mated with the customization we have with AE would be awesome.
  18. I was surprised they went with the classic yellow and red costume. Bold choice, though the muted colors make it less eye catching.
  19. So, maybe you've been sleeping on this little gem. I certainly was. But I finally gave it a watch these past few weeks and it's great. If you like your superheroes with a large dollop of the surreal and the absurd, you should definitely check this show out.
  20. Just watched it last night. It was okay but the mood whiplash was something else. In the first moments we jump from the tragedy of Gorr the God Butcher to Thor hamming it up with the Guardians to Jane has cancer. It felt like it should have been two separate movies.
  21. My forum name, and global handle, are the same on HC as they were on live. In fact, thanks to NCSoft's shenanigans, Ulysses became the default name and avatar on all of my gaming sites. I wanted other CoH refugees to know I was one too.
  22. He was the Wong man at the right time.
  23. No one listens to The Question. 😄
