Controllers are great in 4* hard mode. When every spawn has team wipe potential, locking down the spawn becomes so much more worthwhile.

Extremely big NO to getting rid of Mental Training for Infiltration

The fact you were shot down multiple times with your proof and tried to find something else to point at each time for one specific group instead of just getting another easier to find example by standing in Atlas for 10 seconds would make it clear that you are trying to grind an axe, partner. Just being honest.

Alt+tabbing out seems like it fixes this and the case where my mouse pointer is desynced from the window so it clicks too high/too low versus where it is on the screen. That or going into windowed mode and back to fullscreen or vice versa. Just anything to refresh the game, I guess.

APP NEWliferation day 10: Poison ☣️
Indystruck replied to Vanden's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
It's Poison's poison trap, not Traps' poison trap. -recovery/end, low mag sleep, minor toxic damage isn't crazy. -
Yeah, I love the 4* ITF/Aeon for consideration of powers that may have been easily skippable in other content.

*looks over at my topic on the same page about ATOs* But, I digress. My last post in that topic was a global proc for their primary power set that applies energy damage proportional to the amount of Fury currently held. Alternatively since I imagine people want something more imaginative than a damage proc, a unique ATO that supplies a flat 5% def/5% res at low fury, which decays as fury rises and an inversely proportional +regen/+recharge buff which decays as fury falls. So you take the alpha with the defense buff, then you get the tools to regain health and deal out attacks faster to thin the herd when fury is built.

ATO procs: Bring non Scrapper/Stalkers up to par
Indystruck replied to Indystruck's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
So quick ideas, without consideration for how difficult they might be and not too thought out since i should've been asleep* already: HEATs : Harmonic Essence - Applies moderate buff to current form based on the last form utilized. damage buff from Nova, defense buff from Dwarf, Regen/Recharge buff from Human. VEATs : Swarm Tactics - Slotted power has chance to cause additional follow up attacks on target from team to cause toxic damage procs on target for a brief time period. Blaster : Splash Damage - Chance to deal additional energy damage in a minor PBAoE around target to proc globally on single target attacks. Brute : Rolling Thunder - Global chance to deal additional energy damage with primary abilities in proportion to amount of Fury currently held. Corruptor : Insidious Shots - Increase Scourge proc range by 10% (Starting to proc at missing 40% HP) Controller : Bunker Down - Global chance to cause additional Mag 2 mez of proccing control type in minor PBAoE on target. Defender: Guardian Force - Global chance for current target to apply a minor buff to team when hit by a different archetype, with each different class buff stacking (but not multiple of the same class). Blaster - minor dmg buff, Brute - minor res all buff, Controller - 1 mag protection to all, Corruptor - minor recovery buff, Defender - minor absorb shield, Dominator - minor recharge buff, MM - minor ToHit buff/ToHit debuff resist, Scrapper - minor regen buff, Sentinel - minor range buff, Stalker - minor acc buff, Tanker - minor def all buff, HEAT - small energy/neg energy resist buff, VEAT - moderate toxic resist buff Dominator: Oppressive Grip - Dominator attacking Dominated targets deals additional psychic damage. MM: Master Strategist - Pets gain Max HP and Damage based on the rank of the henchman. Shared damage incurred from Defensive mode has a chance to instead grant an absorb shield to MM/Pets for incurred damage value. Scrapper: Ebb and Flow - Chance to proc a moderate damage buff that decays with slotted power. As damage buff decays, inversely proportional regen buff scales up before expiring. Sentinel: Suppressing Fire - Chance to cause minor -def/-res with AoE attacks. Stalker: One with Shadows - Chance to PBAoE Placate with slotted power. Tank: Pillar of Strength - Enemies under the effects of Gauntlet deal reduced AoE damage. * - forgot I had this in a tab until i refound the window just now -
Yeah, that's it.

Sins of the Devs are visited upon the players
Indystruck replied to The_Warpact's topic in General Discussion
Calling the hard mode City of Dark Souls is interesting. Dark Souls is, of course, an easy game if you have even a semblance of patience and observance, and is only more difficult if you try to speedrun it. -
Sins of the Devs are visited upon the players
Indystruck replied to The_Warpact's topic in General Discussion
The game is extraordinarily easy, and making parts of it harder is fun and good. One of my big complaints about Final Fantasy X-2 was it had my favorite battle system in the series (besides maybe V) but it did not have any fights that were in depth enough to take advantage of the intricacies. With hard mode content, CoX is finally getting content that truly takes advantage of every tool in the arsenal. e: also may I say, what an amazingly pretentious topic title? -
Secret fight rewards 10 additional prismatics since it can also kill the run if you don't meet the time limit, IIRC.

Gimmie more of that hard mode content.

Nerf Destiny before Any More Advanced Difficulty TFs/SFs
Indystruck replied to Astralock's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Destiny mostly trivialized support sets on its own, but hard mode content is making support relevant again. Only nerf I'd really propose for destiny is extending the cooldown period of every one but Clarion and Incandescence. -
dude I set City of Heroes' volume at 2 on volume mixer and I can hear the game when I go outside and down the driveway to get my mail

Focused Feedback: Reward Merits
Indystruck replied to Booper's topic in [Open Beta] Focused Feedback
As I said in the other topic, not a fan. The conversion keeps Emps/Astrals from being useless, and I already level up characters primarily through running TFs/Incarnate trials when available. I'd have rather stuck with the Vet AE removal, even though I thought it was heavy handed. -
issue 27 Issue 27, Page 4: General Feedback
Indystruck replied to The Curator's topic in [Open Beta] Focused Feedback
I level up doing regular content to include incarnate trials and TFs and such and always had a surplus of emp/astrals as it is because I plan ahead. So I guess now I'll just have an excess of Incarnate stuff I won't ever use because ????? -

The phrasing on Aria of Stasis is "Your audience they take psionic damage and is rooted in place by Aria of Stasis" which can probably stand to be changed. -
