  1. Surely dedicating one's self to complaining about complaining about power creep is the superior use of time, the fools.
  2. A real problem is also that current Domination substantially favors primary/secondaries that can take more sets to get to the recharge goal. Things like, say, an Earth/Earth dom might run into trouble because alot of the powers in Earth don't like taking sets. You can still finagle it, but it's going to sacrifice power effectiveness to be perma-dommed and that's not fun, but neither is not being in super-mode, so.
  3. This is definitely an interesting idea. Doms need something to change really, but I'm not sure about what the fix is.
  4. I just think all clickable incarnate abilities could use an increase in recharge duration, hybrid excluded.
  5. I'm pretty sure that's actually true in IO-land. At the same level fire gets Blaze and Blazing Bolt, Sonic gets Siren's Song and Screech. Even in "IO-land," there's no damage procs in stun or sleep, which are the only procs that Sonic Attack would have access to over Fire blast. Shockwave vs. Rain of Fire, RoF does 3x the damage at base. Fire ball vs. Howl, Fire Ball out damages it while also having less than half the cast time. If you're talking proc builds, you're looking at Ice and Dark and maybe Beam to compare to, not Sonic to Fire. Adding a IO set dedicated to Sonic Blast would not fundamentally fix the issues with Sonic Blast, it'd just make it so you have less options in the world of IOs because either: that set would be so good for it, you'd be a fool not to slot it, or it'd be a middle of the road set, in which case, why bother altering a build composition just for it? If the power set needs changing, changing the power set is how you do it, not through slapping a dedicated IO set bandaid on it.
  6. Fire Blast and Sonic Blast are at like, polar opposite ends of the tier list.
  7. Put it in a new universal damage set, maybe.
  8. Well, yes, says me, I thought that was apparent and didn't need a billboard advertising as such.
  9. The power is getting picked for its ability to mule the LotG, and then the situational use is incidental. That would make it a "mule" power. You can use it, but you aren't expecting to. It's like going Kick or Punch/Tough/Weave and then using kick or punch to mule Kinetic Combat. You -can- use it, yes, but you aren't taking it because it's a great power, you're taking it because you wanted a place to squeeze out some extra defense.
  10. Yes, people do that. Especially things like Vengeance which doesn't see much use in late game content but can still take an LotG 7.5% without really sacrificing effectiveness, or dabbling into Concealment to get some utility while also buffing recharge. In short, "mule" is very accurate.
  11. No one is "entitled" to anything in this game, to the point of playing the game itself, so that seems like a pointless thing to bring up.
  12. Anything that isn't a t1 blast power.
  13. Once armor toggles got changed to not detoggle when mezzed, they should've really gone back to look at Body Armor, since that was its big advantage. Throw in like, 5 unenhanceable smash/lethal def or something for it.
  14. Well, what would happen is that people would just end up using the 7% and 7.5% simultaneously. Also if a +recharge IO gets added that works essentially like the LotG, it is going to end up being similarly priced.
  15. I mean, isn't it? It's just standardization and bloat removal.
  16. The majority of players, I am willing to bet, do not see 1-20 content that isn't DFB. I know, I know, "but that's not everyone," buuuuut DFB as implemented by devs? Was new content that had SOs attached. At early levels. Because TOs are a joke. A 3% enhancement is nothing, like, straight up. I could just slot absolutely nothing for all the improvement TOs offer. A curve of DOs->SOs->IOs would be nice, but, in absence of that, SOs->IOs seems logical enough.
  17. I don't think we need more pop texts to say ultimately the same thing.
  18. Usually the superiors aren't that much higher than the regular ones. If you look at Winter's Bite (not Superior Winter's Bite) instead, you can probably save yourself 7-10 mil.
  19. That makes me more confused that you didn't do it just now, then. I was trading some Blistering Colds and Winter Bites around for 20mil about 4-5 hours ago. Was one or two outlying price spikes in the sales history but that's usually just someone deciding they need to have it now instead of waiting.
  20. Prices also tend to spike on weekends, though. I bought/sold thursday and prices were the same.
  21. Recipes are already more common than on live, though. It'll be fine.
  22. Ah, good, I needed a place to live my own personal waking nightmare.
  23. Everyone's in here asking questions they think are gotchas like they're Lex Luthor when they're actually Booster Gold.
  24. If the cap at 28 is 64.28%, then, no. If the cap at 28 is 95% and it doesn't scale upward gradually like I think it might, then, yes, it should be 86.6%.
