An ice cold corr is one of the top tier league players. The aoe FU is priceless. I have played cold trollers, too good at one thing and nothing of the other. Corr with debuffs are da bom

are you happy with both being ice ice Blasters? If so you could alt build... One might be an in your face Blapper and the other reliant on the stealth pool and range for a completely different build tertiary power sets and playstyle....

i ran many a redside run on a few global IOs and a ton of SOs, doing all content. usually did not slap in sets until late 30s-40s

SS Willpower is nice at Low level. Mez prot at 10. Knockout Blow at 8. No Aoe until way late, but you have Punch Haymaker and KO Blow right up front. That is something to hit a level 8-10 Boss with and just laugh

I have themes i have explored. Mutants, strongmen, robots, and of course undead. Then i pair that with in game interests, Brute playstyle, tanking, blasting, leading inevitably to Corruptors and Doms. A few trollers, a scrapper or two, and a stalker or two. Then i thematically pair. AR blasters are tech for i stance. Erm, except the robo-lich….which is ….both? I have maybe 30-40 of these 50d and with full builds. My absolute favorites have alt builds for different content. I have many many pages of non 50s. Quite a few with IO builds. Then I have 40-50? 50s that are stripped as redundant or boring. But not deleted.

Yes indeed! I got it when I bought the Good vs Evil edition from a brick and mortar game store so long ago…. Had a map of the city. Which is lost somewhere in the back of my catacombs. I think. Someone may have stolen it thinking it was a map to the outside. Dinner guests can be quite a challenge

New people show up. Play for months or years. It is a game that fills a niche not found elsewhere. Customization at the level CoH offers is extremely rare. The customization is not just exterior but powers/animations/ and builds. Of course it would be nice to have a “modern” engine and new content. But city buses still get constant use too. A guide? Wait, you have never…. hrm. Okay. Not a guide writer. Or locator. But here goes. In each Redside Bank “Mayhem Mission” there is a location badge. Collect them all and you get Invader Accolade = TF Commander accolade Next part is a little trickier. Find an idiot with Scweinzer unlocked and 30-40 min to help you in port oakes Or….. make an alt acct. get a 50 on it. Preferably a farmer, will be most useful Get the “Hero Slayer Badge” on alt acct 50. This opens up Lord Schweinzer. In Port Oakes. Go to him. Log in both accts, make team. Get bank missions from Schweinzer. Get Loc badges, abandon mission, get next. Get all. Now you have Invader Accolade on main acct If you do this with your alt acct you can PL a new 50 in a day or less, with many breaks. Or PL someone 1-20 in ten min, 1-30 in 30 min. And get the accolade badge with another 30 min. now…..about that computer I just need your address. Oh, and what is your blood type? You AB neg by any chance?

My regular suggestion everytime this comes up…. Default all Kill Alls to smallest maps. That cuts a huge chunk of nothingness right off the TF. The small maps are in there. Getting them is a lucky shot

Get the accolade redside. With an alt acct 50 who has Schweinzschtupher unlocked you can get the Accolade at level 1 in 30 min tops. Would be less if the damn doors would cooperate

I madd an ice ice Tank last winter. Ran all TFs and incarnated him. Fing Incredible at holding agro. on a Posi 1 there is nothing you can do but hope. I type one warning un the last mission to not go on the steps. Sometimes it works. A tray full of insp and an email with more crammed in it helps a bit. But if the team is true dog shit all you can do us come here, post, and laugh through the pain. can i really smash your desktop?

You can always, like myself, choose (be invited?) to join the undead community. Technically you still will not make it out “alive,” and there tends to be a lot of “dues” to be paid from the new community members. But you will still be around. Sort of.

This is probably the best thematic overall choice. There are some powers from powersets that do the “half fade” or have the option to switch the power animation. But you said you did not want to be locked in like that. Stealth takes LOTG and a few other unique pieces commonly crammed on high end builds.

Jump+stealth slotting end fully and perfshift proc, plus any end tricks can be crammed on. There are health i:os that give +end as well. Cram on
