i27 page 2 Blaster Secondary Atomic Manipulation Beta Decay Rooting Effect
LQT replied to LQT's topic in Bug Reports
As of page 3 the power is still rooting upon activation. -
Focused Feedback: Dr. Aeon Strike Force
LQT replied to Booper's topic in [Open Beta] Focused Feedback
There's a ramp in mission 1 that AI pets, including the Secretary, really can't manage well. I've seen both fail to descend down the ramp on a few runs now and the only way to get them to properly travel is to slowly guide them down. -
Has this been implemented again? Running the intro AP arcs again via ouro on a higher toon and again the Vahz in the sewer and Arachnos Commanders are extremely sparse.
-
Make sure you're following all damage sources. Some pseudo pets don't count as player damage and might be initially missing from the combat log, ["Pet Damage Inflicted" for example].
-
Tremor isn't accepting ATOs atm despite other damage powers from the set doing so, [Stone Prison, Heavy Mallet, Seismic Smash].
-
This so much. I don't tend to like Blast 1' sets without a snipe as it means no extra range from Defiance effects for what is archetypically a blasting role where range is what they excel at. As the build currently stands Tombstone doesn't immediately stand out as being a sniper attack unlike every other sniper power in game which uses the same icon, [except Mace Beam in Scorpion Mastery for some reason].

Lightning Rod (Tanker version) has a chance to fail
LQT replied to GM Impervium's topic in Bug Reports
Just had this miss on a Bio/Elec tank so it's still about in some form. Used a "powexec_location target" macro bound to Shift+m4 and despite landing right in the middle of the group the full effect of the power was to hit 1 mob: Personal log info [21:20:31] You activated the Lightning Rod power. [21:20:33] HIT Galaxy Adjutant! Your Lightning Rod power had a 95.00% chance to hit, you rolled a 19.41. [21:20:33] You hit Galaxy Adjutant with your Lightning Rod for 490.7 points of Energy damage. [21:20:33] You knock Galaxy Adjutant off their feet with your Lightning Rod! [21:20:33] You hit Galaxy Adjutant with your Armageddon: Chance for Fire Damage for 107.08 points of Fire damage. [21:20:33] You hit Galaxy Adjutant with your Offensive Adaptation for 0.72 points of Toxic damage. [21:20:36] You activated the Lightning Clap power. Full log info This is the group in question: And this was roughly where I landed after using LR -
For what it's worth I get the same bug you've mentioned on my stalkers in combat/using fast snipe so it's a persistent thing. It's been like this for months. Edit: post from June 2020 that touches on this regarding damage occurring before the attack in question lands

Sup, Jewely. Good to see another 1ATer about. Last I saw of Okton he's on one of the US servers. Darkwings are over on Reunion and I currently use the ALTS SG name as my personal hermit cave. Nothing wrong with playing on another server, timezones and such can mean people only have so many hours to be on and if that ends up being 4 in the morning sometimes using the non EU servers works best despite the slight latency increase. Hope you're doing well :)

Logging out in instances currently always sets the logout timer to 19/20 seconds. Previously [months ago] while inside an instance it could be between 0 and 20 as experienced in the open world which is currently how the open world still functions. As of the last 10 patch notes, which is up to the start of this year, there are no notes regarding any changes to this. Even checking every patch note post on the first page of the subforum, back to April 2020, there are no such notes indicating this has changed. I've run across changes that were undisclosed before, either intentionally or otherwise like the Cavern of Transcendence recipe drop issue, so these kinds of changes are a thing which have snuck by before. As this isn't a game breaking issue it wouldn't surprise me if this has been noticed before but dismissed as happenstance with no testing of conditions. Overall the matter does little beyond extend waiting times to change toons so it's more a QoL issue than anything else but that can end up more significant for some than others. Any clarification on this would be appreciated.

i27 page 2 Blaster Secondary Atomic Manipulation Beta Decay Rooting Effect
LQT replied to LQT's topic in Bug Reports
This is still not working properly. Fire/Atom/Flame blaster still roots briefly upon activating Beta Decay. Similar situation on a Water/Atom/Flame blaster. -
Trial is still not rewarding a recipe upon completion.

This is the problem you are encountering. If you run Eden on +3 or +4 you won't get many, if any, Ambrosia dropping from the DE bosses on the bridges. It's been a bug for months at this point and crops up on the forums whenever the trial is the WST. Here's a post from April with the same issue:

Lightning Rod (Tanker version) has a chance to fail
LQT replied to GM Impervium's topic in Bug Reports
Ran around DA on a Bio/Elec Tank for a bit. Have LR set up to use in 3/4 different wants. 1. Manual placement of power marker. 2. Location_target macro activated through m3 key. 3. Location_me macro activated through Shift+T keys to mimic my Blast set t9s/Nukes. 3.5 Mouse keys Shift+m3 for quick manual placement without having to click the actual action bar. Results of running around LR'ing DA mobs: 1, 2, and 3.5 all would miss at times. 3 didn't and differs from the other situations in that combat has already started however brief. So maybe Gauntlet is doing something funky or something else Tank only before combat starts but for now didn't get very far because as mentioned it's difficult to replicate the bug. -

I'll translate it into old CoX Live Dev speak: *ahem* Soon™

There was an in game Announcement every shard was getting emergency restarts and then things went down 30 seconds later.

I occasionally run radio/paper missions on alts to test out large group effects on alts and the easiest option unsurprisingly are level 50 1/8 Council missions with a glowy due to the abundance of S/L attack types and the glowy objective meaning you can clear the entire map if desired. As it can take a bit of RNG to get a Council + Glowy mission so when able I hold on to these after landing on one through the Radio/Paper. However a few times now I've logged on to a level 50 alt and said radio/paper mission has vanished. I don't complete these so it's not that. I don't abandon them either, so it's not that. The mission simply isn't there one day and I need to go rolling RNG again for another one. It doesn't affect every alt like this at once so it can't be a universal change happening. Additionally sometimes the mission layouts of these missions will change despite remaining consistent for weeks at a time so the internal details of the mission are being altered in between play as well somehow.

I've had some Bonfires end up under the floor at times because of this. Manual targeting was fine and both the graphic and combat log showed the power was in effect, however using the powexec_location options the traveling "fireball" would land short of the target and fail to cause any damage or Knock effects.

This isn't a bug, it's the OF proc overlapping with the SA modifier to KB. KD is magnitude 0.67 KB. Slotting SA or OF into Bonfire [and any other KD power] will change every tick of KB into KD by changing whatever mag is in play from IOs to mag 0.67. The problem you are encountering is that OF has a proc in addition to converting KB>KD for non KB powers you might want a KD in like pbaoes for example when you already used an Avalanche IO. In the case of powers that already with a KB component [Bonfire, Nova, Dawn Strike, Quasar, etc] this 0.67 mag proc will now and again stack with the mag 0.67 KD the power now uses. This becomes KB again due to the KB mechanic mag being greater than 1.00. As for slotting Bonfire it can easily work with just an OF or SA KB>KD IO as it's used for soft CC and not damage in the first place. If you do have the spare slot and really want to use it on Bonfire put a RecRed in there for more regular use but slotting both OF and SA as you are now will just negate some KD ticks because of how KD can stack.

Still not working. Still no comment about why/when it was changed.

issue 27 Patch Notes for April 20th, 2021 - Issue 27, Page 2
LQT replied to Jimmy's topic in Patch Notes Discussion
This has now been answered multiple times. It's really not that complicated an answer but I'll say it again since it keeps getting missed or possibly even intentionally skipped by some to downplay things: It's never been explained. As per the links I posted on page 11 it was brought up while still in testing therefore dismissing claims like this from PeregrineFalcon: Players did exactly that and yet got zero feedback all throughout the testing and implementation phases and are still asking the question why it was changed. tl;dr: Feedback was requested multiple times why the change was made. There was none then when it was still a test patch, there still is none now after it's gone live. -
Still not working. Decided to check some attuned tAoEs I have for conversion purposes and out of 10 Detonation conversions I ended up with 5 Air Burst, 2 Posi, 2 Anni, and 1 Bombardment IOs. So that's 50% of the IOs unable to continue converting by category and now relying on RNG to land elsewhere on the table of flipping results.

This arc has issues. Pigging backing off @Pengy's comment about using the temp power sometimes the temp power doesn't even get granted so you're stuck.
