I think the Conglomerate mostly wound up on Everlasting. I know Rachael Storm did and a few others.

I would offer to power level folks but my 50's are a dark defender, a kinetics defender and a widow. I can help people die slower, die faster or die with really swell buffs. No one ever seems interested in my assistance some how. 😄

All of the above merely demonstrates what I previously suspected. Namely that the community on Everlasting is one of the kindest, giving and caring gaming communities there is. I am very proud of the people of our server.

I really hate to say it, because I love my dark/dark defenders, but for a true lock down dark character, controller is the way to go.

I have it on a good authority* that anyone who is dissatisfied may ask for a full refund. *My hair stylist knows the brother of one of the developer's cousin's father. So you know it's accurate.

I generally tp anyone who also recall friend or assemble the team first. After that, in it's in order of maturity. Leeroy Jenkins is always last. If he aggros the bad guys while everyone else is being 'ported we can always port his corpse and use it for vengeance bait. #ireallyamthatcold

I have a 41 Night Widow. Unless I am in a team, she takes vary little damage. When solo, a green inspiration is usually enough to cure all ills. In pick up groups things can get interesting. But isn't that always the case?

Recall Friend + Vengeance + Howling Twilight + Twilight Grasp makes for a pretty neat chain. It also makes for a pretty picture.

It always comes across as a very "get off my lawn" type of attitude. Get off my lawn! ;) Back on topic, making the topic even more meta serves little purpose. Even more on topic, I rushed my main to fifty so I could equip my alts better. The cash earned at and over fifty is ludicrous. I knew fro my days on Live that my main could fund any number of alts with pocket change. That has proved to be true. My alts are better equipped than my main evcer as and I am leveling them much more slowly.

To clarify, I'm interested in how I can help my team mates, not in how to solo. Sometimes helping means doing damage directly (by way of example, three ITF's back my team mates would not defeat the immunes. So I powered up my snipe and took 'em down. By some strange coincidence the bosses started dropping about then. Darnedest thing). More often it means keeping them on their feet and helping them do more damage faster. How do we do that effectively?

There are two primary routes to get the stuff you need: shards 'n threads and empyrean merits(EM). The shards 'n threads path also requires influence. The Empyrean Merits path does not. You can mix and match them (use Incarnates for tier 1 and EM's for tier for example). The whole thing is rather byzantine with lots of required conversions and a variety of merits and rewards. Off topic rant: What's especially galling is that incarnate salvage is not tradeable and not saleable. Throw in three types of merits and what's left is a hot mess. It's all needlessly complex and seems like it was never well thought out or designed.

Speed Boost is now an aoe and thank goodness.

1. I think DFB recruiters tend to spam a bit more than others. That is only my opinion. 2. At least on Everlasting, DFB requests run about 45% of the total. Again, only what I have seen. 3. DFB spam is on the decline. This is especially notable during the off hours. 4. When you are trying to recruit a PUG you want as many eyeballs on your post as possible. A newbie likely would not know to join a DFB channel much less how to do so. LFG is one of the default channels.

Tips, which lead to Alignment missions, will start dropping after you train to level 20. Null the Gull is located on top of the truck on the villain side of Pocket D, and can be accessed at level 1 to change alignment (as well set a number of other, somewhat esoteric, options) This. If you get the free travel powers from the nice P2W lady you can make the trek at level 1 without much danger. There are two trucks (if I remember correctly) in Pocket D. Null is on the truck on the redside.

If you were designing your ideal defender for endgame team high end content (ie AV's) what would be your powers? Your goal would be to provide maximum effective support to your team mates. I have my own ideas but I am interested to find out what the consensus is and why.

What mouse do you use the most for CoX? What would be your fantasy mouse if money were no object? Mine is an Easterntimes Tech T7. It is adequate.

A partial answer may be this: If I am doing a rikti mothership ship I tend to be busy and the more laid back members of the league can be very chatty. So between me not paying much attention to the chat box and a lot of chat spam being tossed about, I typically miss any tells. Your friends may just be busy at the moment.

I'd skip to the top and see what incarnates are in need of a mistress. But I'm not bad, so that would never happen. ;)
