  1. Some useful info here thanks all. I have to digest a lot of it so it's going to take me a bit, but I think it's important not to get too spiky when it comes to arguments about thorns! 🤣
  2. Thanks! That was about the only place I didn't look but it seems to have worked well!
  3. tried to rename Vitric to The Glass Fox only she's now called Glass Fox. I cannot for the life of me see where to get the The back from. Any help please? TIA
  4. via https://inspirobot.me/ As an aside, Steamboat Willie can be solved with just a short course of antibiotics and proper hygene

  7. Noodly appendages from the Flying Spaghetti Monster?
  8. So I've discovered an issue here that is dissatisfying. It seems logical to me that The Glass Fox should be much more resilient than Vitric Vixen otherwise the transition from one to the other doesn't make sense. (Assuming the transition happens during periods of stress.) As it stands, Vixen (Ice/Ice crupper) is much more damaging and resilient than Fox (Ice/Thorn dom) who is struggling to survive and cannot take enemies down easily. In fairness, both are in their early 30s at this stage so of course things may well change but in my experience, although characters improve over time as you level, they tend never to improve so radically they will suddenly bloom at 50 to put everything else in the shade. I also find The Glass Fox dominator variant quite difficult to play - partly due to my inexperience with doms maybe? - and partly due to the fact that the AT overall seems to require more manual input and control (and is also stupidly end heavy) Don't get me wrong, I'm enjoying all of this adventure and she would stand up well on her own and be enjoyable - but there's a different goal here. I also found during playing both that my RP instinct, such as it is, was that Vitric Vixen was the more badass of the two... a hard hitting corrupter that could deal consistently high damage, despite the boost that The Grey Fox gets when Domination is up. I also realised that the names are arse about face - The Grey Fox doesn't sound half as sinister as Vitric Vixen which has a bit more mystery and savagery inherent in it, at least in my opinion. I'm minded then to return the original iteration of Vitric to the duo I have but swap the egos - The Grey Fox is an all ice blaster with the grey hat and Vitric Vixen is a charcoal all ice crupper. That seems good enough and is a position I'd kind of reached earlier in this thread. But that then leaves me with a character floating around which is very viable and quite fun to play - so I was thinking that a server transfer or two and I could recreate the same theme with a slightly different flavour. This newer iteration would be The Grey Fox domination with Vitric Vixen as something like a Sentinel, except that I feel like I could do more with the glass concept than simply going ice/ice/ice. I don't know much about Sents but I was wondering if there's a secondary that would work well thematically but give me something different, so Ice/X/Ice. The question is dear reader, what should X be and more importantly why it would fit with the theme?
  9. I'm glad we're all able to see images of Cthulhu now, despite the fact we're not supposed to look upon him

  12. Guys, we had a great time! Huge thanks to @Glacier Peak for leading us. We only did some of the places, so it's very likely we shall reconvene on the weekend I took some pics which I will post once I've got my morning stuff out of the way! Thanks to everyone who came and took part!
  13. well if you know of any I'd welcome a reference Here's one: https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Dead_Man's_Tree_Badge
  14. Not to my knowledge but I am highly inexpert in the use of said wiki. Other minds may have better answers
  15. you left the "iant" off the end of that. Your abbreviations are confusing people!
  16. when I say blizzard I'm talking about a sound effect of a howling wind
  17. Yes I'd considered Ice Mastery for exactly the thematic reason but I'd also given some thought to Psionic and Primal Forces though they are less comfortable thematically. I misread Arctic Air re stealth and I might have been confusing it with Arctic Fog from Cold Domination (not available to Doms) so thanks for the correction there. I try and avoid Cardiac as a matter of course because it seems that it solves the Endurance problem but at the cost of a lot of flexibility. I often look at Agility, and hadn't considered Vigor here but both might work, thanks! Thanks. This is gold. I typically try and avoid using damage procs, I've always felt there's better alternatives but I guess this is an opportunity to try something different. Thanks all of you for some great input! Oh and I love caltrop like powers so I think I will take it just to double up with Ice Slick (Caltrops is one of my favourite places to slot the freebie KD proc that P2W gives - and that proves to be excellent damage mitigation ) How good is Jack Frost? I found the blizzard sfx to be super annoying but I also figure he can be renamed Prince Rupert (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prince_Rupert's_drop) ) which makes for a very nicely fitting theme (and he looks quite glassy) but I don't know whether he's a good enough pick
  18. I'm trying to build The Glass Fox - see for reference I went for this form of Dom because on paper it seemed to fit the bill in terms of performance and more importantly concept, but I've got limited dom experience so I'd appreciate input from those who know better than I. At face value this seems like an outstanding support toon but I'd like to ensure it has high solo survivability. She needs to be very stealthy (think Thief) and mobile - I know that Ice has a stealth power but is that sufficient? I also quite like Weaken Resolve as an early opener to give me that extra debuff, and Combat Jumping for when fighting I'm not familiar with Ice Control, and less so with Thorny Assault but from the description of the powers Thorny Assault looks like it gives a good range of melee powers and Ice also lets you get up close and personal so that might be an area to explore. As for EPP/PPP Im undecided but it must reflect [sic] the concept of glass. GRateful for all input, thanks
  19. If you know the Location of places you'd like to visit please post them here preferably with /loc coordinates so this can remain as guide for future use! Thanks
  20. that depends on how you define "Mostly" Are you suggesting that of all the devs, over 50% are now deceased? Or are you suggesting that each dev, when taken at a macro level, is more dead than alive? This seems to be apposite;
  21. My global is @Riff and I will be on Crimson Charger outside of Wentworth's AH in Atlas Park
  22. Surely if they were formerly live they would simply be dead but yes, the title did give me that vibe!
  23. we shall endeavour to find out!
  24. Yes... that kind of solution occurred to me. I might try the one I moved to Runion with that... but I like having the distinct avis and power sets I think this concept has a lot of mileage throughout the game though and can be achieved in ways we've not even thought about yet
