  1. These things are trying to control us. And drive us crazy! I just opened a browser and typed in a simple request. Okay, not very simple, but its a starting place. "easy rock guitar songs to solo play and sing" (starting my music practice back up) it happened to go into Bing...which took me to a new Bing page (not search results) that had all the benefits of Bing, with a huge "ASK ME ANYTHING" right in front of me. Vampire nails tapping on coffin/desk. "I JUST ASKED YOU SOMETHING!"
  2. The new pepper X from Pucker butt farms; Fully saturated +dam Blaster Inferno vs a Foe with -res debuffs going. Gonna get warm.
  3. Worry about humanity. There are some truly beautiful minds amongst humanity. But most of humanity struggles to wipe their own butt effectively.
  4. I am a blatant hypocrite who drains the life energies from everyone around me Honestly pretty happy. Thank you for your concern!
  5. errr it is a really old game and they A) had the resources to rename certain npcs B ) did not have the resources to create new npcs you are welcome.
  6. There are many things better about CoH over Snorecraft (i have an account). My best “season” in any online game was when I found Cosmic Council in CoH and they were running hot and heavy. Great Leadership. Nearly nightly with Discord. Hard badging. Then….crickets. Great year for me. I have not found anyone as organized, creative, and welcoming in Snorecraft. Or another such group in CoH. Although I tend not to look. I joined CC almost by accident setting up Discord for RHW Magisterium. Then stayed. They were (are?) the best. I will not name names. Out if fear if not mentioning one of the dozens of great gamers that were hyperactive in that time. But props to the nightly organizers especially. Lot of work.
  7. A "good" Blaster is at/near the front for most builds. Mat Dark Blaster comes in with big AoE -to hit debuffs and Mag 2 AoE stun that I stack with a Mag 2 stun for more protection against bosses. Then quickly melt the "junk" mobs. But it is not Tanking. It is Blapper lifestyle. If the team stays together you may feel like you are leading. If the team goes to the other side of the room in the ITF caves you may feel the need to follow after getting in a few good AoEs. Or it might work. Blapping ain't for the weak kneed.
  8. Reads the request. Blinks. Reads again. Try Invulnerability edit. Sees the necro post date. Damn, that stone armor took two tears to reply and thinks he is going fast. Oof. Blowing them snails off the Autobahn!
  9. This on Everlasting? I played there a bit when I joined HC and picked up a stalker for a few weeks. They realllly did not like me. And I ask, what is not to like?
  10. Really makes clunky old resistance armors more appealing.
  11. I like the warhammer priest idea. Probably a bit off track…. Invulnerability Titan Weapon Tank
  12. Best pizza topping is fresh hearts and hot peppers. Obviously
  13. Yeah. Except a player characters resistance value also provides protection from debuffs. Say a Tank has 100% res to a damage type. Sure, he only gets credit for 90%. Except for against the debuff. Full 100%
  14. But you got the lol emoji. I love chapelle
  15. I was shocked to learn damage resistance resisted itself being debuffed. Now i learn it resists lowering of the damage dealt as well. Damn. Thanks
  16. I feel like i am talking to someone through a drive through speaker do you mean damage resistance resists “lowering of damage resistance values” or does “resist damage debuffs” mean something else. Because I cannot figure it out
  17. Damage Resistance resists debuffs to Damage Resistance. It is very simple yet the sentence is awkward due to repetitive use of words Not sure what “resisting smashing damage debuffs” means
  18. I learned English In Kentucky. You gets what you gets. I have moved on to studying German. At least it has rules. So many rules. Sigh
  19. If the forum was broke Yomo could just do an Inf dump.
  20. Blaster survival (even with my strange all range builds, but especially standard) comes down to two words... Git Gud. Seriously though. You need to know to within 95% whether your playstyle will kill a spawn no issues BEFORE you attack. If not, then you need to adjust something. Use inspirations, change positions, set a trap, drop a temp pet etc. Knowledge of what your Blaster can do versus what your Blaster faces. This is the teeter totter all Blasters ride and you have to know how to keep it balanced in your favor. Chasing survival in a build can help. I recently posted a massively survival themed Elec Blaster in the current thread running in this forum. But it ALWAYS comes down to understanding your toon and the environment.
  21. If Disney is dying then the sky just turned red and the zombie apocalypse is nigh. Some unkillable vampires are jealous of Disney’s status of being inevitably the ruler of the world ons day
  22. Nonpet
  23. I have run an ice ice Tank. If the Ice Ice Brute performs anywhere near that level you will be ecstatic
  24. Again, the inspiration fir the build was watching a random Blaster help a fire farmer in a large 4x8 map. Now, solo is different, I grant you. But with any idiot, er teammate, grabbing agro you are golden. Also, as any good Blaster knows, you can clean any non EB 17 spawn, even at +4, with a good nuke and some follow up shots. To take down the defenses it needs to be hit. Seriously look at the range. This is not a short range build. It fires all attacks at long range. So a debuff attack will have very few follow up hits to sustain debuff. Because very few enemies lash out at very long range. This is a Blaster stalker with “oh crap” impenetrable shields. It is not optimized to be soloing 4/8. It is optimized to sit with any team as a highly survivable damage dealer. An A10 Warthog dealing death from afar. Not the Sentinel AFV serving close combat role while providing fire support. It is an odd duck, which waddles to its own tune.
