  1. so, this is kinda dumb, but my favorite tank is WP/Mace with the shovel weapon... just because I like smacking things around with a shovel. He's also really tanky, sitting over 90% resist to S/L and over 45% def to F/C/N/E.
  2. SR/MA can soft cap without any IOs/Maneuvers/Weave if memory serves correctly. the trick to Aid Self is 2x 50+4 Interrupt IOs. That will put you at the ED cap and should make you be able to fire it off as much as needed. So, since you can soft cap without IOs, you should focus on resist and recharge, since that's your weak point.
  3. depends on what sets the brute are. Yeah, if you're going /Stone armor and don't want to build to break even with damage, recharge, and movement speed (which you can do) then a Kin is your best friend. But /Stone armor is such a good set that there is no reason not to build for those. Depending on the set, would depend on the best support. For a Defense based set, a Sonic/Sonic or Thermal/Sonic are going to be great to bolster support for when you do get hit, for a resist based set (assuming you can get close to the resist cap) Cold or Time/Sonic would be your best friend for the same reasons.
  4. If you're farming only, you can drop Super Jump for Consume. You don't need KB protection in a fire farm, and you can get away with 1 slotting consume. You've got Ageless Core, so you shouldn't have too many end issues. I don't know which is better, Miracle +recovery or Pancea Health/End, but you can always drop a slot from Build Up for Miracle to get both benefits. Because of your tohit buffs, you can cut a slot out of Melt Armor, just have the resist debuff and put in Numina's Regen/Recovery as well. Those should all help your end drain.
  5. I mean, if you can tank recluse on MLTF I'd say you're doing pretty good. Instead of recharge, might I suggest building for resist and defense and using Ageless Radial as Defense Debuff resistance? You should be able to cap all resists (with the possible exception of Psi/Toxic) which will make you even tankier, but I'm no master at Dark melee, so I don't know how the resist game plays out in IO world.
  6. you should absolutely take veng on a Rad/ defender. just remember. Veng before Fallout.
  7. Beam is going to have better ST damage while AR has better AoE damage. Beam gets some AoE -Defense and ST -Regen From what I've heard, Beam is objectively better than AR, but really, with rad as a primary, it boils down to "do you want to do ST or AoE damage"
  8. strange thing... I just tried to run Skyrim: Special Edition and I was able to move just fine. My old computer does not have the software because it's not the RGB model. I wonder if it's the software on my newer rig that is causing the issue. Though that seems to only be for changing the key colors and nothing else.
  9. Mouse test worked perfectly, so just for fun I plugged in a different keyboard and voila it worked no problem. Looks like there must be some problem with the keyboard. Thanks again all!
  10. Tried this, no luck. I'm running Win10 64. I've updated all of my drivers and changed my audio to use the onboard chip rather than the HDMI, still no luck. I went to MSI's website and updated drivers that way, and still have the issue, is there something else I should be trying? Also, I want to reiterate that my character is the only thing that is stuttering/barely moving. Everything around me is running normal. He's also a Force Field Controller and Dispersion Bubble runs normal as well. I doubt this is the issue, but once I get a chance later today, I'm going to plug my laptop into my TV to see if I have the same problem.
  11. If you don't like the slow animations of Broad Sword, might I suggest Katana? It's identical in terms of powers, but damage is slightly lower, animation time and recharge time are slightly higher.
  12. Nope, I double checked and I am in fact plugged into my GPU. Thanks for all the suggestions all.
  13. I'm actually running the exact same keyboard on both setups (some Cooler Master, don't remember the model) I tried installing the C++ distribution but I'm already running a newer version, so it wouldn't let me install it. the intel ethernet driver update didn't seem to fix the problem either. Thanks for the advice though.

  15. banner seems to have disappeared for me, but it said game was going down for maintenance from 1300 UTC for "Several hours" whatever that means.
  16. Do you want natural, or do you want an actual "Last Man Standing" If you want the last man standing, perhaps something like Stone/MA. Storm Kick provides an addition 10%!!!!! Defense to everything except psi, so granite caps without any slotting for it, giving you extra room to slot to fix the negative sides of granite. Here is my build for reference, damage is at -4.5% and haste is at -1.25% before hasten movement speed is slightly higher than base (without Swift) movement speed, but you have Teleport to move into groups. 17. For my "Ultimate team set" I went Earth/Thermal controller. Low damage, yes, but lots of support. Illusion would be a good choice as well. /Sonic is always a good choice as lowering enemy resistance makes things die faster. /Fire is another good choice if you want to be able to solo a bit
  18. I went a slightly different direction than recharge, slotting for max defense wherever possible, this caps to all but negative and psi. Only down side is no travel power, but Sprint/Ninja Run and Jetpack can more than make up for that. 19. It's not a new rig, it's about 5 years old, everything is up to date, I've played many-a games (including a newer MMORPG) without any hiccups. Netgraph had 1 red spike right when it started, but after that it was all green. The strange thing is that sometimes (rarely) I can move normally, but as soon as I stop moving the issue pops up again.
  20. Old Rig (Laptop): Processor: Intel I7 6700HQ Mainboard: AsusTek N501VW Memory: 16GB DDR4 Clocked at 1063MHz (I know, strange) Graphics: Displaylink USB Device (it also has a GTX 960M in it New Rig: Processor: Intel I7 5820K Mainboard MSI X99s SLI Plus (MS-7885) Memory 16 GB DDR4 Clocked at 1066 MHz Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 980 As for the uploading gameplay footage, does that include Youtube links? I just want to make sure that the problem I'm having is clear, because it's something I've never seen before.
  21. This isn't rubberbanding, my characters move like they are at the movement floor and there is all kinds of character stuttering, almost like they are trying to move but can't. Also, even though I have combat jumping active, I jump about as high as if it weren't. When I get home I'll see if I can get a screen recording of it to post and show what is happening.
  22. Hi, So I just changed computers and logged in for the first time on my new(er) rig. My problem is that when I try to move, I do so EXTREMELY slowly and my character stutters like it is trying to move but just can't. Any idea what might cause this? Thanks
  23. At 26 you get Energy Absorption, which is an end recovery power (it saps end from mobs and gives it to you) it also gives you some defense. As for slotting, you should only have 3 slots in stamina, anything beyond that (with Single Origin Enhancements or IOs level 30+), you'll hit the ED (Enhancement Diversification) cap and you will see no benefit. Ice/Spines is a blast to play, mine is semi-retired, but was so much fun, especially after level 26
