  1. Calling the hard mode City of Dark Souls is interesting. Dark Souls is, of course, an easy game if you have even a semblance of patience and observance, and is only more difficult if you try to speedrun it.
  2. The game is extraordinarily easy, and making parts of it harder is fun and good. One of my big complaints about Final Fantasy X-2 was it had my favorite battle system in the series (besides maybe V) but it did not have any fights that were in depth enough to take advantage of the intricacies. With hard mode content, CoX is finally getting content that truly takes advantage of every tool in the arsenal. e: also may I say, what an amazingly pretentious topic title?
  3. Secret fight rewards 10 additional prismatics since it can also kill the run if you don't meet the time limit, IIRC.

  5. Destiny mostly trivialized support sets on its own, but hard mode content is making support relevant again. Only nerf I'd really propose for destiny is extending the cooldown period of every one but Clarion and Incandescence.

  7. As I said in the other topic, not a fan. The conversion keeps Emps/Astrals from being useless, and I already level up characters primarily through running TFs/Incarnate trials when available. I'd have rather stuck with the Vet AE removal, even though I thought it was heavy handed.
  8. I level up doing regular content to include incarnate trials and TFs and such and always had a surplus of emp/astrals as it is because I plan ahead. So I guess now I'll just have an excess of Incarnate stuff I won't ever use because ?????
  9. The phrasing on Aria of Stasis is "Your audience they take psionic damage and is rooted in place by Aria of Stasis" which can probably stand to be changed.

  13. Willpower is a bonkers set that runs into the very rare problem of a select enemy type that does something exotic which can hamper it for a moment. It's fine.
  14. I would usually agree with this, but Incarnate stuff is honestly just that busted that it'd be much easier to balance without it than with. In part because of the sheer variance of Incarnate power creep (how many level shifts a person may have or which tier are they up to/what levels are their incarnate abilities, etc). I think dealing with something that works by suppressing Incarnate abilities would make for an interesting mechanic though in new, regular content, as that seems like it could and should be something with a story focus rather than existing as a difficulty modifier.
  15. Beryl Crystals is listed as giving resistance to Confusion and ToHit debuffs, but it has Confuse Protection in combat attributes. Also not seeing +Accuracy in combat attributes when checking.
  16. A Rider Kick makes perfect sense as an AoE kick.

  19. Dark Manip for blasters definitely needs something to spice it up, yeah.
  20. I'm still not impressed with Touch of the Beyond. In comparison to the former Elec sustain, even, at least that had a big bonk and everything was on it's ass and it did something effectively. ST Terrorize is.... well. It wasn't good enough for Touch of Fear, which got much better within the same patch. And I feel like the unenhanceable PvE hold component being added in is acknowledgement of that fact without actually doing much to change it. I suppose if you're soloing and running 1x/+1 it's effective at keeping something locked down if you need to go AFK right then. Just put it on autofire and... it'll still there be when you get back, just, the enemy will have only attacked you every now and then.

My problem is that some people want to be Scrooge McDuck and swan dive into a pile of alt names they can't realistically ever use, short of becoming Goro, Prince of the Shokan and leader of the armies of Outworld so they can have sufficient arms to multibox all their names. I don't know what your problem is, persay.
