  1. In defense of these particular arcs though, they are incarnate content and should by definition be harder than standard level 50 content.
  2. Something funky is going on with the Rev and Lullaby. He won't use it at range, only at melee distance of about 11 feet or so. Everything else he will shoot at range. If the only power he has is lullaby and he is 18 feet or more away, he will just float there and look musical. But hey, at least he isn't running into melee range needlessly!
  3. Here's one that I made about a year back.
  4. I specifically remember Forum debates about the lack of incarnate progression for solo players and then the old team added the DA arcs to address that. They granted incarnate XP and salvage. And while incarnate critters have always been a little tougher, most if not all level 50s should be able to complete them at +0/1, and many can complete them at +4/x8, especially once they get their incarnate powers and level shifts. I also think it is convention that anything that requires a team . . . required a team. HC has loosened this for TFs, but I think everyone knows that TFs and Trials are supposed to be team content that certain ATs and players might be able to complete. Story arcs are generally understood to be content that can be teamed or solo. There are a few story arc missions that tell you that you might need to bring friends, but those are few and far between. And even those can be completed by most solo ATs, perhaps leaning on some temporary powers. The DA arcs also had the added personal story and intro that HAD to be run solo.
  5. ShardWarrior: What is it that you DO want? No change at all, go back to no vet levels in AE, something different?
  6. I know you are joking, but if you look at the text block I added, there's 1 Confuse hidden among 9 Scares. You should add Scare to your logger. I double-dog dare you!
  7. Yeah, the first time you run Eden and see the map and the bones is definitely a "woah" moment.
  8. I like new and difficult trials and raids. I love trying to figure out the puzzle of how best to defeat these new obstacles. I still remember the new Hamidon Raid being on test and a group of us trying it out. BaBs came by to supervise and yelled "RUN!" when it started going south. Someone else said "We are running" and he said, "RUN FASTER!!" Luckily someone had the forethought to bring a /dark and Howling Twilight did the job. Good times.
  9. Can we get rid of the combat spam that says Arctic Air is scaring things? It takes up a lot of space in the chat channel. I got: [03:13] You Scare Infiltrator with your Arctic Air. [03:13] You Scare Vigilant with your Arctic Air. [03:13] You Scare Crey Voltaic Tank with your Arctic Air. [03:13] You Scare Crey Cryo Tank with your Arctic Air. [03:13] You Scare Crey Voltaic Tank with your Arctic Air. [03:13] You Scare Vigilant with your Arctic Air. [03:13] You Confuse Crey Juggernaut with your Arctic Air. [03:13] You Scare Crey Juggernaut with your Arctic Air. [03:13] You Scare Paragon Protector Elite with your Arctic Air. [03:13] You Scare Crey Crisis Unit with your Arctic Air. Several times in one minute.
  10. That's the worst game ever! Bionic Flea is a level 1 Robot Monk Will O' the Wisp
  11. DING! addiction is real.
  12. "Unlikely" and "not change much" is not, NO NEVER!
  13. Still avoiding the question and reality. Be well.
  14. its math. math is the same for all of us. in this universe Since you didn't answer the question, I will assume that you have not logged into Brainstorm and personally tried anything.
  15. I'm not going to go round and round with you again on inf/kill vs inf/min. We disagree. But have you actually logged into Brainstorm and tried any of this? If not, you should.
  16. I think the devs got better and better with their story telling over time. Red is better then Blue and Gold is better than Red and generally newer stuff is better than older stuff. Except for the Daedulus arc. Ugh. It's horrible to me. The one thing that bothered me in Preatoria, after playing all the arcs, is that there really are no villains and no heroes. Everyone is trying to manipulate everyone else into doing what they think is right. I guess that was too much like real life and not enough comic book escapism for me.
  17. I've been leveling an ice/cold controller slowly on Brainstorm and I'm finding it pretty painful. I could see doing better with Storm or TA but that's a testament to those secondaries, not to Ice Control. I don't think I have enough control, or enough damage. I could make it more damaging by adding a bunch of damage procs, but again, that would be the procs, not the set. I think Cold Snap should have a wider fear cone and do some up front damage, not more DoTs. I appreciate the slight added damage on Ice Slick but it's too little to make much of a difference and doesn't do any containment damage. It could use a doubling or more. And even with those changes, I think it would still be bottom tier, just less so.
  18. You would be a classic Explorer in Bartle's Taxonomy! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bartle_taxonomy_of_player_types To take the test: https://mudhalla.net/test/bartle3d.php
  19. What do you do to try and create that?
  20. So what's your favorite content to run to get those rewards? So is your favorite content the content you created? That's a fair response. And one I had not thought of. I agree! One of my favorite early memories is surviving a team-wipe and cleaning up so folks could rez.
  21. Is it the story, the maps, the action, the rewards, something else? It seems to me that the player base in aggregate likes to run DFB, ITF, Tin-Pex, RSF/MLTF, Market Crash, whatever the weekly is, the Task Force Commander Accolade TFs, Maria Jenkins Arc, and MSR & Hammy raids. At least these are the things that I see advertised the most. And that doesn't include all the people soloing.
  22. Oh, Wretched Man! (https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Seer_Marino#Oh.2C_Wretched_Man.21) is one of my favorite story arcs. One of the few that I will read every word. But favorite single mission? Probably the Finale of Number Six's arc that someone else mentioned. (https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Number_Six#Finale:_New_Earth) Interestingly, I was about to start a similar thread when I saw this. My thread: What's your favorite content and why? Is it the story, the maps, the action, the rewards, something else?
  23. When I want to use a blast set and not be magical, I give them either gauntlets or suit of armor, or pretend they just shoot ice out of their hands like X-men's Iceman. That said, I wouldn't mind additional alternate animations and other computer wizardry beyond my ken to have say ice blast looking like dual pistols, AR, or Beam.
  24. What reduced rewards are you talking about? This is Troo's poll thread. No vet levels vs no emp conversion. Which of those two are you saying is a reduction? Or do you think it's both?
