  1. Affinity feels bland. How about Electro Stimulation?
  2. The team inspiration buffs that give healing also count toward the healing badges. So if you've used any of those that would explain it.
  3. By far the best add-on I ever got for WoW was the one that let me play Bejeweled when I was riding on the back of a griffon for twenty minutes. Because, yes, that is awfully cool and immersive the first time you experience it but, by the twentieth time, it starts to get old.
  4. Did it have any mobs?
  5. Yes, but the essence of vigilantism—at least as far as Paragon is concerned—is doing unpleasant but necessary things for the greater good. The Wardens are do-gooding boy scouts who want to overthrow Cole without hurting any innocents. The Responsibility Loyalists, on the other hand, are perfectly willing to break a few eggs to get their omelet.
  6. Loyalists and the Resistance each have a shady and a non-shady faction. From an alignment perspective, Resistance Wardens are basically heroes, Loyalist Responsibility is like playing a vigilante, Loyalist Power is like playing a rogue, and Resistance Crusaders are basically villains.
  7. It happens with certain pieces because when they were made being able to see them from below wasn't contemplated. So the artist saved time—and processor cycles—by not drawing a surface on the bottom. In the virtual world, transparent is the default state.
  8. https://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Shrouded_Badge The badge is supposed to award from the Disrupt Nightstar's ritual mission given by Maria Jenkins. But, thanks to a bug, any mission which uses the shrouded map will give you the badge.
  9. Just got this one this morning and, like others here, it took me several tries. The aggravating thing is there's nothing particularly hard about getting the badge—there are just several steps you have to take which aren't readily apparent. So, in the interest of helping others, here's my lessons: 1) When you first talk to Vincent the mission text mentions three other NPCs you can talk to: Vince Dubrowski, Lorenz Ansaldo or Diviner Maros. You can only chose one of the three. I picked Vince. 2) Before entering the first mission go talk to whichever contact you want to run with. 3) Upon entering the mission there is a radio on the ground right inside the door. It's below eye level and doesn't have the glowie sound so it's easy to overlook. You have to use this to talk to your contact in order to spawn the mission objective they want you to pursue. For Vince this was to defeat a named character. 4) According to the mission text only Maros has an objective in the second mission. I can confirm that Vince does not. 5) Talk and use the radio for the third and fourth missions. For Vince these were both to find the glowie. 6) For the fifth mission, even though you won't be prompted to talk to your contact, go talk to them anyway. They should promise to help you. If they don't, you probably missed one of their missions. 7) Once inside the fifth mission, use the radio just like before. Your contact will show up and fight by your side—even inside the blood gem. You get the badge once this mission is complete. Important: You have to actually summon the contact in order to get the badge. Despite what ParagonWiki implies, completing their side missions is not sufficient.
  10. Oh. Yeah, if you want the Praetorian-specific titles as far as I know you have to roll a Praetorian character.
  11. What badge are you trying to get? Because all of them should be available regardless of starting alignment.
  12. It's not a glitch, that's how Mu Guardian displays for everyone.
  13. There are some gaps in PW's information—particularly in mission descriptions—but, yes, overall it is a fairly complete picture of the game at shut down. Most importantly, the information that's there is accurate. The gaps are literal gaps, not things that are wrong. Titan Network discusses the state of ParagonWiki here. The most important take away is that PW is licensed under open GNU so that anyone who wants to make a copy and use it as the basis for their own wiki is free to do so (as long and they follow the terms, of course). I'm not a code guy, but my impression is it would be much better to start with a copy of PW and add/tweak its entries to reflect Homecoming's (or whichever private server) changes rather than redoing all of that work. After all, even the most heavily-modified of the private servers is still 90% old CoX.
  14. The problem with the Homecoming Wiki is that whoever started it decided, for whatever reason, to reinvent the wheel. So instead of forking Paragon Wiki and using it as a start point, the Homecoming Wiki is starting from scratch. It's going to take a very long time to replicate the efforts of the PW editors.
  15. That fixed the problem, thanks!
  16. I'm having an issue with the latest version of Mids. It will not open old save files instead giving the following error: ExtractAndLoadFailed Unable to read data - An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007000B) It gives the same error if I create a new character and attempt to save the file. I've tried deleting and reinstalling but that did not resolve the issue, Specs: Windows 10, 32-bit .NET 4.8
  17. Ulysses gets a lot of complements on his bio, so I guess I'll post it here too:
  18. I played in one of those groups. Seven DB/Willpower scrappers and one Willpower/DB tank—each of us wielding a different pair of weapons. Weapon customization was new too that issue and that's when I knew it was going to be a big hit.
  19. Nice solution you found there, ShardWarrior.
  20. You are a silly, silly person and I applaud your efforts.
  21. An excellent guide, thanks. One suggestion: Running through the Dark Astoria story arc this week I discovered that the masks summoned by Elders count toward Banisher. There are a lot of those in the story arcs, especially in the final mission from the Dream Doctor.
  22. Most, if not all, of the DA story arcs give a badge upon completion. Have you tried looking over your badge list and comparing it to those given by the Story Arc Contacts listed here?
  23. When I remade Ulysses on Homecoming, he changed from AR/Dev blaster to DP/Ninja. I've found the "in your face" play style that DP encourages feels more in character for a displaced pulp adventurer.
  24. Okay, I'm both pleased and disappointed. Disappointed because I logged on tonight specifically to test out the crash handler and I never crashed. Pleased because, well, see previous. Seriously, great job folks. I was able to play on the 32-bit client for three hours without a single hiccup, where previously I'd have crashed to desktop within an hour to an hour-and-a-half.
  25. Are you building above the base? If so, it most likely fell down into the base proper.
